(I will be cross-posting this on several sites). TLDR at bottom…read more My experience with Climate Care has made me a customer for life. The AC stopped blowing cold air on Sunday night. Normally, we're the kind of people who try to fix most of our problems on our own before calling someone, but my husband was out of town for a business trip all week, and I didn't feel comfortable trying to diagnose things on my own. I knew I couldn't wait 6 days without AC. So I started doing research. The first guy I called gave me a long list of things that probably needed to be replaced, and gave me a quote of around $400. I gave him my concerns about him diagnosing the AC unit over the phone without even looking at it. He became very rude and told me he could give me an in person quote on Wednesday. I told him to make me an appointment for Wednesday and decided to keep looking around for other options. I'm pretty sure I called at least 15 other places. Several of them quoted me around the same price, or couldn't make it to look at the unit until several days later. I actually ended up finding Climate Care on complete accident while I was looking for a phone number to another place, and I truly believe that God was on my side that day. I was extremely annoyed by the time I called, and I know that was definitely heard over the phone but they were friendly with me the entire time, and he told me he could come look at my unit that day, within the next hour and a half if I was available and give me a quote based on what they found. My prayers had been answered. Brian (I think?) showed up when he was supposed to, and immediately started looking at my unit. Within 15 minutes, he had a diagnosis ready. When he came back he explained the problem to me in simple and matter-of-fact kind of way. I run into service guys all the time (especially in auto shops) who think that because you're a woman you just won't understand the situation, or you don't know what you're really looking for. I did not feel that way at all talking to the guy, and it was a serious breath of fresh air. I was more than prepared for him to tell me that I needed to replace this long list of parts and it was going to cost me over $400. He told me I only needed to replace one part, quoted me around $80 and had the problem fixed for me around 2 hours later. He even took a little bit of extra time to clean up around and inside the unit (at no extra cost to me). I was very pleased with my service and I'm convinced that my AC is working better now than it ever did. I will definitely call them first with any issue I have in the future. TLDR: Was quoted $400 and several days wait to get started on the work for the first company I called. I found Climate Care on accident, and have never been so well taken care of. They were extremely nice, and looked at my unit that day and gave me a quote of around $80. They went above and beyond to make sure my unit was working properly and even cleaned around and inside the unit to make sure that the AC was working 100%.

They called me the next day ( thurs)and told me that locke supply and Johnston didn't have the part. My husband drove to locke supply and purchased the part. ( you know the one that locke didn't have) Superhero came back out on Fri and spent 6 hours fixing our ac. He even called his supervisor out to help. When they left they told my husband a breaker was bad. My husband ended up changing out 3 breakers because changing the 1 they said didn't fix our unit so he tried the other 2. I called out a different company who came out and in less than an hour had my ac unit up and running. I was told by the new company that Superhero wired a wire wrong and was grounding out the unit.

Initially, when I reached out (a week in advance of needing the clean), the team seemed responsive and professional - sending confirmation the next day, and following up multiple times over the week to verify the service window. At the time I didn't notice the lack of questioning about: how many rooms I needed carpet cleaning for, the general size of the rooms, what the state of the carpets were, or what my budget was. They also did not give any advance indication of their price range. And, they never shared whether they would call or text in advance when a tech was on their way to us (for the record, they do, and that would have given us 5 hours back to our day had we known.) They have fantastic reviews, and appear to do great work, and I haven't needed carpet cleaning in quite some time, so I assumed they needed to get the dimensions and assess in person (this was verbally confirmed by the tech when they arrived - and the tech was very kind, thorough, and tried his best -- but we'll get back to that in a minute). Our service window confirmed via text and phone call at least three times, including the day before the planned service by the schedulers was 2-6. By 5:30, I had not received any indication of whether our service was going forward. I called to check in, knowing we had 30 minutes left in the window, but just wanting to verify the plan. Only then was I told the service was running late, now estimated to be a 6:30 arrival because "the property before you keeps requesting add ons." We opted to continue forward, now being told for the first time we would get a call when they were on the way. At this point, I was mildly frustrated, but understood work can run late. However, I was also confused why this prior property was not asked to schedule a follow up service rather than pushing everyone else back. By 6:25, we had not received a call, and I had a message drafted to follow up when I DID receive a call. A call to let me know the tech was on the way - but would be about 35-40 minutes. At this time, we had been waiting for 4.5 hours, having not been told we would have a 30 minute heads up to be back, and taking valuable time away from work, and additional necessary tasks. They offered to reschedule, but could not guarantee we would be first on the list, and leaving us to wonder if we would be waiting for 5 hours again. We proceeded, having asked how long the service would take - it was estimated to be an hour and we should be done by 8-8:30. This was the first time through all interactions I was asked how many rooms would be serviced. I expressed concern for the timeline, and disappointment at the lack of communication on the actual service date. No apology was offered, no solution other than continuing to wait, or to reschedule for another window, being offered. When he arrived, the tech was kind, fast, and professional. He answered my questions, and assisted me in looking at several service combinations. He was also able to verify that their policy for pricing is to evaluate the floors in person, and get the exact dimensions. Which is understandable, but would have been appreciated in advance. The first quote we were given, as was shared by another reviewer previously, was over $800 for 3 rooms with their closets, and 2, very short, hallways. One room has significant pet smells, but the rest do not. There was no furniture nor items to be moved, nor maneuvered around. The second quote, with highest tier treatments removed was still above $600. When I pushed for standard treatments, we were quoted around $400. I shared that was well above the cost I had anticipated, and was asked my budget. I said $300 max (which is still above average), and was eventually quoted $375, I asked to remove another option and it was reduced to $348. I asked if there were any coupons or specials, and THEN was informed of an option that would be close to that $350 including after environmental fees (not included in the original quotes). And finally, I inquired if it would be possible to do just an incredibly standard steam clean for the majority of the spaces, and only focusing on the more intense treatments for the one room that needed them. I was told that was not an option. Unfortunately, we were not able to proceed with the service. When I looked at our quote page, it was indicated we were originally scheduled to be seen at 4pm, and we did not have a tech until after 7. TL;DR we waited 5 hours for a tech to arrive, just to be given an aggregious quote of over $800, magically reduced to $348, and with poor communication starting when it mattered most.

A few Weeks ago my wife went down to the basement to put something down there. Now, our basement is…read morenot an area that we visit very frequently. I keep a lot of my guitars and amplifiers and keyboards down there, on the rare occasion I feel like being musical. So it had probably been a week or two since we last visited the basement. Now, basements in Oklahoma are very rare due to a very high water table. Knowing this, A sump pump was built in to the floor in the basement underneath the stairs. We have been in the house for just over a year, and never experienced any flooding, figuring sump pump was doing what it was supposed to be doing. Well, my wife was horrifically introduced to about 10 inches of water in the basement that Sunday morning. My wife screamed to me to find somebody, Anybody, to get over here ASAP to start getting the water out of our basement. I Quickly typed into my phone water damage, Yukon Oklahoma business. Luckily, SERVPRO of Western Oklahoma city was the first business to pop up. I immediately called the number, and got a hold of Chris Edmonds, The owner. I asked if they could come out that day and look at our horrific problem. Within two hours of the call, Chris and his team knocked on our front door. Professional And masked, for protection of Covid, I invited them in. Chris and his team diligently got to work!! After a few hours of cleanup, Chris sat down with us to explain how Servpro was going to help us next. Not realizing that Servpro was a multi tasking Company, he really put my mind at ease. He explained that they not only would remove the water, they would document all of the damage to our personal belongings and furniture. He also stated that they would be responsible for the removal of all the contents in the basement, demolition of the wallboard damage, carpet pad, and carpet, even sending samples of that damage to be tested for mold. Over a series of days, Chris and his team respectfully, safely and professionally came in and did what they were going to do, and did the work with precision and accuracy, while being communicative about everything they were doing. Chris and his wonderful staff are so knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and most importantly, safe. I never thought we would've been this lucky to have hired such a great company to help us during a time of great stress and worry. Chris has even put me in touch with a contact of his that is going to help in the restoration of my guitars and amplifiers and keyboards. We are currently about to start the rebuild phase of the project. Chris has also put us in contact with a great building contractor, that will restore our basement to back to the way it was. Not only did Chris and his team put our minds at ease with their exceptional work, they go the extra mile and deal directly with our insurance company to make sure that everything is legitimate and documented. I cannot overstate how glad we were to have the opportunity to work with Servpro of Western Oklahoma City!! I will never hesitate to refer this wonderful company to anyone of my friends or family who who may suffer from water or fire damage. These guys really have a heart and truly care about their clients. Hands down Chris and his team are the answer to helping anyone with water or fire damage. I called the city the next morning told them Bill was working without a permit and the city confirmed he never obtained one making it illegal work on our house.
