Our family has been coming here for years! Doctor Rothbard is hilarious and makes eye appointments less of a chore. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. My girls and I were able to all be seen at once and we were out of there within a decent amount of time. I personally appreciate how thorough the eye exams are here. Doctor Rothbard leaves no stone unturned when it comes to eye health. It's rare to find an optometrist office with the vision field test and that alone is enough for me to keep coming back here. Dr. Rothbard is amazing! Very kind, easy to build rapport with, prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough. I was seen at my appointment time and he was able to educate me on how my eyes have changed. I also love that he uses social media (instagram, tik tok, etc). It shows his flexibility with the changing times. Our daughter (2 years old) needs glasses and we were also able to order her frames at the same time I got my frames! Finally was able to find a excellent eye doctor. Doctor Robert Rothbard is not just caring but you can see he enjoy what he does. I have macular degeneration and was looking for a great doctor "Spare No Expense" this is my only pair of eyes!!! And to my surprise after a lot of research I found doctor Bob so close. His knowledge and eagerness to help you goes beyond I have seen out and about, and that is priceless. He does not rush and takes the time needed with you. Front office personal is super kind and courteous, even when I was calling them everyday to try to change my appointment for an earlier date. Expect to pay a lot but your vision is so precious you deserve the best. They will also give 20% off for patients without insurance (like me!) We found this place based off their reviews and loved their ample selection of frames!! They are by appointment only given the circumstances of the pandemic but they were nice enough to let us in because we had an outside prescription. The doctor was super busy but even came out to introduce himself! We ordered some nice Tom Fords specs with our vision insurance. The employee gave a break down of the pricing and we were out of there! I definitely recommend this place. They have a lot of nice selections and the office is super spotless!! read more

Finally, after 3-4 years I scheduled an appointment with Rancho Cucamonga Optometric Center almost entirely based on reviews. I have been wearing glasses for about 10 years and over the first 6-7 years of being examined, tested, and rushed through every eye appointment with Ophthalmologists and Optometrist so for years I put off getting my eyesight reexamined but with my vision declining as I get older, I took the time to do my research. Dr. Bob was highly regarded so I put my faith in him. He did NOT disappoint. My 7 year old son had redness in one of his eyes for about a week and it wasn't going away. I called the office and Dr. Rothbard and his staff got us in on the same day! Dr. Rothbard noticed he had an infection and dandruff on his eyelids. He prescribed medicine eyedrops and wipes for the eyelid and when we went back 2 days later for a follow-up, everything was completely cleared up!! I've been seeing Dr. Bob for my optometry needs for a few years now. When I first went in, it was due to all the amazing Yelp reviews. Every doctor I'd seen hadn't been able to get my glasses prescription right and contacts had always bothered me. Dr. Bob gave me the most perfect prescription I've ever had and he was so quick to get it right! I also got contacts which were the most comfortable I've ever had. Fast forward to now, I woke up with horrible eye pain this week and could barely open my eye. When I called Dr. Bob's office, he and his team made sure to get me in the same day. As it turns out, I had a corneal ulcer which requires immediate treatment. Dr. Bob prescribed me exactly what I needed and 4 days later we are almost at a full recovery. This is a doctor who loves what he does and genuinely cares about his patients. He didn't just treat me one day and send me home to recover. He continued to see me 4 days in a row to ensure I was healing properly, and we have another visit scheduled next week. His staff is always so friendly and polite, and when you walk in it feels like one big family. The service you get here is top notch, and you won't find anything better elsewhere! read more

There are some places that you are thankful to have found and this is definitely one of them. Not only does the Doc take good care of you but the staff there is warm and welcoming. Recently, I had eyelashes put on and had a reaction. I was totally freaking out, thinking that my site was going to be blurred forever. They saw me the same day I called, and they took good care of me. He saw me the next day and followed up two days after that. I felt blessed to have had that service because I was really concerned. It pains me to only give this office 2 stars. The Dr. and staff are super friendly, but they are incredibly slow with their services. The office does not have any trial contact lenses in stock, so if you go in to try a new prescription or a new lens, it takes TWO weeks for them to order them and for the contacts to come in. I find it hard to believe that it really takes TWO weeks for anything to be shipped nowadays. I think they quote you that time and it gives them time to take their time ordering your lenses and calling you when they are in. I had to be the one to call in and get status on my lenses because it had been over two weeks since the time quoted. The problem with this is that if you are not happy with your lenses or the prescription needs to be changed, you have to wait ANOTHER two weeks for new lenses to be ordered for you to try out. Not an efficient way to do business. read more
