I would advise if any claim adjuster recommends this place for repairs that you avoid them at all costs. 9weeks after completing collision work on my vehicle I found out my skid plate was installed incorrectly resulting in the bottom of my car catching on a stopper and the front of the bumper was damaged. We took the vehicle back to Joe Hudson and after looking under the vehicle realized not only did they improperly install the skid plate, but clips were missing from when the vehicle was reassembled. Upon reviewing the issue, Courtney, the shop manager advised she would forward the information to insurance and place a follow up call later that day. Needless to say we did not hear from Courtney and I had to call the insurance adjuster myself. Right now we are in the middle of this vehicle repair nightmare and I'm not trusting that the shop will be honorable and correct what they did not fix properly in the first place.
Follow up to response: Joe, thank you for the follow up. The external damage is a result of an improperly installed skid plate, so it would reflect additional damage after coming into contact with a parking lot stopper. To say that the insurance company who recommended your sub standard work agrees with your findings is less than true. GEICO did not request an independent assessment and the goal of an insurance company is not to spend more money. Additionally, GEICO is the carrier of the individual who hit me. Even more reason why they would recommend a shop that would complete the work for cheap regardless, of labor or materials. As a result of the shoddy work I received I will be out of pocket more money versus not allowing your facility to have touched my vehicle at all. Furthermore, I received nothing but the run around from your facility so while you stand by your work I did not have this issue with my vehicle prior to Joe Hudson. Lastly, I have not heard directly from your office other than then the email received with a copy of the pictures and no context. read more
