My MIL had heard that Joe's Pizza was rated as one of the best in the state and kept asking if we had tried it since moving into the area 18 months ago. I needed to run to the Shop Rite to pick up a few things so I decided to swing by Joe's and order a large plain pie. The guy behind the counter greeted me as though I was a regular and have been there a hundred times. There are roughly 6-8 tables if you choose to dine in. The ambiance inside is your stereotypical pizza place. They're also on DoorDash and Slice, though not everything on their menu may be found on DD/Slice (e.g., the garlic knots are on Slice but not DD). read more

Simply the best! The food is always spot on delicious! The service is great both ordering on the phone and in person. They are always upbeat and helpful. Ordering for delivery is easy but the wait usually an hour or so to receive your order bcz they are so busy, indicative of their popularity! Totally worth the wait! It's a little pricey but again very worth the money! We have been ordering from Joe's for a couple of decades and will continue to go there. It's unfortunate they are closed on Monday! The food is always top notch, whether ordering a full meal to eat in, pizza for stay or go, or you are starving for a great cheese steak. The larger cheese steak sandwich is definitely enough for two, but if you are starving and have the room in your stomach, go for the whole thing yourself. I love most of the pizza that they offer, and I don't think I have ever had a bad slice. I'm not local, but do go to Flemington quite a bit, as most of us in Hunterdon County do, so I simply call ahead and order, so it is ready once I get down there. Great employees who have a knack of making you feel like a regular. Now closed on Sunday, but not a terrible thing as long as you remember to stop by on Saturday to take it home. I drive the 25-30 minutes because it is predictably just as I ordered, and hey, the people down there remember my name. There is seating to eat in, but if it is supper time, you may find all seats taken. I have eaten Italian all over Hunterdon County, but this is the best at what they do - good food, great flavor, fair prices, and wonderful staff. When it is good, don't try to fix it! read more

I ordered the grandma pie with pepperoni and onions and their chicken soup. The grandma pie is the best! My first time trying this restaurant and it won't be my last. Pizza was cooked.
