    Chicken nachos

Amazing place all around! Great for game day, concerts or just a night out!! Their game day buckets are great! HIGHLY recommend the nachos!! Huge, literally never ending, well portioned and sturdy chips! Our server was truly a super hero!! The place was packed and she came through often!! Very impressed with her! Place can get very crowded and loud on game day. So be prepared!

this bar is nice, on a thursday evening it was very empty in the interior but was quite busy on the rooftop. the bloody mary was delicious and the transfusion was also really good with a very strong grape flavor. you couldn't really taste the ginger beer in it though, i only just now realized it was even meant to have ginger beer in it. the food was good too, especially as far as bar food goes! we got the loaded tater tots and the chicken burger and they were both substantial and yummy.

When to watch a basketball game. Whole we uber there, there is street parking around. There are two different rooms. They took reservations for this event. They have tvs all around for your sporting events. They also offer a lot of late night events, which you can see on their website. Example a color party this evening 10pm-4am. The chicken nachos were good, about a 45-minute wait due to a game playing, but we were informed about the time prior to ordering. The food did come to the table hot.

Came here with my sister in law for the Spencer Crandall concert & meet/greet! The venue is awesome! The front has high top tables and bar seating like a normal bar/restaurant but the back room is HUGE! Large stage for performers and 3 bars for cocktail service. There is also a balcony area. Music / sound system sounded amazing and filled the room! They also had White Claw which is a big plus! Staff was super friendly and I will definitely be back for another show soon!

Great music and energetic dancing. Loved it.

First time there as I had tickets for the WXRT popup show for Sierra Ferrell. Parking around the corner at the garage was around $10 for 5 hours. Lots of suited security. Think they were there because of the event. Coat check is $4 per item. Ladies room has two stalls of which only one locked. Heineken Silver sponsored giveaways were a nice touch. Other reviews on here go into detail about the concert space so no need for me to repeat. I had a spot at the front left of the stage area. There's a staircase to an upper seat/viewing section for VIPs I assume. Prior to the start of the show, I set my drink on the railing ledge so I could insert my earplugs. Security dude lost it. Started shouting that I was not allowed to reach over the railing. Seriously he was yelling. You would have thought I was putting a picnic blanket down at the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier! Something along the lines of "Sorry, you're not allowed ...." in a normal tone would have gone a long way. I won't be coming back to Joe's.

I came to Joe's for the Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press concert with some friends, and loved my entire experience here! Joe's itself has a large set up in the front, with plenty of seating and TVs to catch a sporting event. We grabbed a drink here before heading to the back room where the concert was being held. The concert was located in the very back in a separate area. They also had a section dedicated to a fun photobooth and merch. The band played an epic show that had my friends and I singing and dancing till the very last song. The sound quality and lighting were great - my sound engineer brother would've been impressed! Before the concert even started, the music was on point and they were playing The Office clips on the TVs which I thought was awesome. For how busy it was, the bartenders were never rude and very quick to serve. Drinks were also stupid cheap for what we were getting. Usually, bars upsell and overcharge during big events and concerts, but I didn't feel like that was the case at Joe's. I'd highly recommend this spot for a concert! We had such an amazing night here!

I'm shocked to see such low ratings. I'm throwing up five stars for my experience at Joe's! We had a great time here from start to finish. A little about the place- They have a spacious bar area right when you walk in with a bunch of high table seating and TVs that had various games on. For concerts, they have an entirely different area with a large stage, open dance floor, and two decently sized bars back there on both sides of the stage. They have bathrooms both in the front of the bar and the back by the concert area. They had a separate room in the back where they had a photo booth set up with a custom frame for the concert. Awesome touch! We came here to see Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press this past Saturday and snagged tickets at the door. I read online that they take credit card but once we got there the door man said they only took cash. Luckily there was a Chase with an ATM right across the street. The tickets were going for $35 but dropped to $20 the day of so we were happy about that! The bar- Every bar tender I encountered was pleasant. This place was packed once the concert started and I was really impressed with the positivity from the bar tenders and how quickly they were working. Way to go team! Also, very affordable pricing at the bar from being in Chicago. Mixed drinks were only $7 and beers were about that same price. The concert- The sound quality was fantastic. It filled up the entire bar so well. They also had the concert sound playing on the other side of the bar and I think they had it on some TVs over there also. The stage lighting was great and again, everything about the concert and band performing exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to come back and I recommend seeing a concert here!

There is an upstairs area that's a little more loungier whereas the downstairs can get more rowdy on game day. We came during the championship game, and this was the perfect spot to be. We came early to be able to snag some bar seats upstairs and enjoy multiple drinks and food. Drinks are great - some cocktails and beers are only offered downstairs. Food was a mix: Chimichurri cauliflower: smaller portion than I expected, nothing special I'd skip this dish. Ceasar salad: dressing is very heavy on the anchovy paste, otherwise good portion and veggies. Loaded fries: huge portion with lots of great toppings, though I wish their fries were more 'fry' like versus potato skin-like. Chicken tenders: I got this with sweet potato fries, and they were way too salty. The chicken tenders were 4 skimpy pieces of chicken, and I was charged for extra dipping sauces and ketchup. The spicy mango habanero and buffalo are good - skip the garlic parmesan. I will most definitely be back for the vibes, drinks, and service. I'm hoping the food is just working on some kinks and will get better the next time!

I had low expectations since this is a sports bar but this is probably the best chicken Caesar wrap I've had in my life. In light of how good this meal was I plan to return soon and try the rest of the menu. I also had a cocktail that was tasty and cheaper than some of the drinks on offer from nearby bars ($13).

There were a lot of TVs all around the bar, so you won't be tilting your head back to watch the game from any angle. Our server was new, but she did a great job with taking everyone's orders and also being very upfront about saying she will ask about the drafts on tap so she can give us an accurate drink selection. The food from Theory never disappoints. Last year, I had the Theory Burger and was delighted by how good it was. This year, I tried the Challah French Toast and it was pleasantly delicious. The Mac and Cheese was also a solid choice, and for $8, they provided a good amount of food! And that Chicken Parm Egg Roll...wow they were so good!! I was skeptical from the name, but this was like having a pizza roll but in egg roll form The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because Theory has severely up charged for the Champions League. I recall last year a reservation was $5/person, but this year they charged $15/person. For this reason, we came in at 9AM opening time for an 8-person table and were able to get one without having to pay the reservation fee. I really like how organized Theory is though, as a sports bar. Service has always been great and I may come again for another game!

If you've been to the old spot I'm talking about, you'll notice immediately that The Scout still has the beautiful, soaring ceilings, but they've also remodeled a chunk of the restaurant, which is great! We sat down pretty immediately at a table in the back of the restaurant - not too far from the (new) DJ booth, and our waitress was extremely kind and gave us prompt service. We were just hanging out, listening to the music, when the NFL Divisional playoff game that was on tonight came back on, and let me tell you, it was the loudest game audio I have ever heard in a bar, ever. I've been going to sports bars for most of my adult life, and I get that folks can get excited and loud and that's not what I'm talking about. The audio of just the announcers and players from the telecast were almost exceeding 100 dBA, slow, without the bar cheering. I've been an audio engineer for over 20 years, and that isn't too far off from the base level of what you'll experience at concerts at the United Center (102-110 dBA, slow). We asked twice if the zone that encompassed our area of the restaurant could be turned down - but nothing changed, so we took our food to go and left. It wasn't just "can't have a conversation" loud, it was "I can't think" loud. This place needs to do some system tuning (the example I'll give - if you go to a Yard House the environment is loud and lively but you can still hold a conversation at your table because the audio system is extremely well tuned). The food that we ate when we got home (Kids mac n cheese and buffalo wings) were exceptional, so that's why I'm not leaving a single star. I don't know if we'll be back, I was incredibly disappointed tonight.
