It's not fun to find yourself in a position to post bail for a friend. But, these folks know how…read moreto helpfully guide you towards the outcome that will get someone you care about freed quickly. What I really liked: 1. Quick responses. When I called, they always answered by the second ring. 2. Nifty technology. Their SimplyBail web site made every step of the process clear, easy to fulfill, and trackable with status updates. 3. They do what they promise. From beginning to end, they always explained what they would do then they actually did those things. No bait and switch. Just good to their word. What was a little confusing: 1. Many, many names. They operate under different names in different areas of the Metroplex. This Yelp page is one name, they answer the phone in another, their web site is a third. But, they are all the same organization. Not sure why the different names exist. It worried me at first. 2. My case agent was certainly very knowledgeable, but we had a couple of miscued communications that were the only rough spots in the whole exchange. I will accept part of the blame since I was under stress and had never done any of this before. I hope my conversations with her will help her see how important patience and rephrasing things might come in handy in the future with other clients. But, she did do what was needed and for that, I am thankful!

Drove an hour and called ahead to confirm my refund, only to face unnecessary runarounds. I had…read morebeen bonded out of Clayton County and was already upset with how I was treated during the process. Adding to my frustration were the travel expenses I had to incur just to sort this out. Transportation isn't cheap, and folks often have to stretch their budgets to handle situations like this. After weeks of waiting, I still haven't received my refund. Despite having three forms of ID, including an expired passport with my dead name, updated IDs, and my name change documentation, she refused to release my check. I was left with no choice but to call the police. These kinds of games and tactics are oppressive, designed to weaponize bureaucracy against individuals. They send the message that people like me aren't entitled to what is rightfully ours, and they create unnecessary barriers for marginalized communities trying to reclaim their time and resources. "Iwish I had my refund before Thanksgiving, Black Friday, or even Cyber Monday. Now, I've missed out on getting a discounted TV or PS5--something I had been looking forward to. This is exactly why I stayed on top of my case; personal experiences have taught me to be proactive. I did nothing wrong and won't let anyone make me feel less than I am. I know my rights and refuse to accept being denied what is mine--my refund, which I should never have had to pay in the first place. I should not have been charged over 15%, and I deserved to be treated with the same respect as anyone else. Let's be honest: I should have been treated like a Caucasian person. From my record, it's clear I'm no flight risk, and this treatment was unnecessary and discriminatory. And all them extra fees I'm not looking forward too! Update: " Not LGBT-friendly. My class was dismissed, and I was never contacted about court. My lawyers had to handle it all ! They charged me $1,600 and was confirmed by the office I'd be refunded around $800, but after two months of back-and-forth and a nightmare trying to pick up my check an hour away, they ended up stealing $400. They refused to give me a breakdown of the fees. Don't waste your time--go with a trustworthy company. If you want this review removed, give me back the money you stole. It wasn't attorney fees--my lawyer is with the Georgia Justice Project, and they're the best!!!I have the court paperwork !! Lawrenceville location Stole my money 400 half of my collateral!!! ¡Groseros y racistas!

He has been living in Atlanta, Georgia for 5 years without any family members close by so we have a practice of checking in daily via text or FaceTime. After no one had heard from him in three days and his cell phone was going to voice mail I was concerned. I received a call from him on the third day and he informed me he was in jail and needed to be bonded out. Television show you post bail and you're out. This is not true. After a full day and night of trying to get Fulton County Sheriff office on the telephone I was advised I needed to work with a bail bonds company and gave me a web site which I found 19 bail bonds companies. THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING. BECAUSE I LIVE IN ILLINOIS THE FEW COMPANIES ON THE LIST THAT BOTHERED TO ANSWER THE PHONE (I don't do viocemail) refused to help me because ILLINOIS doesn't recognize bail bonds practice. My grandson's uncle lives in Indiana he spoke with several companies on the list and was advised he would need debit card plus more information than you would need if you were financing a house. FOUR NIGHTS IN JAIL and I haven't slept since I found out he was in there. Saturday morning 8 am I started on list again feeling hopeless. At 11:32 am I still started from the top of the list which was previously assigned to my daughter. 1st CHOICE BAIL BONDS COMPANY Raina answered 1st ring. I explained the situation and we worked through it from 11:32 am until 5:30 pm because I am included the text she sent me asking for me grandson's cell phone number. She didn't promise me that he would be out Saturday night but said if everything goes smoothly he should be released by noon Sunday. My cellphone rung at 9:20 pm with caller ID "Lil Mark" my 6 foot 4 grandson. He informed me he had been released and was on his way home. WHEN IT RAINA IT POURS OUT CUSTOMER SERVICE TALENT, PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, EMPHATY, GENUINE CARE AND FOLLOW THROUGH. My favorite quote which I truly believe is "Everything is in Divine Order " and working with 1st Choice Bail Bonds Company is proof.
