Mary, and now Melissa (who replaced Lisa, who departed for Florida) always know exactly how to tame my mangled head of hair. I never had a "it will grow back - eventually" coif from them (unlike a few places more local to me that I went to in an emergency). The space is clean, cheery, and you're always greeted with a smile. Their base clientele is mostly Villagers, and about equally men to women. Sometimes, there's a wait, but there's a lot of magazines (some of them recent), the daily paper, and a television to help pass the time. I have grown dependent upon them to keep my hair looking great, and I will go no where else when I need a cut before I get a new book jacket photo since I don't have to worry about how it will turn out.
