It was around 25 years old and it was leaking in multiple places. I had a quote within 2 days. Was on the schedule within 5 weeks. And the work was completed in a day. Full removal of the old roof, repairs to the leaking parts of the house, and the new roof installed. I couldn't get a solid count but it seemed like 15 workers. 12 on the roof and 3 folks managing the everything not on the roof. Started at 8am and done by 6pm. It was a thing of beauty. No leftover messes anywhere. The valley's were braided together in a way to prevent water from gathering. Much better than the way they were initially laid. I'd have no qualms about recommending Ed's to anyone looking for roofing work!

He informed the owner who sent out the installer within a weeks time and replaced the damaged gutter. Most companies would have told me Im on my own, but both the Company, Owner, and his employees show alot of care and compassion, and I wasn't billed for additional work. They will get more of my business in the future, and I'll make sure they are added to the reputable contractors list at LMCH.

An hour later, Jordan and Joel showed up at my door, found the leak around one of the flashings and sealed it on the spot! (No need for a tarp!) I'm grateful for the promptness and professional work of HOMEMASTERS. (Joel even vacuumed where some ceiling insulation fell into my living space during the attic inspection!) He was able to find the issue within 10 minutes and sealed off the area in 20 min. He found there were other areas on our roof that could use some preventative care. He later supplied a reasonable quote and offered to come back the following morning. We had other options but knew we would go with him. The job was finished the next day in about an hr. Leak is gone, and roof is further reinforced. The weather this week in particular has been a cold, windy, and wet one. There was even a light dusting of snow the night before Victor came to work on our roof. We appreciated his proactiveness, and friendly demeanor in our situation. Update following the company's response:…read more I want to clarify one point raised in the owner's reply so readers understand the concern accurately. Yes, I mentioned that I would prefer the panels be placed on the rear of the home if possible. That was simply an aesthetic preference and not a design requirement. I relied on the company's expertise to determine whether that placement would still allow the system to reasonably meet the goals discussed during the sales process. I also want to be clear that the system functioning is not the issue. We appear to agree that the equipment is producing energy as designed. The production numbers themselves have never been what I questioned. The concern I raised relates to how the system size and expectations were presented during the sales process. When we explored going solar, the conversations centered around offsetting most or all of our electric bill, which was the primary reason we decided to move forward with a $20,000 installation. If it had been clearly communicated that the system was intended to be a smaller "starter system" that would only offset a portion of our electricity usage, we likely would have approached the decision differently or waited until we had a longer utility history available. Another important point is that no written proposal or modeling documentation outlining the assumed household usage or projected offset was ever provided prior to signing. Because those design assumptions were never shared with us in writing, it has been difficult to understand how the system size was determined relative to our expected energy needs. As a result, we are now paying a monthly solar loan while still carrying a meaningful electric bill, which is not the outcome we understood or expected when making this investment. At this point, I have shared my experience and clarified the concerns raised. I do not intend to continue a public back-and-forth discussion on this review. My purpose in posting this update is simply to provide context so other homeowners researching solar know to request clear written modeling and offset assumptions before making a significant investment.

I asked Jobin roofing to come give an evaluation and estimate for our roof. Brendan, the owner came out and did a full inspection inside and out. He took photos and his feedback, much to my surprise, is that our roof still has several years of life in it. He showed me the photos showing a few places where some of the shingles had begun to split but over all, the roof was in good shape. Additionally, he also pointed out a repair needed on the front of the house on one of the horizontal beams. Without his feedback, I would never noticed the damage. Along the side of our garage the gutter is sagging and he said there are now new ways to re-secure the gutter instead of replacement. I highly recommend his company and will certainly call upon him to replace the roof when it is time. Very grateful for his help. read more

I don't know what to say if you don't hire Jobin Roofing. I've gotten to know Brendan, the owner, over the last six months, and he is true to his word! He and his team are very responsive to texts, and if you have any questions, you will get a response quickly. Jobin Roofing put a new roof on my mom's house. They ordered plywood to lay down because they could not see what was under the old metal roof. It turns out they didn't need it, so they credited my mom's bill for the unused plywood. He is also a philanthropist who donates to local food banks, little league, and people in need. You've got an honest, caring roofing company, and I recommend him to everybody I know. read more

Unbelievably awesome. Highly recommend. We had a leak from a solar tube. Casey was scheduled to come out the following day at noon. 1.5 hours before he was to arrive, we asked if he could come earlier - knowing it was a big ask. His response? "Sure! I'll be there in 20 minutes if that works for you." He ended up patching up the leak with a temporary fix while he waited for the CUSTOM ORDER solar tube cover to come in and installed it THE SAME DAY IT ARRIVED! Casey is a roofing angel. Jobin Roofing is locally owned and ready to serve. On short notice they were able to come out and clean our roof and do a pre inspection. They addressed some of the concerns on the spot and gave us a timely and reasonable quote to fix items noted. I'm not sure how this company has 5 star reviews as my experience with J&J Roofing was terrible…read more February 2026, we discovered significant mold in our attic space. Our roof was brand new when we bought it (2019) and to discover ventilation issues inside our attic was a surprise no-one wants. We reached out to multiple roofing companies and we selected J&J Roofing because they promised everything the other companies offered but for about 15% less... or so they claimed. We needed to have an entire reroof which included one layer of plywood to be removed, this is the layer that had the mold. On the quote they said it would cost more IF there were two layers but it was obvious there was only one. Plus the other 4 companies that quoted us said there was only one layer. Also, they almost left the entire layer of molded plywood on. Thankfully my husband was home to catch this serious error which defeated the whole point of why we were reroofing our house in the first place. Then to add insult they tried to charge us at the end for 2 layers. We had to dispute this and they tried to make it seem like they were doing us a favor. Ironically, another roofing company that had quoted us included photos and video which proofed we only had one layer. The quote presented was DECEIVING as when we got the actual bill (after the work was done) it was significantly more than the quote. On some line items it had the tax included, however, they made it seem taxes were included in the quote only to find out that was not that case. This is how they make it seem that they're less than competitors. Here is where the real problems begin. Day of demo the team arrives and are extremely quick about tearing our roof off. However their speed caused A LOT OF DAMAGE. When they tore off the fascia it ripped the underside of the exterior under hangs. See pics. In addition they left significant gaps from the fascia they replaced which is an invitation for bugs and small animals to get inside. An issue we didn't have before. On demo day I watched them cause this damage and although we were told we would have a project manager onsite during the reroof this was not true. The PM was 90% of the time NOT on site. In addition when he came and had the fascia boards they were a cream color. They were supposed to be white. To my face this man lied to me and said they don't come in white. I rushed and got my paint sprayer while my husband ran and got white exterior paint. We quickly got the fascia boards painted and thankfully it was a clear sunny day so it was dried in time for the crew to put up. We also noticed when the roof was off that some of the boards framing our roof were rotted. I asked a crew member as the PM wasn't there if they were going to replace them and they told me yes. Another lie. As they started putting the plywood on, my husband and I noticed the rotted wood was still there and that they "sister-boarded" a new piece of cut wood. I had to call the manager Courtney to come as at this point, my confidence in the crew was gone. They left broken screens and a bunch of nails and screws all around our property. In addition to garbage from the roof packaging. Lastly the PM never came when the work was done to identify areas that needed to be fixed. See pics. We had to call J&J to get someone out and look at all the poor workmanship their crew left. Then they tried to make it seem like it was like that before but it was obvious the damage was caused by their crew. I regret choosing J&J and do not recommend.

They were having a February special which enabled us to get $1,000 off and we jumped on that deal. With the $1,000 savings we were able to get the upgraded roof option that received fantastic reviews online. Working with Courtney at the office to get us scheduled was a breeze. She asked what color roof we wanted, and since it was difficult to make that decision just by looking a photos, Brandon came back out with a couple of color samples that day so we could see what they looked like up against our house. The J&J crew came out the following Friday morning and completed our roof in ONE DAY. Granted, our roof was probably more simplistic than some others, but we were blown away by how quickly they completed it, and they did a fantastic job. Our new roof looks wonderful! Before they started working, they covered everything that was close to the roof, and they cleaned up impeccably before they left. I was thrilled to have found a woman-owned roofing company that had such fabulous reviews on Yelp, and I'm happy to add one more. I highly recommend J&J Roofing if you need a roof replacement.

Based on that experience, hired them to fix a gutter slope issue (full replacement) as well as replace a skylight which was leaking subsequent their roofing work (they did not take responsibility for it even though I think they should have minimally flagged it as an issue). Skylight and gutter replacement workmanship both had issues and had to be redone/reworked (they spotted the skylight issue, I spotted the gutter issues--thankfully it rained shortly after so I was able to spot the problems early). I paid them in April and called explicitly in July to verify the payment status when I spotted an irregularity in my account balance. I asked them to confirm that they had received the check, that it had cleared, and that the account was settled. They confirmed that it was, and I asked if they were sure and they said they were. Fast forward to October and now they've reached out to say that the account is no longer settled, the check was never deposited, and they're asking for payment again. At this point there is no budget for this, as I was assured this was resolved and cleared months ago. Really disappointed.

I live…read moreout of state, so I hired a 3rd Party to do roofing inspections to make sure everything was completed satisfactorily. The inspector found several items that needed to be fixed, and Lucas agreed, commented about how good of an inspection it was, and promptly fixed the issues. We were satisfied. Now several months later I asked for an estimate on having gutters replaced. I provided the tenants information and we scheduled the estimate. Lucas never showed up, never called, and now I've called and text him 8+ times without a call back. The best I've gotten is a text saying "I'll call you back" Completely disappointed in his lack of communication and customer service.

Pricing of the project was very reasonable; I think it was the second-lowest quote we got, but Sawtooth's materials and warranty were better. Jose and his crew did a great job. During the job, every day's end-of-day cleanup was great. The end result looks beautiful, and we're very happy with the way everything went. The high end materials and awesome warranty also add to the satisfaction of a job well done. One hiccup: 2 fascia boards with some minor dry-rot at their ends were supposed to be replaced before the installation of new gutters (new gutters were part of the project). Somehow that fell through the cracks, and the gutters went up over the 2 boards. Darrin quickly took ownership of the issue, and did a great job of repairing/rebuilding the corner where the problem was. Very satisfied with the response to the issue! Suggestion to Sawtooth: if new gutters are in the project, they need to be included in the project scope all the way to the end. That includes final inspection and invoicing. The QA inspection by Nick should have been done AFTER the gutters were installed, not before. The inspection should include both the roof and the gutters, not just the roof. The final invoice should be emailed AFTER the gutters are installed, and all issues are settled.

I called David and literally within 55 minutes he was at the house and repaired the damage AT NO COST (the roof was installed to withstand 110 mph winds). Frankly, I am beyond impressed with this Company. Many homes in my area had damage due to the storm ... none of them received this level of service.
