Change in rating now that we finally got to experience the full dine in experience. Food wise, we recommend the omelet over the breakfast sandwich. The ham in the breakfast sandwich was cold and very salty. Drinks were consistently good. Service is superb as this time we get to experience the staff and they were all nice people. We also got to experience their live shows and it's pretty cute to watch and listen to. Bathrooms are well maintained and clean. It is definitely a busy day in the morning. Still a good place to visit especially for their drinks. However, it seems like they lack high chairs for babies in case you guys would bring your LO's. read more

I haven't been here in years, but within the area and decided to stop in and grab some of their amazing decaf. The remodel is fabulous. This is a place where you'd want to come and hang out for hours. I grabbed a bag of their freshly roasted decaf, and was detoured by the chocolate truffles in the case. I picked up a few to take home. We tried the hazelnut, the Coco nib, and I ate a wasps nest in the car. Holy cow!! The wasp's nest meringue cookie was more like a brownie without flour. This was a first time visit for me. One of my coworkers chose this place for us to have a quick morning meeting. She's actually been here and she was pleased with it, which is why she chose it. I walked away filling two ways about it. The coffee was great, and the space had a really cool vibe. I ordered a Christmas flavored latte, and it was delicious. The only downside was that when we arrived, there was just one person working. The line got long fast, and she was trying to take orders and make all the specialty drinks at the same time. Someone in the military uniform came in and tried to help her. I'm not sure if he works there or not so it felt kind of strange. Eventually, another from the staff came in and things picked up. Even with the slow start, everyone around us seem happy with their drinks and once we had ours, we were too. I'd go back again, especially because the ambience was great. I'd like to try it when they're fully staffed to see how the experience compares. read more

I have zero tolerance for not being able to have zero tolerance. What Mozart is to a piano, and Einstein is to physics, Roy (the owner) is to coffee. He knows it all. The drip and black coffee is brilliant, goes down smooth, and soothes your every need. You walk inside lost and walk out found. You arrive in need and walk out fulfilled. You show up looking and leave with clarity. This is probably the best most expert coffee shop in town. But let me add this, they have more versatility than Michael Jordan playing baseball and basketball. More versatile than Dion Sanders playing offense or defense (the jury is out on you Travis Hunter). I say all that to say they don't only do coffee, they also do chocolate insane. I am not convinced yet they aren't Willy Wonka undercover. Or at least in the direct lineage. Or maybe they stole the secret recipe. You be the judge of that. Try the dark chocolate Carmel. Nice amount of seating inside and it was a variety which is always nice ! They roast their own coffee beans which is always nice to see! Super clean, very neat! Spacious inside & when they are down with construction, it will have a patio area again! I loved my vanilla latte, it was super delicious. The chocolate was amazing (my daughter had it, so I didn't get a photo).. its pretty quiet inside. The barista knew everything about coffee, teas, etc, so I felt pretty comfortable asking questions about their homemade items. I actually left a review on Google of a 3. I gave honest feedback after my experience. Normally businesses respond to thoughtful criticism with how they they are sorry it wasn't up to expectations and they always try to do their best to make their customers happy and if we would try them again they are confident we will love it. Apparently the owner here can't take honest feedback and instead became defensive and insuated that I have poor taste and should stick to chocolate from the super market. What happened to "the customer is always right in matters of taste" maybe it was an off day for them but I repeat, the hot chocolate was luke warm at best, not hot. My drink was chalky and watered down. And the barista was disinterested at best. Very pretty presentation and love the ambiance but the owner needs to learn how to receive feedback from customers and use it to improve. read more

For the genuinely kind service, the rich ambiance, and the sundry tasty treats, five stars. This is not your Starbucks (thank god) or any other chain. It's a small shop that seems family run (and loved). In the four years it's been here, the menu and seating (there's a patio in the back, seats at the bar, leather chairs, and tables for two throughout) have expanded but the people and the place have essentially stayed the same. My only quibble is that they open at 8:30 on weekdays, after I'm at work, and close at 3:30, when I am still at work. Were they to open at 7:30, I would (as I'm sure many others would) be here in the morning for a cup of coffee on occasion. I have respect for boundaries, though, and I totally get avoiding the morning rush. Add Zero Tolerance to your list! Ps. I've been coming to Zero Tolerance too long to have not left a review by now. What a gem this coffee shop is. Never once have I stepped foot in this shop without being greeted so warmly by their staff. I always feel so welcomed here. Just feels like a safe place. I'm not sure what they put in their vanilla syrup but it's like the most creamiest vanilla bean flavor I've ever had. By no means is this my "local" coffee shop. This coffee shop is about 20 minutes from my home and in the total opposite direction of my base. But I truly love their coffee, I love how kind the people working here are. I'd drive here over other places to have their coffee and give them service. Also I was there on accident during a coffee walk event and they were explaining their machines and they really put a lot of thought and effort into creating a coffee experience. My husband loves freshly-ground black coffee and had been interested in stopping in for several months. Zero Tolerance is totally closed when I'm off work, so we took my bank holiday as an opportunity to stop in. We were surprised to find that they not only roast coffee in house, but they also roast and package their own chocolates. We tried the 100% and 78%. The 100% was a little too strong for me, but hubby loved it. We got the 78% so we could both enjoy it later. I ordered the mocha latte with their housemate chocolate and oat milk. We sat on their lovely cozy little back patio, which I had no idea even existed until we walked in. The woman behind the counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming, as was (who I imagine was her son) studying. I highly recommend all coffee lovers to stop in at your next opportunity. read more

What a great spot to have a cup of coffee and chat with a friend. There's free street parking right outside the front of the building. It's a cozy shop with assorted wooden tables and chairs. The aroma of chocolate and coffee is irresistible as you decide what to order. I enjoyed a tasty mocha latte and a warm buttered onion roll. Behind the shop there's a small outdoor patio with umbrella tables and a small covered stage. We enjoyed talking with the owners and learning about how they make their chocolates. This is a cute little coffee shop on the north side of town (it's kind of true north if there is such a thing). It's on Britton Road just east of Western. They make their own chocolate which is really cool. And they have samples. They also make great lattes. It's small, with 3 tables, two arm chairs and a counter. But it's a hidden gem that I hope is found. read more

If you are looking for your next coffee experience, look no further. We went in to try Zero Tolerance for the first time today and had the most wonderful time. Their mocha is made with chocolate that they make themselves and is hands down the best mocha in the city. We also tried the citrus spice latte, which is overflowing with flavor, perfect for any spice lover. Of course we had to try their homemade chocolate and it was to die for! It's made using simply cocoa beans and sugar making for the most pure chocolate experience you'll ever have. Not only was the coffee and chocolate fantastic, but the level of hospitality we received was even better. The owner Maura and barista Alina took care of us as if we were their own family. We had the most wonderful conversation with them and Maura even gave us recipes for some Mexican baking chocolate that we were fortunate enough to leave with. Alina also offered us to try their cocoa tea, a cold brew style tea made with cacao beans, that was rich with the aroma of chocolate and gives you a natural boost of energy from the chocolate itself. They also serve brunch on Saturdays that is of course all made in house as well. Overall we had the best time at Zero Tolerance and found our new favorite coffee spot. They roast coffee and cacao beans and craft some amazing products. At this time they have a 75% and an 85% bean to bar chocolate, and they're both great. The 75% is fruity and nutty with a bunch of flavor layers, and the 85% is straight forward and unlike any super dark I've ever had because it is so smooth and not bitter at all; but I dont mind bitter chocolate They offer four or five types of caffeinated coffee beans and a decaf. One of the caffeinated beans is aged in whisky barrels, one is a blend, and two are single origin I had a bit of cold brew, a cup of the brew of the day, and a crafted chai spiced caffè macchiato type drink with untempered chocolate stirred in; I took one sip and bathed in the rest; the sounds I made were not appropriate and it got awkward I look forward to the visions they have in revolutionizing craft bean creations, and influences they'll bring to the industry. It has a quaint country cottage (IMO) what I really enjoyed was how the family interacted with guest and one another you can feel the joy ! I enjoyed visiting this coffee shop. The ambiance and music were both very nice. It's a smaller, more intimate shop which allowed for the owners' friendliness to shine through. Their focus is on quality coffee and chocolates. They roast their own beans and form their own chocolate bars. Because of this, their mocha's are delicious. Their in-house chocolate syrup is created from their own chocolates. They also don't add much sugar so the flavors of their coffee and chocolate can be analyzed and enjoyed more fully.
