I made an appointment for Wednesday November 4 at 2pm to get my check engine light checked out, arrived on time dropped it off and was told it would take an hour to do the service check and someone would call. No one called me that day so the next morning I at 9am and was told my car had not yet been looked at, said it was next no one called so I called them at 4:45pm only to be told they still haven't looked at my car! If they were too busy or overbooked it would have been nice if they would have just said that instead of me being inconvenienced without a car for 2 days SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I have been going to Kneble's for 10 years since I moved to Mays Landing. I have all my routine maintenance done there as well as infrequent repairs as I have had Honda and Accura cars. I've lived in the are 30 years, moved to NY but have a son in a local college , I had my son drop his car their for a noise in the rear of the car, nothing else wrong with the car at all , was sound and running with no issues other than the noise near back tire ! they call the next morning and say " you need a battery and the car engine light is on and they can't diagnose the problem until they put a new battery in, then they tell me $180 diagnostic fee plus 200 for the battery, ok so we go with it. Then the noise is shocks $500 , ok we go with it 2 days go buy , they call and say we need a hood latch assembly $500 , we decline since my son had no issues opening the hood . We pick the car up $1100 , they tell us we have to drive it a couple days to see if the engine light comes back on , my son leaves , drives no more than 25 miles and the car shuts down, we tow back there . They tell us the serpentine belt broke and they need to diagnose again $580 . 1.5 weeks go by , first they say timing belt issues , then they say it needs a new engine. something went wrong with whoever serviced this car first time they had it, it's just not right how they treat us, they completely scammed us, to top it all off they offered us $250 for the car in the end I was reluctant on dropping it off there the first time because they have a shady reputation but I did because they were local . read more

We've lived a lot of places. This has been the most consistently honest, professional, courteous, and effective auto repair shop we've ever used. Discovered I had a headlight out today on a long drive home from a work trip that happened to go right by Kneble's. Sure, I could go online later, figure out the right bulb, drive to a parts shop, bring it home, get out the tools, and do it myself. But I'm pretty busy, and that's just a pain. I called, and even though they were closing up in 15 minutes, she immediately said to bring it on by. They weren't the least bit upset that I was rolling in at the end of the work day; they happily took it straight into the garage, changed the bulb, and had it sitting in front of the main door for me in about 10 minutes flat, all with a smile. My husband took his truck there several times. One time he had the transmission fluid replaced and they didn't put cap on right and all Transmission fluid leaked out. Then he had them replace spark plugs and a few were not calibrated correctly and car had to be towed from Marlton back to Mays Landing. They replaced rack and pinion steering which turned out was faulty. We took back several times and they couldn't find anything wrong. Took to another repair shop and they found that rack and pinion was faulty. We took back before the warranty ran out, told them it needed to be replaced. Car sat in same parking spot 4 days and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. We took car back to the auto repair shop that finally found the faulty rack and pinion steering and they fixed. Truck is now running fine. Guess they didn't want to honor their warranty! My car was there since last Wednesday, I waited patiently until Monday to call and ask whats wrong with my Honda before they said "they don't know," and pawn my call off to the next person. I got rushed off the phone without being explained what was wrong with my car and felt like they were taking me as a joke because I was a female. I had my father to call because after calling multiple times Monday and not getting a straight answer or being hung up on I was annoyed. While speaking to a "man" they were able to put a mechanic on the phone right away and his phone call automatically got answered. It's now Wednesday, without discussing my own bill with me they added the problems to my bill without even telling my what's wrong with MY car! It took a week to get my car back and all they did was put four quarts of oil in my car and run an hour diagnostic on my car. They made up excuses like oh we need to unblock your car we can't let you have your car now and said because they ran an HOUR diagnostic it should've taken a week. Both Allen and Fred treated me like I was nothing and I am extremely upset that when bringing up how I felt about my service because an hour diagnostic and four quarts of oil shouldn't have taken a week Allen got extremely rude and tried to defend that diagnostic like he wasn't the one who told me it only took an hour.... If they knew what was wrong with my car Monday my car should've been available and I shouldn't have been greeted with "your car is blocked in" and the whole time not once did this company call me. I had to repeatedly call and basically harass and have a man call to be taken seriously. This place is jokes and to say it's owned by a women is a shame. OH AND IT WAS 170 FOR A TEST AND FOUR QUARTS OF OIL! A shame and a scam. read more

I have brought several car there over the years. They were never the cheapest option but it's close and a local business. My last visit was Jan 2016 when I needed a tail light replaced on a Subaru. This was my first visit to Knebles. I was looking for a reliable local place to get my car serviced and I found it! Staff was very friendly, I asked for an oil change and windshield wiper replacement which came to a total of $59. I was quoted the price up-front and when service was completed that is exactly what I paid. All my family used to take our car to Kneble's because they USED to have a good service, even tough a little pricey. Last week I dropped my car there and after one week they still can't find what is wrong on my car and want to try to repair a piece that cost $3K. I refused to do so because they are not 100% sure about the real problem and I may end up just need to pay for nothing. Now, they want to charge $500 for the labor. I am so frustrated!!! I recently went to this place regarding steering wheel issues. An o-ring needed to be put in. Now three weeks later there is a problem with this o-ring and it has caused problems creating another $300 repair. I am currently working on getting the money refunded.
