Firstly I was told that this tow truck company would come and retrieve my car in less than an hour. It took over three hours with them constantly pushing the time later and later each time I called. Thankfully Elvis managed to get my car to the auto body shop in one piece and all was well! Upon getting my car from the auto body shop this morning and driving home i noticed that the tow hitch was still in the front of my car which i tried to pull and get out. I called the company since they mistakenly left it in and spoke to rich, Richard, who would not give me his last name although he obviously knew mine. He told me try to do it myself or come to Manhattan. I told him i couldn't and i wasn't coming out to Manhattan from Brooklyn for something that was their fault. He then had the nerve to ask me if i had a boyfriend or a husband to which i responded no I'm a single woman what in the world. He was beyond unprofessional and unhelpful!!!!! This is not a company that i will be using in the future!

They were fast and nice. While there they noticed my tail light was busted. They ordered one right away and told me to come back the next day in the afternoon. I went two days later. I just showed up- they said stay in your car. They did it for me right there while I was waiting. Fast and nice and that's what I want. I can not speak to prices because it's a fleet vehicle so I never see the cost. This is not a fancy place where you go in, wait, have coffee in the lounge etc. It's a dirty- greasy garage- and as long as they stay as fast and courteous as they were- that's plenty good for me.

Only a few miles down the road, the car stalled in the middle of the highway which is an absolute nightmare. We were stuck on the side of this major highway in a massive city after being there only twenty minutes. Nevertheless, we were able to get off the main road into a neighborhood in Flushing. We had no idea where to take the car since we weren't from the area. First, we called Royal Flush Towing and they transferred us to Friendly Express Towing since I think they covered the area we were broken down in and work in partnership with RoyaThen the guy at Friendly Express said they knew a good place where we could drop off the keys and Uber back to where we were staying. The tow truck driver was very helpful and sociable with a reasonable price for how far he towed us. They really took a terrible situation and made it better so thank you! My only qualm is that they took about 40 minutes to get there but we were 20 minutes away and the car heater still worked so it wasn't unreasonable at all. The mechanic we left the car with gave us the wrong number to call back and the number listed on the website was wrong also. However, we called Friendly Express Towing the next day and they gave us the correct number right away. An awesome job, thanks again!

In early October my car broke down on a Parkway. I was towed by the State Police Towing company to…read moreNorthern Boulevard and 219th Street in Queens. It was 9pm, dark and the car was un-drivable. I called AAA to tow me to a AAA recommended garage. After over 4 hours of waiting, AAA told me they had no driver available to tow me, and that I should call a private towing company. It was after 1am and I was quite nervous. I called Power Lift Automotive and the dispatcher, Rob, answered the phone. He was very reassuring and said that Justin, his driver, would be there within 45 minutes - and he was. I was still nervous because I had to pay cash and leave my car with Justin whilst I got a cab home. But both Rob and Justin reassured me that Justin would take photos of the AAA service station and of my keys being dropped into their drop box - and I received many photos and a texted receipt. Today I called to get a proper receipt to present to AAA for reimbursement and spoke to Andy the owner. What a pleasure to deal with such a pleasant, reliable and competent team of people who put their customers needs and well-being first. I highly recommend Power Lift Towing if you ever need to get towed!
