I ordered the Italian sandwich and it was good, but spilly, so I used knife and fork. The dressing was sweet, the red sauce was not. Both were good. Love the open kitchen and wood fired pizza! Seating is a bit awkward and cramped and the servers seemed to spend more time conversing with one another than customers. We ordered the Polpette for an appetizer as recommended by our server. We were not a fan. The meatballs were dry and uneven temp. We ordered the Classico and a pepperoni and banana pepper pizza. The pizza and Classico were so good! The small, crispy pepperonis are our favorite! While we don't recommend the Polpette, we definitely recommend their pizzas! read more

Food was delicious . We shared a Viva Las Vegas pizza which was the best pizza I have had in a long time. The Cabernet and beer went well with our pizza. Katie our waitress was friendly , personable and very efficient . We sat at the bar where we were able to watch the staff assemble and bake the pies. They were wonderful to watch and they had such a great rapport with one another. I had heard about this place from my sister and I am so glad we decided to stop in and try it. Closest thing I've had to Neapolitan style pizza than the real thing. Pizza had a perfect amount of char, sauce, cheese, everything! Highly recommend the polpette pizza. Fair warning though, these are traditional Neapolitan pies so they are really only enough for 1-2 people. read more

I am new to the Cincinnati area and my fiancé and I have been searching for our favorite local pizza joint.... I think we might have found it! The pizza is phenomenal. I love the simple ingredients, the flavor, and of course the wood-fired flavor. The service was great as well, Katie was our server and was honestly one of the best servers I've ever had! The pizzas are super delicious. We ordered 4 different pizzas and an order of meatballs. The meatballs were delicious. The pizzas were really good. One of them came to the table literally wet and raw in the middle. It took so long to get our order that we didn't bother asking for a new one. The food and service at Joe's Pizza Napoli is incredible! Their mouth watering authentic Italian cuisine is so delicious and their wood-fired pizza is to die for. There are endless fresh and savory toppings to choose from. Even the pizza crusts are delicious! The restaurant is inviting and clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We drive almost an hour to get to the restaurant. It has been a lot of fun to go see a movie at Milford Cinemas and then top it off with an exquisite Italian meal for dinner! Friends had a get-together here. Wow! This may be my favorite pizza place all-time. (My first Chicago deep dish, in Chicago was always the high water mark but it has been replaced after 35 years.). At our table we had pepperoni and sausage -covered edge to edge. (I did not try it since pepperoni and I do not 'agree' with rack other.). Those who partook declared it excellent. I had one of the artisan pizzas, pistachio pesto; amazing! Another friend had olives and capers. No stinting on toppings! The staff was so friendly and took great care of us. Comfy dining area. I liked the simplicity of the wall groupings, black on white, which read 'flour, water, salt and yeast'. Oh, and the desserts (my favorite part of a meal). Cannoli and tiramisu. I just had to try both. The tiramisu was melt in your mouth. The cannoli was quite tasty as well. I know this seems against the grain, but it is two adults' experience. First, Kelly, our server, was terrific. She should have her income doubled and made manager. Frankly the pizza was subpar. I've had better at Blaze. Got the Mary with arugula and Polpette. Both forgettable. Soggy, chewy crust, below average taste on the red sauce. The bianca is supposed to be 8 cheese, but I'd be hard pressed to determine that, plus it was cheese light. Wish this wasn't our experience. For $20 a pizza, there are plenty of places that top this one. Not a hater, just our first and last time to try this particular place. read more

Sacrilege I know, but the best pizza in town is in a strip mall in Milford. Get over it, haters and city hipsters. I don't really want to go to Milford, but I will for this pizza. This a smallish place in a plaza with a pawn shop and a Thai restaurant. It is across the street from a "Christian" credit union (could anything be more Milford? What did Jesus think about money-changers?). There is usually enough parking in the lot. It is a small space, but there is usually not a huge wait. There are tables a few barstools. A limited selection of beer and wine. Good service. The food is the highlight! The menu focuses on pizza, but the salads and meatballs are good too. The pizza is fantastic! It is cooked in a giant wood fired oven and comes out fast, crispy, and HOT. If you sit at the bar, you'll watch some teens working their butts off to keep up with the need for crust, sauce, and topics. And another employee with a pizza peel moving pies in and out of that oven as fast as possible. My go to is the Vesuivius. I love this pizza. read more

I've spoken to the owners and the staff about food and travel. They are all super nice and hold a great convo. They are very passionate about the food here. I love pizza, especially Neapolitan pizza. So prior to relocation I did a lot of research to look for Neapolitan pizza in Cincinnati and I found this place! The location is a little bit far from us but luckily we were around the area as we were picking some things up nearby and I suggested we go here just because I had it bookmarked and I love pizza. A very cozy atmosphere and really nice staff. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and my husband ordered the Roma pizza and both were very good. We made the mistake of ordering the two just because they were somewhat similar in regards of toppings, but next time we'll order something different from each other lol. My husband is interested in ordering the margarita pizza and I will be probably ordering the carbonara pizza next time. Ordered 3 pizzas for carryout, sent my son to pick up. He checked the receipt (a few days later) and he was charged for 3 pizza and 2 gelatos (at $10 each). No gelatos were ordered nor received. He went to the establishment to advise them of the error. They took his name and number, and the girl who called him claimed he asked her about the gelatos flavors which was a blatant lie. Will not do business there again. And Always always check your receipt. Lesson learned the hard way for my son and I am out $20 read more

My husband and I had a recent date night here. The weather was amazing, so we sat outside on their patio. The service was amazing. We shared a chicken bacon ranch pizza. It was really good!! The appetizer we got (pepperoni rolls) was a little disappointing, but still good. My favorite part of the meal was dessert. I had previously seen their dessert pizza and wanted to try it. Our server said they don't do it anymore but she would ask. They agreed to make me one. OH MY GOSH!!!! It was amazing! Nutella and strawberries on a wood fired crust....yes please! Not sure why they don't make them anymore but they should bring it back. We will be back to try other pizzas. read more

The menu offers pizza, calzones, salads, and desserts. Everything is made in house and after one bite and you can tell that they aren't lying. The drink selection is expansive and offers Peroni and Limoncello Italian favorites of mine. The ambiance is casual and welcoming and a nice spot to bring the family. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with a partially covered patio, perfect for spring dining. Tips to make your visit a success: 1) Don't let the distance deter you. This restaurant is located in Milford which can be a drive for some but trust me it is worth the gas. You won't find better pizza in the area. 2) Their specialty pizzas are special and different. Arugula on pizza may not sound appealing but after having their Viva Las Vegas pizza, I can honestly say it belongs. They really take pizza up a notch and it's all for our benefit. 2 or 3 years ago I would say this place had the best pizza in Cincinnati. But my last visit was not good. Prices are way up and they are really skimping on the topping portions to the point that I felt cheated. Ordered extra cheese and I either did not get it or you could probably see the crust with the regular portion. All the cheese and toppings were towards the center of the pizza leaving 2 or 3 inches of crust around the outside. Hopefully Management corrects this....customers are not stupid. read more

This was very disappointing and is not a good representation of Napoleatian-style pizza. The margherita didn't have much cheese. The pizzas didn't puff up around the edge of the crust. The pizza was very dry and crackery in places. The best I can say is that the combination of toppings on the Verdure pizza (red pepper, goat cheese, and mushroom was tasty. Every pizzeria has a bad day, but the pizzas I got didn't look nearly as good as the online photos that drew me in.
