    The perfect breakfast spot

Vacation means somebody else is cooking! Joe's is a one minute walk from our room. I got there at 7:15 and wasn't the first customer! I told Joel to show me the big sandwich. He pointed at The Beast! It's everything breakfast except biscuits and gravy! A delicious sandwich that I managed to devour. Coffee was fresh and bottomless. Drink up! Later that morning, when she finally got up, Glenda had a wonderful smoothie. Thanks Mointain Joe!

First and foremost, any place that has a hiking/outdoor theme is a must stop for me! The sign out front with the hiker symbol caught my attention and I knew it would be good. And I just love the historic cobblestone look to this little place. The inside seating area is small with about 5 tables. There are tables outside as well. It is made to order style where you walk in and place your order at the kiosk. The coffee is self serve so make sure to ask for a cup. The house blend was great! The gentleman working the morning we went was kind and cheery! Service was excellent! I had a waffle with sausage gravy and an egg. Delicious! It was like biscuits and gravy, but the waffle gave it a sweeter taste. My husband had a bagel sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese - it was great! 10/10 would eat here again!

This was the only option for breakfast is downtown Medicine Park today and we were pleasantly surprised. Relaxed atmosphere. Limited seating inside and out. Not super fast service but very friendly staff. I forget its name. But this is a fried egg with bacon, spinach, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles and balsamic vinegar on a wheat bagel. It was fantastic!

BEAST sammy: bacon, egg, piles of avocado, and spinach toasted on wheat. I skipped the tomatoes, added cheese

One of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The service is warm, friendly, and fast. The space is small, cozy, clean, and comfortable. The coffee is solid too. Highly recommend this spot ~ we will be back next time our travels take us to the magical Medicine Park.

Joe mountain is a quaint little restaurant in medicine park. The atmosphere is laid back. The servers were helpful and fast. The food was pretty good but the portions were small and the price was pretty high.

Waffles are awesome! The bleu cheese bagel is an excellent choice if you're adventurous about your food! Joel is a great host, cheerful and helpful. As noted in most reviews, indoor seating is limited, but it's such a chill atmosphere that things usually work out

    Blue Cheese Omelette

Cute little breakfast place across from our weekend rental in Medicine Park. Unusual options with waffles featured. The Baffle - biscuit dough in waffle form with cream gravy was very interesting and delicious. My blue cheese omelette was also outstanding. The owner was very friendly and took good care of us. We shall return for the sweet waffles next time.

I ordered the biscuit & gravy omelet (2 sides of biscuit and gravy) and my husband ordered the queso blanco burrito. We both enjoyed our meals. The name of mine was weird considering the name... it was a gravy omelet (no biscuit on the entree at all) I only took a star off because the biscuits were overcooked in my opinion. Our server was busy but he was zooming around and doing a lot! He was helpful and took good care of us.

I left a 6. tip, which was more than generous.. this transaction was May 14, 2025 11:18 AM.. the next day when I looked at my bank statement, $43.48 was ran on my card. I was by myself, like I am all the time. granted my waitress was newer. I was the only customer that she had in her section. cause she told me I was the only customer she had then. I said I've never seen you here before cause I go there all the time. she said she'd been there about two weeks . that day. don't understand how that happened. I know it was a new waitress. It's fine. I get it but that's a lot. I didn't complain when the waitress threw the toast at me when bringing to my table. she said it slipped. she said it slipped out of her hand and it butter on her glove or something and I got hit with toast. I didn't make a big deal out of it she was new but coupled with this payment on here that's more than I had on my day. I've never spent this much at Jimmy's eggs at single transaction ever. I've been coming here for a long time. Food was good. It was fast. It was hot exactly how I expect service was pretty good except for getting hit with the toast. I wasn't gonna even say anything about it but and then coupled with $43.43 when the meal was $18.74 and I left a 6.00 tip. I was just checking to see if i6 dollar tip cleared the bank. Tips cleared the next day usually takes days for tips to clear. for a lot more than I agreed to give her a tip. I don't know now that happened I know I was only a customer for this new waitress on May 14, 2025 Wednesday 11 18 a.m.. I was pretty surprised by that was . updated from one star to three star. they did refund for the meal. I was fine paying for the meal and 6 tip before.the waitress still got a $24..74 dollar tip. 18.74 more of a tip then I was giving. The extra $18.74 was that she got for the extra tip.it was the exact amount my meal got reimbursed. Thanks for the reimbursement.

Usually on our…read moredrives up to North Texas/Oklahoma, we like to stop at Braums, because we don't have that down in central Texas. But when we saw this place when we were walking around Medicine Park, we decided to forgo Braums, and try cobblestone instead. And it did not disappoint! Trying to understand their handwritten menu took me a little bit of time, but I eventually got it. Their flavors were mostly fruit flavors, but there were a couple of non-fruit flavors to choose from as well. Husband and I decided to try their three scoop combo, with graham crackers and chocolate chips on top, and their bourbon caramel sauce. The ice cream flavors we got were coconut, cheesecake, and I believe something with peanut butter in it. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about their coconut ice cream, because generally, I'm not the biggest fan of coconut ice cream, but I severely underestimated it. Their coconut flavor was probably my favorite one out of all of the flavors! For the three scoop combo, I believe we paid like six or seven something dollars. While that may seem steep to some, like I said, we live in Austin, Texas, and things are quite expensive there. At some places in Austin, one scoop can equal anywhere from 4 to 5 dollars. So when we saw THREE scoops for 1-2 more bucks? Shoot, that was a deal for us. They have little tables outside you can sit at. And it's right across from the lake which is lovely. We really enjoyed ourselves!
