I love a good pizza and was expecting something amazing from a brick oven pizza place. Originally being from NY I guess my expectations were a little high. We started with the Bruschetta breadstick at the recommendation of our server, Lucas and they did not disappoint at all. They were full of flavor. We ordered the Favorite pizza and I felt it lacked some flavor. The crust was thin and crispy which was good, but we should have ordered a different pizza. The description said it was a turkey pizza and I thought it would have been crumbled turkey meat. Instead, it was warmed deli turkey. Not a fan. I should have orderd the chicken bacon ranch. Maybe next time. The biggest disappointment was the cannoli. When I see cannoli on the menu I get very excited because I don't get them very often. This was NOT a cannoli. It was a flour tortilla stuffed with something - definitely not cannoli cream and it was warm. Be aware - you will not get a traditional cannoli. I would go back to try and different pizza, but I will definitely not be getting another "cannoli". They should change the name/description. read more

At one time, I wrote on Yelp "I remain shocked that there are so few pizza places in the Coonie Triangle." I may have an answer to this dilemma. We went to one of the few, Brick Oven Pizza, and there was lots of seating available and few people there. Now, although we went on a Friday, it was a little before supper officially starts, so I don't know about later Friday nights or all day Saturday, when a big game is shown on TV, or after the Nederland High Bulldogs play. But it is possible that pizza places are just not something that people in Southeast Texas go to. It wasn't because of the bad pie. We had a meat lovers pizza, and it was superb. The dough was a good thickness, there was a good variety of meat, and it was cooked well. The Hunny and girl were working hard to eat as much as they could, it was so good. Naturally, I out-ate them all :-) What about the rest of it? It was typical, what we're accustomed to. Booths and tables, a little dark, sports on the TV. Service was good too. So what's up, SETX? Would you want more like this? I'm no entrepreneur, and restaurants are risky, especially in a collapsing economy. But Brick Oven Pizza appears to be a good place to $upport. read more

Love this place food was Delicious. My husband got a pizza he said was very good and I got the dough pizza bowel it was very good. I love that I found a pizza place that is set up for people that can't eat gluten. Our waiter Jonathan was great. Restrooms very clean. The only thing beware if you get a Togo drink they charge for it. Something we where not expecting. If it wasn't for this one thing I would have gave 5 stars read more

While the waiter was amazing. The cook/(manager) was having a bad day. At least that's the excuse the waiter had given us. We were the only patrons at around 1400-1600 1/17/22. We wished to make an alteration to the order, we just asked if we could possible add a meat to the baked mushrooms. If it is not possible then that is fine, policy is policy, but when the cook said "No, just order off the *expletive* menu. We decided to close the ticket and go elsewhere. My second visit today. The restaurant is clean and inviting. We seated ourselves and were quickly greeted by our server. Drinks were quickly served. We ordered the Sriracha Salad and the pulled pork nachos. The salad was delicious, even though it was iceberg lettuce (not my favorite). The nachos were sorely lacking in pulled pork, but still delicious. Still, the meal was delicious, and I'll be back to try some pasta soon. read more

This place never fails to impress...from the food to the service every step makes our dining experiences fantastic. This evening we were in with our family (12-top) and were seated almost immediately. We had 2 young children under 6, one age 11, and one 15-year-old. The rest were all adults. We sat in a comfortable environment with plenty of TV screens (LETS GO ASTROS!) for game 7 of the World Series. Our server Ash had a great attitude and was very welcoming. We never had a hint that we might be inconvenient or that he was too busy to bother with a party our size. He did inform us up front that the food would take approximately 30 minutes; THIS IS NOT FAST FOOD. We enjoyed our drinks (that never were left empty) and had a pleasant wait of family catch-up time. Our food came out in stages; we weren't disappointed because it was a family-style meal. We had a couple of hiccups with our orders, but we are all human and can understand how that happens. Our server also made up for it with a discount on the already reasonable prices so we were not upset. We stayed for about 2 hours, during which we were never made to feel rushed, and we enjoyed our time with Brick Oven. We will definitely go back yet again for what will surely be an enjoyable exp Update: We came back tonight (11/07/19) for another large group meal. Shawn took care of us tonight and we were as impressed as we have been in the past. Our drinks were never empty, our food came out piping hot, and everything was, as usual, delicious! I love coming here for the food, but the service is what keeps us coming back. We ordered the Big Italy for the adults and our youngest loved the 8" bacon beef pizza. Our dinner companions ordered the Kick'n Chicken and the Double Trouble and they were enjoyed by everyone at the table. I have yet to find a great pizza spot in this area. This place is another menu that has potential but fails to deliver. The dough is thin dry and flavorless. I assume it's frozen pizza bases. The pizza sizes are very small and very expensive. The lasagna dip was probably the best item I ordered but the bread bits were disappointing. The pizzas themselves were just cheap in taste. Not what you expect from a "brick oven" style restaurant. It doesn't have that tasty char from a high heat oven and I get better flavors from a frozen pizza at the grocery store. read more

Pizza is excellent. The ambience is great with the exception of a slamming side door constantly. The service can be a little slow at times.

Went several months ago on a slow evening. Had wine and salad. Waited 35 more minutes, no pizza. Find the waitress, she said a little longer. 15 more minutes, no pizza. We go up to the counter to find, she had just put in our order, and 45 more minutes. We are given a gift cert.and apology. We just placed an order online, to be ready at 6:11. (40 min). Get there, pay and 6:15 I'm told pizza is ready, waiting on spinach dip. 45 minutes for spinach dip? At 630, pizza is getting cold, no dip, so a I leave without 8 dollar dip. Total, 1 hour and no spinach dip, get the pizza home, of course, it's cold. About an 8 of 10. Go to Bucksten on Boston for fast, excellent brick oven pizza. Great service, beer and other items. This place will not make it. Imho read more

Great place for some delicious tasting fresh Italian pizzeria food. The pizza crust is crispy but not burnt. The beer is cold.

Was in the mood for pizza and saw this place in a small little strip mall. Service was good. Plenty of staff and dining area was clean. Pizza was as expected and priced appropriate. I always order extra mushrooms on my pizza but it's like there is a mushroom shortage I never seem to get the amount I want, unfortunately here was no different. Next time I'll make sure to says quadruple mushrooms lol. I will be back to enjoy other things on the menu. If your in the area I'd recommend this place for sure. Enjoy.
