    Skipbo is the thing here.

Fun place, odd location but I get it, they want to bring some GOOD to a pretty rough area. Joe's Addiction is nestled between all the strip clubs on SE 59th street. It's so odd to walk into the coffee shop and see the brightly paint, the great pictures and great vibe in the middle of trailer parks and strip clubs. The coffee is good, not great. The chai latte is what I think shines though. They make it, or I guess assemble the components and it is for sale by the pound and half a pound. Board and card games are on shelves and you're encouraged to play. We played a monster game of SkipBo and stayed there late. Speaking of late, they are open till 10:00 on weekdays and even later on weekends. Don't freak out when some odd people come in or strippers come in dressed out. The place attracts all kinds and the staff is amazingly friendly to the crew that comes in. A homeless man walked in while we where there and was given free bread and bagels to take. All in all, a great place and I get the GOOD they are doing.

Such an incredible place. Good coffee, better people. Every city should have a Joe's.

It is quite embarrassing for OKC imo to be honest that so little is done for the homeless community. We got to cook food, serve it, and assist with keeping the dining area organized and clean. There was a lot of interaction and everyone got food and drinks. It was a quick effort and gave some good insight into what happens at this facility. They offer more for the homeless than just a place to get food, and I totally recommend you to get involved.
