Quaint little Italian restaurant where are you hope that mama Giorgio is in the back whipping up the lasagna.. There were four of us at dinner we all ordered separate things and we're all satisfied with our meal. Although The calamari was a bit overdoneandd What I ordered was the Tour of Italy and it all was in one platter that you could not differentiate what was what but it was still tasty. Tried Joe's for the first and probably last time. The service was pretty poor..basically took my order delivered the food and then disappeared for the rest. I don't like paying $3.50 for a tea and not even being offered a refill throughout the visit. The pizza was mediocre. We're new in town and we're hungry for some Italian food. We were recommended to come try this place. I'm honestly appalled that this place is in business. The food orders were wrong. The manager/owner was barking at the workers out front. The waitress even tried to cover up by lying to us and then when caught she was saying she messed up and was just seeing if we noticed. They cannot complete simple uncomplicated food orders. Service was not good at all. When we asked to talk to who was in charge "Andy" who they call "Joe" came to our table but couldn't listen to us and take constructive criticism. He walked away from us while we were even being kind but honest about what we were experiencing. Absolutely unprofessional. The chicken was gristly and all around the food was very bland as well. There's really nothing else to say, other than it has been one of my favorite trips to a restaurant in recent time. The food was phenomenal and had a perfect consistency to it. If I had to recommend one dish, it's the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the strips of chicken were juicy and delicious. Owner is rude as FUCK! Excuse my language. Nicest way to put it. First off, says they close at 10, obviously he hasn't updated his hours online. Door says they close at 9:30, we got there at 8:45. When we walked in we had asked if they were closing & he said "oh no come on in sit anywhere!" I overheard him send our waitress to our table FIVE TIMES within less than 10 minutes to try to take our order! Fourth time it happened I told my significant other "they got one more time" - sure enough not even a minute later I hear him say to our waitress "hurry up & get their order!" The poor girl comes to our table & is obviously embarrassed & says "I'm sorry he's hounding me to take your order." So I just said fuck it. Give us the check ‍" We got there 45 mins to close Stayed for barely 10 minutes. Terrible service. Not even from the waitstaff - but from the owner himself! How embarrassing for his staff. We Won't be back. I'm only giving them one star because I can't leave less than ‍ Waste of our time & waste of $10. Never had it presented this way and it wasn't good. My chicken parm was just "ok", the chicken with a flavorless breading and the pasta topped with what seemed to be just canned tomato sauce. We both did what we rarely often do and reached for the salt shaker; even this wouldn't wake these dishes up. Despite being the only table in there on a Sunday afternoon service was lacking, having to ask for bread before the meal ("oh, ya want bread?") and just generally nonexistent overall. I've heard, to date, Four separate people share their terrible work experiences with the manager who works here. Constant berratings, yelling, throwing things, the like. The abuse seemed to seriously affect our waitress who confided in us about what she was having to go through when we came in nearly 2 months ago. I should note, so there's no repercussions for the current staff, I've purposefully waited about a month since the last person I heard talk about the manager here specifically so there wouldn't be any reaction. However, this treatment seems to be consistent as I've heard people talk about their similar experiences over the better part of a year. I really hope the people working here are able to find a space to work without this kind of abuse. Stopped at Joes Italian Kitchen last night and had again the best experience. The food always tastes great, the staff very helpful and friendly, and the service is great. I've only had pizza there, but it is very reasonably priced. The dine in experience is excellent also. They always offer free white buns that are delicious and its BYOB. You can't beat that!
