He stopped to talk every time he walked by. He would continue to talk by yelling across the house if I walked away while he was working. He stayed after the job was done to continue talking and I didn't know what to do because I was trying to be polite and all of my attempts to end the conversation failed. This was the most expensive conversation I've ever had and it was not worth it. I know more about his personal life after one day than I know about people I've known for years. He seemed knowledgeable and like he did the job right, but wildly unprofessional and expensive for the amount of work that was actually required.

He refused to come out and look into it and told me it was normal for my house to not heat or cool to the desired temperature. A different company came out to look into it and immediately found that a valve on the unit was leaking and had also been glued on rather than properly brazed. This cost me thousands of dollars to repair. I also lost the warranty on the unit because of the improper installation of the valve. I reported this to the BBB in an effort to resolve it and get my money back for something that Ryan was responsible for... he denied everything. I then filed a small claim in court and he did not show up to any of the hearings. Do not use this company, Ryan has no integrity and is very hard to track down if necessary. I was at my neighbors house all day helping her with a flooded basement. She's 90 years old and…read moreI've helped her out "dozens" of times because of Predators towards the elderly . On this day later on she contacted her Realtor and he arranged for a Plumbing company, for as it turned out it was a simple trap blockage in her basement. Ive done this several times in my home and it takes about 15 minutes. Both the Realtor and the 90 year old woman wanted me there for the obvious reasons. They charged her $640?, (Woonsocket Average is $250 to $400 with all fees and Labor. and it would be over $900+ (not typical) if they had to snake to the street?. The blockage was just in the house. Earlier I was showing her what to do if her main Hot water tank drain value blew out (like mine did) and water spouted out. Shut off the water supply, open the pressure relief valve which would stop the flow. After slightly pulling on the value it developed some water drops, perhaps temporary?. The plumber said since you (I) messed with it you should pay to have it replaced? I'm sure its only a $20 item, they quoted me $450 to replace it? (that's hysterical and BS! )? I believe he was scamming me...II said no I will replace it myself. I said you should help the 90 year old lady! and he said he would not charge her (I hope he didn't?), I will check. I noticed, my wife as well that the water heater appeared to still be under warranty and the plumber seemed annoyed when she said this! After doing some research it was leaking because of particles and minerals on the seal. There is a method to flush and clear the minerals. So they did not have to replace this pressure valve. So much for the so called Master Plumber in the room! they were simply trying to pad their bill, no question about this! He needs a Plumbing refresher. In any event the unit is still under warranty and they should have just flushed the valve. . When I stopped back in 5 minutes (after emptying the full shop Vac for the plumber, a supporting gesture) there was someone else there that claimed to be the owner and he seems ready to get violent with me ( I am 74 years old). I guess the cry baby plumber needed help. I was there in her best interest protecting her as she has very little money. The owner kept threatening me telling me to get out, that I don't anything about running a business..how comical!....but I had all my tools there. Eventually I left. I wouldn't hire this Plumbing company if they were the only ones in town. My son in law is a certified Master Plumber that does all advanced work for his company, which they mocked? Complete as- ho_es. These companies act like a casino charging as much as they can. Their website shows that do very basic work, nothing advanced? I can understand why they don't like oversight. I have a plumber I use from time to time...a real class Act, reconnecting and adjusting my Gas fittings after I installed a new water heater with a larger footprint. New pressure relief valve. FYI Brass valves simply do not fail for a slight pull on it, it was 4 years old I believe, perhaps a cheap one?? The sink needed replacing, so he said a quote would be coming soon. It was at that point that things began to take a turn. Matt came on a Wednesday. By that Friday afternoon I had heard nothing regarding a quote or any additional information, so I called. I got the AI phone answer service "Dane", who is meant to sound real (with computer keyboard clicking and background voice noise) but is clearly not. AI Dane said that someone would call me back. Nothing. The weekend went by, Monday, Tuesday then Wednesday--a full week--went by. AI Dane was happy to take a message and have someone return my call. Only when I told AI Dane to cancel the project did I get a text--not a call--from someone named Chris (was he AI? who knows) saying that he thinks it will be "around $850." After all that waiting I would rather go through someone else. They may do good work--I can't speak to that--but their communication needs a lot of improvement. Update: Chris apparently is real, at least he said so in a text, and said that there were some issues that came up on their side and that they were sorry. Honestly, if a message had just been communicated to me that there were some issues and that that they would be able to get to it the following week, I would have been fine! I am not a jerk. But I do need businesses that make the effort to communicate clearly, which did not happen.
