Pretty amazing little gem of a restaurant...the ambiance won't blow you away, but if you just want some heaping piles of pasta with all kinds of sauce and protein variations this is the place to get that fix. I was skeptical of all the seafood and sauce options but they seem to be able to mix in a variety of red/vodka/arrabiata/alfredo/ into a long list of pasta dish options that spans 3 pages. BYOB, nice and simple.

A few of us small town pple stuck in Springfield venture out every once in a while on a mission to find a good food spot out of town. One of us heard about this place and we were all in. What a jackpot! We were here on a Tuesday night early. We had the opportunity to interact with the owner, Trish. Trish comes by Italian heritage and foody talent that runs a few generations directly backwards to Italy. NOTHING in this place is out of a box, or campfire food you find in small town food "restaurants". The special was Chicken Florentine- ordered by one of us. Another had a baked sampler dish. Another had baked lasagna. I had a Chicken and Shrimp tetrazzini. Tiramisu for desert was light, and delicious! I have mixed emotions- as a business owner- would this place do SO MUCH BETTER in town? As a small town boy I am so proud of this new friend we made for committing to her community and counting on success- providing a great needed service LOCALLY, before running to a larger town for the $$. Edinburg should be very proud to have this quality of a spot. I hear the pizzas are awesome, brick oven fired. Will def be back. Thank you Trish! PS- OH! ...and the SWEET TEA- THAT might be from GEORGIA. Perfect.

Had a nice meal, friendly staff, tasty food. Very reasonable prices. Edinburgh is lucky to have such a good eatery in their small town.

Not much of an Italian eater myself, but this place was really good! The garlic rolls and tiramisu were easily a 10/10. Service was also fast and very attentive. I think the alfredo tortellini would do better without the large chucks of garlic, but that's just me. Still a solid place!

Stay in Springfield. Poor food quality. Terrible service. Yelling and screaming at customers mostly.

You can see the love and care…read morethat goes into every dish that is prepared as well as the personal treatment they give to every guest. We met the owner, who cooks many of their signature dishes, his daughter who manages the restaurant, and his granddaughter who was the hostess that night. We happened to be traveling through the area, celebrating our 50th anniversary, and they went out of their way to make it a memorable night for us! The restaurant has the feeling of a your smaller, neighborhood Italian restaurant that makes their dishes from recipes that have been passed down from one generation to the next. By the time we left, they made us feel like we were part of their extended family, if only for an evening. And when you're traveling on the road, that's a mighty nice feeling! Do yourself a favor, the next time you are in the area, plan on making this a destination. It's well worth it! (Consider making a reservation or at least calling ahead because they are pretty popular.)

The bad: The wait staff was not very engaged. I wanted this review to be about the food but that just wasn't meant to be. The Ugly: I am very well travelled on 3 continents. I've dined elegantly as well as from street vendors and I have NEVER had service that was this off putting to the point of being overtly rude, and I am an American who has eaten in France and doesn't speak much French. When we wouldn't sit at the bar, even though the main area was only 1/4 occupied They moved our party of 2 into the side room with chairs up on tables. It went downhill from there. Due to this, it wasn't possible to really enjoy what should have been a fine meal. I will say it is a wise policy to ask for payment and tip ahead of this type of service before it is provided.

The atmosphere felt dated, with dark wood-paneled walls and a dining room that seemed geared toward an older crowd. That's not necessarily a negative, but the food was the bigger disappointment. We started with the bruschetta ($14.50), which was not what we expected. Instead of a traditional bruschetta, it was essentially sesame-seed bread topped with olive tapenade, red onions, tomatoes, and olives. It lacked freshness and balance. I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo ($26.00), and it was simply bland. The baby shrimp, fettuccine, and Alfredo sauce came together in a dish that was forgettable and lacked flavor. My husband and son were similarly underwhelmed by their meals. The baked ravioli was probably the best thing we ordered, but even that wasn't particularly memorable. The house salads arrived swimming in Italian dressing, and the house cabernet did nothing to improve the meal. Overall, the food felt dated, heavy, and uninspired. We left wondering how a restaurant with such a strong reputation could serve food that seemed stuck decades in the past. Unfortunately, this is not a place we'll be returning to.

The ambiance was welcoming and made you feel like you were definitely in an Italian restaurant. It was a little loud but not to a point where it was unbearable. We started with some Itialian lemon tea and peach tea that were unbelievably tasteful. We also had to try the black cherry cane soda that was so flavorful. NEW YEARS SALAD was so good and everything in the salad seemed to be of high quality. I wish there was a little more dressing but overall the amount of dressing would prob be great for the normal person. I ordered the FUSILLI AL PESTO and it was so good. I added shrimp to it and it went well with the flavor. The bread they bring out was so soft and delicious. We could have eaten another loaf. We also ordered the pizza and it was so good. The kids ate the whole pizza and said we have to come back here again. I have to say the pizza was not like any other pizza in town. The parking can be a bit tough but absolutely worth trying to find a spot.
