I needed some bodywork on my Mustang and I researched body shops and drove by a few. The first thing I noticed was the professional manner that the shop was in. It was clean, organized and it provided me with the feeling that they on top of their game. I spoke with Robert who was my estimator and I saw he was doing his best to work with me and give me the best price possible since I was paying out of pocket for the work. I decided to give Joe Hudson's the job and the work was on time, within the estimated budget and the quality of the work was professional and flawless. I have friends who work for the dealership that I bought my car from and remarked on the quality of the work and the paint match. They also felt that the price was very fair. I have to say I was shocked when I received a call from Robert who advised me that he had some good news for me. Apparently the company does an audit of their pricing and they were going to send me a two hundred and something dollar refund that that they felt was due me to over estimating the charge for the work they did. I really was totally surprised that they would blind call me to let me know they were sending me money! That is true honesty and customer appreciation! I would give these guys 4 1/2 stars out of five. They did a great job in putting my 2007 Acura back together after a minor fender bender. They kept me informed all throughout the process with updates. They even cleaned the leather on the inside and washed the car for delivery. It looks like almost a new car. I bought a 2023 Honda Odyssey and was completely ecstatic. My new baby was less then a week old when someone hit my car in a parking lot! There was quite a bit of damage to the rear/tailgate. I had no idea where to bring my car for repair. I was referred to Joe Hudson's in Palm Harbor by a dear friend who works for a car dealership. The first person I delt with was Mark. I made an appointment with him to look at my car and review the estimate my insurance company gave me. At that meeting I scheduled the date I was going to drop my car off for the repairs. October 17th at 9am I met with Mark and dropped off my car. Honestly, I'm a pain in the butt customer. I admit it.. lol I like to be kept informed of everything and I expect excellent service. Mark was great. He kept me informed daily and made me feel at ease. The car was ready as promised. When I arrived to pickup my car I was told Mark was out of work due to a death in his family. (My condolences to Mark.) James whom I met at the original meeting assisted me. I looked over my car and was unhappy with part of the repair. James looked at the car with the body shop repair man (sorry I didn't get his name) and I. We agreed I'd leave my car over night for them to work on. I was very upset. Like I said I'm a demanding customer. I don't like it when thing don't go as planned. The next morning James called me and said he thought about my concern and had an idea. He had the body shop repair man make the adjustment and he asked me to come look at the car and see what I thought. I arrived to find my car was PERFECT! Not acceptable, not good- PERFECT! :) I was SO very happy! It was James that made this such a pleasant experience. He listened politely to my concern and took care in finding a solution that I was happy with! Thank You James! I can't forget to mention Chris the office associate. Everyday when I called to ask for a progress report on the repair I spoke to her. Always so friendly and never made me feel like I was anything but a valued customer. Can't thank Joe Hudson's enough! We had some scratches on our rental car and weren't sure if they could be buffed out or needed to be painted. We first took the car to Carsmetics, and they said they would need to replace and paint the whole panel. We then stopped into Joe Hudson's, and they told us they were booked two weeks out but could take a look and just let us know if it required a buff or paint job. The guy took a look, came back with lacquer thinner, and wiped most of it away in 30 seconds. No charge! This is what good, reliable service is all about. Thank you, Joe Hudson's! read more

Bad service. Bad follow through. Doesn't listen to customers requests. Find a different shop unless you want to wait a very long period to get your vehicle back. This place did not fix my body issues and I got a nail in my tire from this place. Don't even consider this place for even an estimate!!!! read more

Recommended to go see Car Guys Collision Repair to have a minor rub on my car repaired. They did a fabulous job. Quick turn around and it looks new!! Would I recommend? Absolutely!! Regular text messages on the status of your car was great, first it probably helped them with less phone calls asking how's it going, when will it be ready, etc... Staff is professional and courteous. Price everyone wants to know is it reasonable? Yes! They take insurance pay or customer pay. I like giving great reviews when the experience was superb. These guys are amazing!! The woman on the phone was very friendly when setting the appointment and I was able to get it in the next day for an estimate. When I got there for my appointment, I didn't have to wait! I needed an estimate for both front panels that were pushed back and rubbing the doors. The drivers door would open but it rubbed the 1/4 panel, the passenger door wouldn't open at all. I told the gentleman that I just wanted my doors to open and not rub. He asked if I had 20 minutes and he can see what they can do. Within 10 minutes, the car was fixed!! I was totally amazed that they would (not could because I knew they could fix it) fix it on the spot. Thank you so much to the awesome staff at Car Guys Collision in Palm Harbor. I always come to Joe Hudson's to have my car repaired. The first time I was here I booked an appointment because they had the lowest estimate. But since then I've had several repairs done here and haven't even gotten additional estimates. Because of my past experiences here I don't even get competitive quotes anywhere else as I know they will be fair and their work is excellent. Being in an accident is not fun nor something you can plan for! Car guys made it so easy and were very considerate. There wasn't any openings when I needed my car to go in so I scheduled it for a time I wasn't going to be in town and was going to have my mom take the car and etc. Car guys called me a day or two later and remembered my special situation and told me that they had a cancellation and that I could come in at that time. I was very surprised they took this much consideration. The work was done very nice. There was one spot that just was missed and I stopped by the next day and 5 mins later it was fixed! Guys- I haven't even gotten my car back from repairs yet- but let me tell you the customer service here is TOP OF THE LINE!! First, I couldn't get my car into the shop for repairs after my estimate because of my work travel schedule- once insurance paid them the money for the repairs, they called me every couple weeks to check in and try to schedule repairs. They could have easily just pocketed the money- but no, TOP OF THE LINE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Fast forward 2 months later when I'm finally home and get my car in- not only did they complete the work a day early, but as they were courtesy cleaning my car- the identified an issue with the latches on my doors, which after they researched turned out to be a recall from the car company. I kid you not, they took and picked up my car from the dealership to get the recall repaired! Everyone I have interacted with at this location has been so friendly and genuine. As someone who works in customer service, I appreciate that not only were they real people, that they went ABOVE AND BEYOND, to take care of their customers and make sure they are safe on the road. read more

Had our car repaired here after having a rear-end collision, and they did a great job. The car looked great and it was cleaned up real well. My only complaints is that there were a few left over parts left in the trunk area, and one of our storage compartments was not put back properly. Also the communications between the shop and us could have been better. But what we came here for was for the repair job, and for that, they met our expectations. Would recommend. read more
