Honest about my needs being outside their core competency and making a solid recommendation to someone who can.

I owe DaBella an apology! Turns out that the guy from the mold mitigation company who came out to…read moreinspect the attic was trying to make a sell. We had three other professionals come in and all of them confirmed that the roof was put on perfectly and has more than enough ventilation, and their mitigation estimates were less than half of what that first guy was telling us it would cost! We called DaBella back and they sent out their QA guy, James, who spent more time in my attic than all the others combined to make sure the ventilation was sufficient. I am not too proud to admit that I was wrong about DaBella and that I learned a valuable lesson about not just running with the first opinion you get. Thank you, DaBella, Specifically Lindsay and James, for being patient with our frustrations and acting quickly! We were able to get the more accurate information to our buyers and they decided not to bail on us!

Very bad, albeit hilarious, sales experience with Da Bella…read more Very pushy sales tactics, bordering on confrontational, and all over the map pricing. First it was $39k, I say no, they come back 30 min later, "oh wait, now it's $23k" Am i bargaining for a tourist trinket on a tropical vacation? Does this work on other people? Night and day difference with the smaller family companies I've met since who are seasoned, professional, deeply knowledgeable, and give accurate pricing for the job. Oh and then there is the constant sales follow ups from the Texas office? Three times a day from various people trying to sell me windows, doors, siding, etc Comedy I've said im not interested and they keep calling I'm not even mad, it's truly hilarious how bad the Da Bella sales process is. It obviously works on people or they wouldn't be in business, but goodness Laugh out loud experience with Da Bella. And everyone I've met just talks so much crap on these guys too. The jokes write themselves

Anthony has been my "go to" for years now, ever since 2023 shortly after I purchased my home. I've…read morereviewed on Google but I should have posted here as well. I've had him do all sorts of work and repairs on my house over the years, ranging from simple drywall and painting repairs, fixture installations all the way up to a ~$20k kitchenette. He's a licensed subcontractor as well, so I've even had electrical and plumbing done *also* at a competitive rate (subcontracted separately as well as part of kitchenette work). This works out well for me considering he'll help oversee it, time it such that he'll also do the repairs shortly after any holes need to be made. With any and all work he does, he offers not only great solutions (better than some dedicated specialist contractors) but also better-quality results, done holistically. It's hard-earned praise. I've worked directly with various plumbers, various electricians and also had him do some other work as well as subcontract out what was needed. These days I've learned to bounce my ideas off of him first before going out and getting a specialist first.

I texted him before the holidays to be sure he was still in the business and I received an immediate reply- we set up the task and appointment and he arrived right at the appointed time with the product I requested. I trust his suggestions about the product and placement. He installed the system, showed me how to use it, and answered questions. He is professional, friendly, and as a bonus I asked him about a non functioning doorknob on our bathroom door and he is looking into a replacement. The price for my project was reasonable and I am very happy with the new system and the prospect of a functioning doorknob! I highly recommend Anthony- he is an Honest Handyman!

This is the first time we've ever bought a new home, so we come to this with perhaps different…read moreexpectations than others but I'm a third time home-buyer. We were not in a hurry to move in as we were still living in our old home and didn't have the pressure of having a solid deadline on our home. We didn't put our old home up for sale until our old home was 30 days from completion. We pretty much bought every upgrade option for the house except the backyard, which we did ourselves. Unfortunately, we came in late on the build and the white cabinets weren't an option to us anymore, but I think it worked out better in the end. We're really happy with our home. I think our first year was smooth because we had a good inspector and he really was thorough on the inspection and did a great initial inspection and had Sage address minor issues before we moved into the home as well as address minor issues at our one year mark. I can't think of anything Sage didn't address or correct that we didn't point out. Months after we moved in, the ground was not drying out on the side of our home and was still soggy. We called them, they looked at it and installed a French drain and all was good. We're coming up on two years in the home and we're finally done with all our warranty work, but that has more to do with schedules not working out and issues with our floor which was eventually resolved to our great satisfaction. We lived with minor issues in the house for the first year knowing they'd be fixed on the 1 year warranty and they fixed everything. I can't think of anything they didn't fix. Marco, Keaton and Yasmin were always great to work with. I can't say enough great things about Marco and how friendly and professional he is. There were some mix-ups where people showed up to fix issues and we weren't expecting them to, so make sure to be clear on when people are supposed to be showing up to your house (but communication goes both ways, so do your part). It's better than people not showing up at all, which never happened. There were three emergency issues where they had a technician out immediately to fix the issue, so we were never inconvenienced more than maybe a half a day. All issues were plumbing related. Our furnace failed on final inspection and they had it serviced and fixed right away. Our home was built during the peak of the wettest winter in decades and we had no mold issues on our one year inspection and our crawlspace was good to go.

Sage is the preferred construction/remodeling company for my Landlord's property management…read morecompany. Any work that needs to be done on our old apartment complex is done by Sage. It looks like the work is decent, but there is zero sensitivity to the fact that people live where they are working. For example, every apartment has a small patio. They are in the process of tearing all of these patios off and putting new ones on. The building is three stories high. There are three sets of patios, first, second, and third floor, above each other, in the building. Sage completed the first three patios a couple of weeks ago, and the second set of patios over a week ago they just started the third set, although no one seems to be working yesterday or today. Although work on the first six patios is complete, they are not available for tenant use! Sage left large pieces of plywood nailed over the glass sliding doors to the Patios. Sage doesn't seem to care whether tenants have access to their patios or how long they have patio furniture and plants piled in their living rooms. When we look at the newly restored decks, we see that there are some spots that have been primed in anticipation of painting. We're guessing that it is more convenient for Sage to make all tenants wait while Sage finishes all nine patios before they bring a "painting specialist" in to touch up the primed spots. tenants are deprived of the use of their patios for an unnecessarily long time, because that's what's good for Sage. Why don't they completely finish each deck, including touching up those primed spots, and return it to the tenant before they move on to the next ones?
