He's the guy who…read moretold me about J&D since they were a small business run by a nice couple who charged fair prices. Considering I did not have the thousand some dollars the repair on my car was going to cost (new muffler/exhaust and new rotars and breaks), I went with J&D and got my parts from my brother in law. The office is run by Judy, who was very sweet and helpful. Her husband Doug, the mechanic, was as nice as nice could be. The shop is in the large garage behind their home. I think one of the most important things about having a mechanic is knowing you can trust them. Doug showed me the breakdown of the prices, showed me on the computer he was getting me the best possible deal, let me sit in the garage with him while he worked on my car (what mechanic do you know does that?!) and actually showed me how the parts worked, what they should look like and what they shouldn't. He even told me to bring my tire back to Firestone as it was defective instead of trying to sell me a new one. If you're looking for a good, honest mechanic THIS is the place to go. Their waiting room is a bit small, but they have loads of cats (and when I went kittens!) to keep you company while you wait. The pricing was fair and Doug will chat with you and explain everything down to the cent so you don't walk away feeling ripped off. He has three grown kids who he will proudly tell you about while he works, and has a genuinely good work ethic since he was a nurse (and I believe still is part time. All of which I found out while he repaired my car haha). He even did a few extra repairs when he opened my car up and saw I had a bad axel, instead of bringing me back for a separate appointment. He stayed late to get the car going instead of kicking me out, and even diagnosed other issues I was having so I could return soon to get the car completed. In the end, I ended up saving $400+ on my repair. If I could give them more stars I would! If you're tired of feeling like a money machine and want some good honest work done on your car, I can't recommend giving this business a shot enough.

absolutely terrible experience with this facility brought my truck in for repair they did the…read morerepair gave me a call to come pick it up and bring payment. what they didn't tell me is that they dropped my truck off the lift and truck is now ruined the frame is bent air and water comes in from the cab being twisted rocker panels destroyed all seam gaps are off my hood on passenger side is raised up half inch rear passenger door is pushed in at bottom passed the rocker panel when it should be flush the bed is now leaning backwards and now the front end that had all new components less than a year ago at the time of these clowns working on my truck is wearing front tires from the frame being tweaked this is a very heavy truck and it fell and the owner is a a horrible business owner after assuring me that things would be corrected my nerf bars are broken and bent which there employee gave me an answer when I asked what happened to my truck was oh yeah that happens sometimes with bigger trucks and then added hey don't worry we can find a used rusty set in the junk yard for you and then I had the manager come up and try to convince me that the vehicle was in a collision before which is a joke so for a place that's supposed to fix your auto they destroyed mine and that terrible excuse of owner doesn't give a damn because she got paid because I am not a piece of crap just a bit of a fool for believing this was not going to be a problem I was out of a vehicle for weeks as truck sat at body shop waiting for an estimate. all I can say is under no circumstance would I ever recommend anybody ever bring there auto there for more than put air in your tire and if you do make sure your the one holding the hose and looking at the gauge! Behind the friendly smile and somewhat clean looking shop is a bunch of irresponsible people that don't give a damn the owner that passed away is probably flipping out because what the legacy he built is being torn apart. All I can say is I believe in karma and I hope it catches up to them soon. The one star rating I gave is way too generous
