I am a retired Navy mechanic that has worked on everything from small engines & diesels to multi-million dollar jet powered support equipment and I HAVE seen my share of defective parts. Oh- they did offer to "look at my mower" but that's just a way for them to make more money off of you and try to find more wrong with your equipment and blame the operator or equipment for failure. Go to Pauli's Lawn Equipment; much better service and Danny not only works the counter, he works on equipment. Crank was straight so didn't bring back so you guys to tell me same and charge me for something else. The fact you wouldn't stand behind your product speaks volumes.... Thanks for at least the friendly counter service before I purchased the bunk part, that's why I at least gave two stars.

I brought my sputtering mower in, and was so surprised that Bo and team submitted the work as warranty as all was approved so no out of pocket expense! But beyond, when I picked up the unit..I had to ask Bo if they brought the right unit out to me..it was cleaned and tuned up to the point of looking and working as if I had a brand new machine! I come from the school of Lean Mfg. and just walking into their shop was pleasant--everything neat, labeled, organized, clean! I was so surprised that Bo wasn't out to charge outrageous money for and in fact suggested that he would try for Warranty approval first. ( I had taken this unit to a shop in Uptown, paid $90 in service fees, Owner had trouble even finding my unit, then told me he spray cleaned the carburetor, worked ok for 1 mowing ). I'm passionate about keeping my lawn up and so to have my mower returned almost like it was new..shiny, clean, and purring... thank you thank you thank you!

Bob's shop has been operating with just the owner and the lady at the parts department and sales. And that in it of self can explain some of the poor attitudes. But not get off Scott free. Lady at NAPA recommended I go here. Never knew this place was here. They do rv/trailer repairs and sell parts. The owner came out said he was sure he has what I need and proceeded to go through containers of misc parts trying to find it. He finally found my part and handed to me and said...... no charge ! Really? Who does that? But he insisted. Will definitely come back here when I'm in need of something else.

I was shopping for a little trailer to use around the house for small projects, landscaping, stuff like that. I called around to the "other store," looking for the trailer they had on sale, but I was treated very rudely. Not rude like, "what do you want?" Nooooo, this lady went so far as to put me on hold for 10 minutes while she 'went to check the availability of the trailer.' That's not such a bad thing until someone else accidentally picked up the phone to ask who I was holding for and this voice in the background says, "put him back on hold, he can wait." Actually, no, I couldn't and I hung up on your store...haven't been back since, either. Anyway, that's just to illustrate why I went to Northern Tool, instead, but here's why I will continue to visit. I did buy my folding trailer from Northern Tool, loaded it up, then proceeded to ignore the boxes it came in for about 6 months. When I finally got around to assembling it, I found that I was missing an entire box of parts. OH NO! Dejected and sad and a little ashamed, I loaded up the parts and made the trudge back to the store. I explained my situation, bought it a long time ago, turns out I am missing parts, the original packaging was damaged, yada yada yada. The guy looks at me, walks in the back, then comes out with a box on a cart. THEY REALIZED I HAD FORGOTTEN A BOX AND PUT IT ON A SHELF FOR ME!!! Y'all, you can't beat customer service like that anywhere. NT is my new go to. Plus, it's a really clean store, their products are terrific, and the people are some of the best you're gonna meet.

We started talking options and Measurements. Online options. What's the purpose for them. Etc etc. He narrowed down for me what the best options were. Doubled checked the in-stock and costs to ship if I preferred online ordering it. Polite. Courteous. Quick to respond to a potential client. Genuine. Total pleasure. .... Total class. More than just a quick sell. Was an enjoyable time while spending my money.
