Lily ensures that your special moments are captured and given back to you in the highest of quality at a great price. Her photos are amazing-just take a look at her website! It was during our newborn photo session that I really got to see all sides of her photography and personality. First, her studio is amazing. She has so many options for props, backgrounds and outfits. I felt like we were at a Hollywood photo studio for babies. You don't have to bring any outfis. She has everything. Second, she handles babies with the utmost care. My baby was a bit fussy and didn't really want to take pictures. Lily automatically took control of soothing and comforting my daughter. She was not rushing my baby to calm down. She took her time and made sure that my daughter was at ease. She has such a warm spirit and definitely a mother's touch. He did not disappoint! My best advice would be to trust him and his skills as a photographer implicitly. 1. He gives plenty of direction in terms of body placement, posture, hand placement, etc. to give you flawless photos. If you are new to being photographed like me, you'll find this kind of direction extremely helpful and comforting. 2. At the same time, he creates a very calm, light, and fun atmosphere that creates true, genuine moments between you and your significant other. We are two people that usually feel very uncomfortable in front of a camera, however we had such an enjoyable experience with Allen. 3. I really encourage anyone using Allen's services to listen to his recommendations. For example, our original scheduled date was cloudy and overcast. He recommended that we wait for sun if we truly wanted to be happy with our photos. We are so grateful to have listened to him, because the results were wonderful (see attached). There are other photographers that will say that cloudy weather is actually better, however with Allen's technique and skill set, he can do incredible things with the light. We received our wedding photos just a few days ago and I just can't get over how talented these guys are! It's absolutely incredible how they are able to capture emotion. Joe, his wife (Stephanie), and his dad (Mark) are not only beyond talented, but so easy to work with! I can't even tell you how many times at my wedding someone would suggest we pose for a picture and I'd turn around to find Joe...and there he was standing right behind me! Having the paparazzi follow you around for 2 days could be annoying, but you don't even realize Joe is there. From the moment that I saw Sesha's website, I fell in love with her style and knew that I wanted her as my photographer. She, and Convey as a whole, were more than a wedding vendor; they were my friends during my wedding season. Although the months leading up to the wedding were stressful, I knew that of all my vendors, Sesha was the one person who would come through on the big day and she proved me right in the end. Sesha, Diego, and Matt were so easy to work with and were very flexible with last minute changes on the day of our wedding. Their calm, reassuring, and positive attitudes were a huge benefit to us, especially for a stressed out bride like myself. It's hard finding a wedding vendor that is both professional and fun to work with, but Convey Studios is exactly that! Even after the wedding, working with them to create our videos and albums was a seamless process. My husband and I were married on October 2nd, and Sesha just sent me the link to our completed…read morephotos last night. Pretty good turn around, right? (She had even sent us about 2 dozen teaser photos the week before to download and share as we like). I found Sesha while searching on the Knot. I knew I wanted to find a great photographer for out wedding, but also someone who was affordable--my husband and I paid for everything for our wedding, and we had just had our 2nd child months before--so we couldn't afford to overspend. Sesha is very affordable. We met up a few months before the wedding so that I could look over some more of her work (the website had a lot of great examples too) and see if she was a good fit for us. My husband and I are very outgoing people, and he's known for being the loudest person in the room. I wanted someone who could capture this, as well as capture special moments with out family. Sesha herself is very outgoing and has a true passion for what she does--it's apparent the moment you meet her! She has lots of creative ideas for posing, and if you are interested in doing a photo corner for your wedding, she can help you with that too! (we opted not to do that, because the me as the DIY bride totally overextended myself, but she definitely made it easy had we chosen to do it) She touched base with me several times between the booking date an wedding date, and shared her own tips from when she was getting married, which just shows how thoughtful she is. Wedding Day was great. She arrived early to take photos before the ceremony as i requested, and took amazing photos of my two little girls during that time. Ceremony photos were great--she was able to capture many candid moments (like when my bridesmaid dropped the grooms ring :) ) and took the time to make sure the photos that I wanted were taken. I especially wanted photos of the families together , and candids of them with our kids--all of our family is from out of town/out of state, so it's rare for us to get together. I could not have imagined how nice the photos she took turned out! There are so many great shots of my kids with their grandparents, aunts, and of course, me and my husband. I absolutely cannot wait to share them with everyone. She also had great ideas for our wedding party photos during the cocktail hour. She was able to capture our reactions to each other, and framed some gorgeous shots outside of the venue. Sesha makes sure your day runs how YOU want it to--if you want things to move quickly so you can get to the party (which is what we wanted) she can do that. If you want more time for framed shots (like when we did family photos) she can go that route as well. My only regret? That I didn't find Sesha early enough to do our engagement photos. Seriously, she was a blast to work with.
