It was pretty warm inside when we got there and they had fans blowing, we guess it was supposed to try and keep customers cool. We were both sweating the entire time, my wife had to breakout her folding fan. It actually felt cooler outside when we left. RELIEF!! They have a long list of beers but they only had two type that evening, Bud Light and Corona . I figured a cold beer would be refreshing...nope! The waitress even brought a frosted mug but at best, the beer was cool. Nowhere near what a cold beer should be. I couldn't finish it. Drank iced water instead. The supreme pizza was flooded with vegetables and hardly any meats. The Trio was also a major disappointment. For the money we paid...definitely not worth it. Joe's Italian Grill may be a small place, but the quality of their food and great service makes up for that. Yes, for those of you who drink (not me), they do serve alcohol. This is a family friendly place with a touch of Italian culture. The bread rolls they serve you are baked fresh from the oven. The pesto dipping sauce that comes with it is the best we've ever had. Their desserts aren't too sweet, surprisingly. Joe's Italian Grill's menu isn't very vast, and you can't create your own pasta. Their desserts aren't listed. The salads are very plain. You'll have to check what desserts are available at their fridge where they store them. The cakes aren't labeled, so you have to ask the staff. Joe's was one of our favorite places to eat. The interior isn't fancy but is always clean. The staff are usually friendly. My husband did a review about a year ago. It was completely accurate. The place was amazing at that time. We typically ate there at least weekly and have sent or brought several friends there. The last few months, we seldom go anymore. Occasionally, we are nostalgic and hopeful that things will be back to the way it was. But, have been disappointed each time we try again. We don't recognize any of the servers anymore. The food is now less delicious than before and there are always extra charges for things we never paid for before. It is rare to see a full parking lot anymore. I will always remain hopeful that the spark will return there. It was fabulous to have such an amazing choice. We drove by a few nights ago and thought about it. The parking lot had 1 car during dinner time. So, decided against the potential disappointment. I'm not sure what has changed to make the regular servers leave and the costs to go up. Food: We had the combination and a large Greek salad with chicken. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. I was impressed with the salad and the feta was *chefs kiss* so good. Lasagna was probably my favorite out of the combination, but they others were great. Service: It's impossible to have bad service here because they work as a team and the management is very involved. Alfredo sauce was 110% Microwaved minutes after waiting for my food to cool off and blowing on the food still burned my mouth. They came thru with a large order of chicken parm amd angel hair pasta that was affordable and delicious it also came with a salad

We arrived at dinner and the entire restaurant was empty. We were seated and ordered a Cabernet to which the waitress responded with "I don't know what that is" and rushed off to get a lesson in wine. While she giggled away with her teenaged fellow employee, we waited patiently to ask some questions about the expansive menu. I asked if they offered gluten free pasta and again, the response was a blank look and "I don't know" and then she asked her co-worker. Fortunately they do offer it despite it not being mentioned in the menu. We ordered a lasagna and chicken caciofini (artichoke) that was served with a pink sauce. Both came with salads: iceberg lettuce, a single slice of tomato and once slice of red onion and covered in fresh mozzarella cheese. The Italian dressing was bright orange, thick and sugary. My partner got the "house dressing", a tomato based dressing that looked and tasted exactly like red sauce for seafood. The servings were large, could provide 3-4 meals per person. The caciofini tasted like canned Chef Boyardee, again, sugary and truly not to my taste. The lasagna was also a bit sweet and had an interesting flavor, but more like a Greek dish - nutmeg perhaps- in it. The wait staff spent their time giggling, gossiping and generally being teenagers. While we were there, a GrubHub driver arrived to pick up an order and was told the restaurant had no contract with them and left him hanging at the door, looking a bit confused about what to do next. In general, I am confounded about the great ratings on this place. From the service to the food, it was truly disappointing. read more

First of all the staff is amazing! Service was friendly and consistent. I guess I had built up what it was going to be like based on all the wonderful reviews. Sadly, the food was honestly mediocre. The rolls with the dipping oil were amazing but that was it. My husband got the veal piccata and asked for fettuccine Alfredo on the side. They brought a bowl of Alfredo sauce for the side. My son and I both ordered calzones. They're very big but not a lot of flavor. The marinara sauce is just OK. We ordered cheese sticks for the appetizer and the breading on the outside is not crunchy at all. I did not care for those. My side salad was just a bunch of lettuce a slice of tomato and some cheese. We ordered Coca-Cola, but were told they only have Pepsi even though the menu says Coke and Diet Coke. My husband did say he thought their Alfredo sauce was better than Antonio's. I guess my expectations were just high but if I'm being honest we will probably never go back.
