One of the best attributes I love about this office is the new technological systems they have implemented. These systems make your visit quick and efficient. During your visit with the doctor, the doctor will input information on the system during your visit, such as symptoms, treatment plans, medication, etc... By the time you walk 20 steps to check out, your whole visit is captured on a a print out for you to take home. I love this place so much that I don't mind to travel from Jeffersonville. He couldn't believe how high my inflammation markers were. He asked what was being done about them. While he agreed that the medication was the correct one he didn't agree with the dose. He stated that "he does not like stepping on other doctor's toes but that the patient comes first". Since I'm so miserable he wants to hit it hard and is increasing the dose. I can't tell you how grateful I am that I've found doctors who truly listen to me and appreciate that I'm well educated and knowledgeable about my issues. I've had family doctors where I would get well on my own (or thanks too urgent care) before I ever got an appointment. She takes her time with me. With so many doctors, they breeze in, half-listen to you, prescribe something that doesn't work, and scram. She sits and listens, ask questions, and answers your questions fully. It's not unusual to have a ten to fifteen minute conversation with her on an issue. She also reviews your record, looking for any wellness things that need to be looked at, like vaccinations. She is proactive with wellness care. She offers suggestions for diet and exercise changes to make, for example. I made an off-hand complaint about some soreness I was experiencing from a new exercise program, and she took the time to find and photocopy a four-page article showing specific stretches to help with my issue. If you are in the market for a new family doctor, I recommend Dr. Kim highly. She's a real pro.

I've never had issues with waiting to see the doc and she hasn't ever tried to "hint" at specific medications or programs. I've always had a great experience with her staff as well. Everyone clearly knows what they're doing in the office and I'm able to get appointments when I need them. Dr. Yuan even agreed to see me the day after I'd arrived home from China in Jan 2020. Thankfully no COVID. I'm not sure I could recommend her or her practice more. This isn't some place with 40 doctors where you see a different person every time and that's really beneficial because she's gotten to know who I am, what works for me and what doesn't. I also don't have to talk to a new doctor every time I go.
