Update: Went in on January 22nd to finally get my contacts. One of them needed adjustments. Again, told I would receive a call by "the end of next week" to get me back in for the new contact that was ordered. It is now February 7th. No call received over two weeks later. As opposed to sending out constant reminder texts and emails to customers about their appointments, perhaps those texts and emails should be sent to the staff as a reminder to do their job?! This is absolutely ridiculous. Don't tell a customer you'll follow-up with them in a week and never contact them...TWICE NOW! I was a long-time patient of doctors Tatum and Trezza so I was a little nervous about visiting the new doctors. I'll start with Dr. Kim because I saw her first (last year during Dr. Tatum's transition to retirement). She was fantastic! She is friendly and knowledgeable about new and developing practices in eye care; I felt very satisfied with my visit. I knew I would be in good hands with Dr. Kim. This past week I had the pleasure of meeting with her father, Dr. Chang. I made the appointment for my two young sons and me and when I was told that Dr. Kim wasn't available and that we'd have to see Dr. Chang, I was nervous again. It turns out he is amazing! He was so fun and knowledgeable and he was great with my boys (ages 10 and 11). He is patient and relatable and we all really enjoyed our visit. 5+/5 stars to both of them! That said, I give an average rating to the front office staff. They don't seem very friendly but nothing much to complain about, I guess. 3/5 read more

The doctor was fine . The personal that the doctor has working for is really hurting her business. Of course that's only my observation. I don't mind young people running the business but the one that's running Dr Kim aren't very efficient at all . I found them to be rude on the phone. Very short temper completely mislead and terrible under trained to handle a patient or a business. One little example. I spoke to a young lady the first time I thought her name was Chris . When I called back I asked for Chris she stated there was no one here with that name I said, I thought it was Chris is there no one with that name? She said no I said what is your name she said Kristen this was just a strong indication for me of a young person just isn't ready to handle a business, or to tolerate an older person that forgot someone's name. This was my husband and my first time seeing Dr. Chang after Doctor Trezza retired. He was patient, friendly, informative, knowledgeable and didn't rush us. We were impressed by the state of the art equipment and explanation of the findings. The staff was friendly as well. Well organized facility, clean exam room and online check in forms available to save time. I have yet to purchase glasses so I cannot comment on that process. Dr. Kim has always been fantastic while providing the best service possible. The only negative thing is the reception desk, nit the friendliest and didn't get a receipt for glasses once, but my fault because I can't prove my argument without a receipt! I saw Dr. Chang for my appointment. He was great. So thorough with all of his explanations. He listened to all of my concerns and addressed them all. When I went back to pick up my glasses, I was in and out within 15minutes. If you are in search for a new optometrist that will take the time to assist, evaluate and try different options than Joanne Kim, OD is the right person! The front office staff was friendly and helpful once entering the building. I was able to use their iPad to fill out new patient information. Suggestion fill out paperwork at home on computer before going into the office which will save you time. Doctor Kim was very knowledgeable and confirmed reasons for my challenges with eyesight. She took time to discuss issues of Glaucoma an Keratoconus diseases. Listened to what I had to say during the eye exam. We discussed different options that are available to try and came to a solution that made us both happy. Had the opportunity to work with Diane (staff member) for new eye glasses. She offered a few suggestions of different frames to fit my small face plus went over all pricing. Was very impressed when Diane called to advised she had made a mistake and did not include frame price in total. Love the fact that she was honest about making a mistake! Excited that another trip was not required to their office for payment of frames. Once new eye glasses arrive the payment for frames will be applied. The office location is easy to enter and exit with lots of parking. Found the office to be very clean. read more

Let me start by saying WOW!! I had the BEST experience here, hands down! For years I went to another eye doctor and always had the hardest time getting an appointment and ALWAYS had a long wait. But NOT HERE!! I made an appointment very easily and there were lots of times available to choose from. They called to confirm my insurance info because I had gotten it wrong and they were so polite. Next, I got a confirmation call(automated) and it was easy to confirm. I was running a little late for the appointment so I called to let them know and the man who answered put me at ease and told me it was no problem at all! I was only a minute late, I walked in, they checked me in and knew my name and TOOK ME RIGHT BACK to get started! Holy wow, no waiting!! Amazing. The technician was quick and efficient and put me in a room to wait for the Dr. I think I waited maybe 5 mins and the Dr came in. I feel terrible that I don't remember his name at the moment. However, he totally matched the level of service up to this point. Friendly, Informative, efficient and kind! I always worry about making a great review for fear the place will get super busy, but it's so worth it. Dr. Kent Chang was awesome. He was easy going and informative. He demonstrated how my astigmatism was causing the changes in my eyesight. He also explained to me how to accommodate with my new bifocals. Diane R. was also awesome in helping me to find the right lens features and frame to help me with my vision needs.
