My wife's "half" of a chicken sandwich, which was huge!

My wife and I came across this place by pure luck and what a find it was! We had already chosen another place while traveling down the interstate, only to find out once we got there that it was closed for renovation! We saw Joe's by luck on our way back to the interstate, and man o man, was it good! I ordered the Hawaiian deep dish pizza, and my wife ordered a half chicken sandwich! I had a lot of my small deep dish left, and my wife had at least half of her "half sandwich" left also! We will definitely book mark this place when we head back to Michigan to visit our daughter and her family! Thank you, Joe's, not only for the quick friendly service but also for the delicious food you serve!

Place is friendly they close at 9 o'clock so beware it is not 10 or 11. Clean most of the tables were up at 8:40 any good pizza place is going to print before they close so they were just prepping to get out of here at a decent hour the staff was nice very attentive Did not use the potty so I don't know about that. I'm going to try the pizza sandwich and fried green beans

    Baked Mac n cheese

Saw a sign on I70 and thought we'd stop. So glad we did! Hubby had a chef salad, piled high when ham and cheese YUM! I had the baked Mac n cheese with chicken & bacon WOW! Wonderful food, clean place, friendly atmosphere and staff. Thanks for a great meal!!

    Meat lovers thin crust pizza

walked in stood around 3-4 minutes without being spoken too finally asked if I should seat myself was told that was fine. a few minutes later a group of 10 walked in and were immediately greeted and seated and drinks/food order taken before anyone ever came to my table. A server (Max) was rolling silverware and I assume realized how irritated i was and came over and took care of me and he was great the entire time. Pizza (meat lovers) was delicious. I would have gave 5 if it weren't for the first 10 minutes of my experience.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the country! We have been here probably 4 or 5 times…read moresince it opened. We have a place not far from here but live full time in Texas. My wife was spending some time up here and drove up to surprise her for her birthday! Reservations at the counter so we could watch Chef Geno work his magic! The food is usually spectacular and tonight did not disappoint! We split the Caesar Salad to start which was plenty. And then I had the Pasta Rags and my wife had the Pasta Carbonara. Both were as good as they looked! Perfection! No splitting dessert! I had the Tiramisu and she had the Chocolate Cake. Both to die for! It's byob so bring a nice bottle of wine and round out the experience. As Chef Geno says..."Cheaper than a plane ticket to Italy!"

The bad: The wait staff was not very engaged. I wanted this review to be about the food but that just wasn't meant to be. The Ugly: I am very well travelled on 3 continents. I've dined elegantly as well as from street vendors and I have NEVER had service that was this off putting to the point of being overtly rude, and I am an American who has eaten in France and doesn't speak much French. When we wouldn't sit at the bar, even though the main area was only 1/4 occupied They moved our party of 2 into the side room with chairs up on tables. It went downhill from there. Due to this, it wasn't possible to really enjoy what should have been a fine meal. I will say it is a wise policy to ask for payment and tip ahead of this type of service before it is provided.

I am writing about a delivery, so I can't comment on the restaurant itself. I took a star off because they did not provide any utensils or napkins in the delivery bag which made for a delayed meal since I had to go searching for a fork. The garden salad was very good. So crisp and fresh. The tomatoes were yummy, and I liked the surprise of celery amoungst the greens. The greens were mixed and not just iceberg which elevated the salad quite a bit. I always say I judge an Italian restaurant by their sauce, and this one was ok. Very sweet. Not thick. It wanted for something. I ordered the half portion of angel hair pasta, and it was still a very generous amount. I added a meatball which tasted more like an Italian sausage in a ball with a bit of spice and a chewier consistency. I wasn't mad at it, but it wasn't the seasoned ground beef crumble I expected. All in all, the meal was good, just lacking in some of things I expected from a place everyone seemed to like about it. I would probably go back and maybe try some of the other dishes next time I am in Terre Haute, if only to see if maybe it was just that order.

We waited maybe 10 minutes for a table on a Sunday afternoon. The service from everyone team member was friendly and prompt. The menu is extensive. We tried the catfish bites with a homemade dill forward tartar sauce and the fried green tomatoes with a spicy remoulade. They offer brunch on the weekends. We had pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. For the more savory palates, we ordered a burger, the ribeye, and the Capone. The burger was thick and juicy, the bun held up to all of the toppings. The ribeye sandwich is a full steak on a hoagie roll. The Boursin cheese made this a little too rich for me but an amazing sandwich nonetheless. The Capone is a burger interpretation of a parmigiana sandwich. Rich marinara, mozzarella cheese and grilled onions and mushrooms made for an amazing meal. We had a wonderful time. We plan to stop in again soon

The bar is very large so that's great. The tables in the back can be adjusted for large parties but the space next to them doesn't make it comfortable. I wish they would add more seasonings to their meals and perhaps more weekly specials.

She did get it taken off of our bill which was appreciated. Food was OK, but once the Customer Service experience starts to break down, it just doesn't taste as good as it probably would've. My coworker ordered a Caprese Panini and a Caesar salad. Obviously this wasn't my recommendation if you've read any of my other reviews! She said it was a great sandwich but wasn't a fan of the homemade chips. I was impressed that she didn't give me the stink eye when I explained my need to photograph her food :) I had the lunch portion of chicken parmesean that was really good. Nice portion of chicken and pasta and a great flavor - I would definitely order it again. Oddly, this came with a side of my choice just like the sandwich menu. Where else can I get a burger, a tenderloin, an order of onion rings and a fettuccine Alfredo all from the same place!?
