There was only three employees working and they must have gotten a rush of orders because when we stopped in, it took almost 10 minutes for someone to greet us and take our order. So the place itself is beautiful. Nice ambiance. And I am sure that the people who work there are generally good natured as well. My issue arose when I had the audacity to try to modify an order. The whole place fell apart. Instead of ordering a regular oat milk latte, I asked them to sub the expresso for 2 breakfast tea bags. This is an extremely common order at coffee shops. People call this drink a London Fog, or a tea latte. It's literally just steamed milk and tea bags. No one on staff could handle the order. Their only solution was try to charge me $14 for the modification. I guess they have this policy that they have to rigidly follow the menu. And that just didn't feel like a crazy ask, but they absolutely refused to help me, unless I paid $14. And they also refused to take my reusable cup, so I would have to waste a paper cup and a plastic lid. Not sustainable. Great new addition to this side of the beach! They primarily offer juices and shakes, some coffee options, and a short list of sandwiches. My friend opted for the ginger latte & the tunacado sandwich that she seemed to really enjoy. Can't quite remember the name of the juice I tried, but it had red bell pepper, apple, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, and I opted to add some habanero peppers to spice things up. Delicious drink that really helped to clear my sinuses. Great decor and a wonderful spot. The only downside is the higher prices, but pretty consistent with SoBe prices so can't really complain. read more

It all started with a friendly hello and a "what's your name?" to end up with teenagers flirting behind the counter or holding loud conversations between them while customers wait twice as much for a cup of carelessly fixed coffee as they would elsewhere. NASTY!!! First time I went to the store, they had a living Siamese fighting fish in a tiny bowl stuffed with artificially colored props on their counter. As the fish looked like it was about to die, I talked to the staff about it and they seriously tried to lecture me and said I wasn't an "animal expert". I messaged the management and told them i'd inform PETA and the Department of Health if they wouldn't take care of this poor animal immediately. They did and the bowl was gone the next day, however they never got back to me about what happened to the fish so chances are they just flushed it down the toilet. Second time I went to the store, I noticed something slippery on the floor. When I looked down, I realized there were two pieces of DOG SHIT INSIDE THE STORE and I had just stepped into one!!! Somone else must have stepped in it before as the shit was already smeared over other parts of the store. I didn't even start a discussion with the staff and just left. I messaged the management again but they never got back to me. He explained that the staff were still in training and I gladly accepted the offer, received the refund, and revisited the store to get two more cappuccinos. They were again delicious and, on average, I'd give this place three stars (1 star and 5 stars). It a fan of fast casual coffee shop food in general, so I wasn't too enthused to try any of the fresh made options which were priced about the same as the sandwiches at Starbucks. Their flat white was good and very light in texture (I am not a coffee person but I always order the same thing wherever I go) it's also cheaper than Starbucks and the same or slightly larger in size BUT... it took a long time considering the fact that the place was not busy... I really hate when cafes display OLD and stale pastries... I'd rather you not serve croissants at all than to sell old ones. I would really expect more from a company based in Europe(!) Also they didn't even bother to warm the croissant (fresh croissants don't really need to be warmed) and when they did it was barely warm which made it that much more annoying. The decor and ambiance is nice - definitely feels like a place to stay and lounge versus leaving as I normally feel at Starbucks. This is a very cool spot kinda juice version of a coffee shop. Cool music and healthy drinks while you can quietest work on your computer in comfortable chairs. However I would appreciate some healthy food options. They offer sandwiches but if you don't eat bread it is kinda hard. Also the acai bowl options are made smoothly and are liquid. They even put a granola in it and liquify it after. I mean, why would you put granola and then destroy it? The whole point of granola is the crunchiness that it adds to the bowl. I could spend the whole day there working if I would have some solid healthy food options like salad or at least a wrap. I want to savor in sip after delicious sip of Joe's Green Mile or HeartBeet and enjoy being blissfully ignorant of the Hamilton that left my pocket to get me to that state of mind. This was honestly the worst açaí bowl I've ever had. I'm not sure if you can even call it an açaí since it looked and tasted like yogurt. Before I got the açaí I thought the price was fair since $8 is usually what açaí bowls go for. Then I received my bowl. It tasted like nothing(besides the granola, that was pretty decent) and it was a really light pink. I really think it was extremely overpriced for the shitty product.
