After attempting to place an online order through the website but having it come up with errors or not go through multiple times, I thought I'd go in-person and ask about possibly placing the order through the store to pick-up the items another day. The cashier was extremely polite and was happy to help, she wasn't sure of how to fill out some information for the ordering process so she asked for the store manager to come over. After 15 minutes of waiting, the manager strolls over without a greeting and immediately starts by curtly asking if I've tried to order through the website in an irritated manner. I inform her of the issue I was experiencing and offer the item numbers and other information and ask if there are any alternative methods to place the order. Rudely she remarks "No I don't do that, I can't help you press buttons any better." and disregards the rest of my explanation. After seeing this exchange will not be of any use, I thank the manager and cashier for their help and wish them a good night. Before I can finish my sentence, the manager turns and walks away without a word. The cashier and a few other employees walking around the store were all very friendly and I am very appreciative of their help. But that was by far one of the worst customer service experiences with a store manager I've ever had.

I take a few steps away after my purchases are rung up, wondering, did I remember this wrong? $2-$3 discrepancy, per item, between the shelf price, and what's rung up at the register. Worse, they don't own that *it's* *their* *job* to keep the shelf labels accurate. Yes, they refund to shelf label price, but fire back "It's the computer.", "It's Ace." This is becoming a "shop elsewhere" issue, for me.

Her interest level in working with us was marginal at best. Yet a couple came in she said she had a 4:00pm appointment with and we were an after thought. She was kissing their behinds looking to win their sale; apparently she thought their money was better than ours. At the end of the day we ordered a custom, leather recliner and they left without a decision to be made. Can't judge a book by its cover. All in all the quality of the furniture in here is superior to the other big box shops such as Bobs, Bernie & Phil's or Jordan's. Also feel that since it is a smaller company you have less red tape to deal with if you need to make a claim on it using an extended warranty. I hope to not find out.

The live music created a great atmosphere, and the variety of talented local crafters made it the perfect place to shop for unique, handmade items. You could really feel the community spirit, and it was so heartwarming to see everyone come together again for this fair. The Litchfield community is truly thankful to Chik Farm for hosting this event once more. It's such a gift to have a local space that supports small businesses and brings people together. Parking was easy and free, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. And their woodmaking store is a must-see--so many beautifully crafted pieces, from custom cut boards to thoughtful gifts. We're so lucky to have Chik Farm right here in Litchfield, NH.
