Our furnace blower stopped working. We called another company who had previously serviced our A/C to come fix it. The technician was limited in what he knew and could do. He replaced the blower but the only way for us to run the furnace was to turn on the blower at the thermostat AND at the furnace. The technician said we needed to replace the furnace and said he didn't have the part to finish the repair. We waited for two weeks or more to hear back from the technician. In the meantime, we called Joe Behr. Matt Behr later came to our house and assessed the situation, agreed with the repair but said the furnace, although 29 years old, was not looking like it needed to be replaced. He gave us a price for the complete repair, which was $200 less than the first technician's price. After getting two prices for the furnace's replacement, we decided to have Matt come back to our house and complete the repair. He finished the repair within 30 minutes and our furnace has worked great since! We are very pleased with the promptness of service and reasonable price. read more

My mom's out of town for a bit, and I checked on her house and found one of the three zones cold (it's a 50 year old hot water boiler system). When I called, Mike Behr took over the call and walked me through what I could do to override the bad zone valve until they could arrive. I appreciated their sense of urgency for a hot water system since of the burst pipe potential. The tech was great -- communicative and on-time, he diagnosed the issue, got the part -- installed quickly, tested...and I can attest it's worked now for two months. Great job! read more

I had Behr replace my oil furnace with a propane furnace. Lennox furnace is great. Behr's technicians not so much. They covered the hole in my chimney that the exhaust system connected to with a piece of glorified aluminum foil. Needless to say that didn't last long. Their work-place clean up was non existent. I lost hot water and called two other businesses who could not make a service call for over a week. Behr Plumbing responded in less than 24 hours. The service technician was very knowledgable and efficient, and I had hot water within an hour of his service call. He was very courteous and the price was reasonable.
