Our second time there. One of the best features: Great cozy atmosphere, whether you come as a couple or with a family. Also, we came on a Friday evening, and although it was crowded, the staff seemed to handle this smoothly. I ordered a pizza and it was truly incredible (Veg). My husband ordered pasta w/ marinara, but we were not so impressed. We'll probably return and try other dishes, though. We chose to eat at the bar where service was okay. I say okay because it was clear the bartender wanted us to leave. When we were done w/ our meals, she slid our check toward us, not even asking if we wanted dessert, not thanking us, not anything. I had the specialty pizza, Foxy Shazam. It was a garlic base pizza sauce with mozzarella, feta, egg, yolk, and tomatoes. So delicious! My cousin and I split a Caesar salad that was fresh and tasty! Padrino is spacious with indoor seating , and outdoor seating. I opted for the bay since it wasn't crazy busy in a Saturday afternoon . The garlic knots were a hit . I don't love the chicken Parmesan. It is large portion . However the chicken is pre breaded , it taste similar to a tv dinner. I also think it lacked sauce. I would get a side salad f marinara in the future. ( I showed it boxed the 1/2 o didn't finish ) . This place has been in my list , however I want to go back to try the pizza . I have never eaten in the restaurant. I have done carryout and Doordash with my family. Overall the food is very good and the prices are reasonable. They are higher of course on Doordash. Some times when ordering on Padrino's website you get free delivery if you order $60. Friday night (2 days ago) it wasn't there so we did doordash. The meatballs are very good. We ordered a Pepperoni pizza. I was disappointed in it; especially when it's over $20. I thought it was an average pizza with little cheese. My wife and son liked it. I would rather get a large Papa John's pizza for $10. I have gotten the chicken parmigiana twice now. It comes with a ton of Spaghetti. It is enough for a dinner and lunch with noodles to spare. It is good not great. The salads were very good and large - Caprese and feta with cranberries and mixed greens (I can't remember the name). The large appetizer for over $20 was not worth it. Yes you got 2 meatballs but the fried mozzarella and fried zucchini were bad. The garlic bread was small and average at best. My son and wife got pasta dishes. My wife's vodka sauce didn't have much flavor. Our bill 2 days ago was $150. I would not call it worthy of that price but the food in itself deserves 3.5 stars upgraded to 4. read more

Food was so good and the back patio on a sunny day was a perfect way to end a workday. Great selection of craft beers, pasta and pizza. Appetizer sampler is a must try if you want a starter. We had the lasagna, manicotti, vodka and sauce tortellini. Would order any of them again. Stopped by for take out at lunchtime on a Friday. The first thing I noticed as I walked up is that they have a window open to the street to give the inside a nice patio feel. This was my first time in, so the bartender gave me a menu to check out and then came back shortly to get my order of a meatball sandwich. It took about 15 or 20 minutes to get it so I might call ahead next time if carrying out, but that small wait was definitely worth it. The meatballs were tasty, as was the sauce. Had a mid week lunch there. Pretty quiet and not too crowded (easy street parking!). Service was attentive and pleasant, spaghetti and meatballs were really good. Pasta was al dente good, meatballs were tender and flavorful, marinara was thick but not chunky (housemade). Added the "garlic knot" for the heck of it and glad I did - it was soft and tasty but not too large, and complemented the meal well. For a good meal the price was fair, and the meal was good so I call it very fair! Spacious inside with plenty of tables, the vibe is clearly a neighborhood one. We had a great experience at Padrino! We came in on a Friday night around 6:30 with a group of four and had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, so I would recommend making a reservation if you know beforehand you are coming. We started off with the garlic knots which were delicious, and you can add a single garlic knot to your order for $1.50, so I'd highly recommend doing so! For entrees, I got the chicken carbonara pasta and it was delicious. The grilled chicken was perfect texture and the sauce had great flavor. I tried some pizza as well and it was some of the best pizza I've had. It's a nicer restaurant, but also the kind of place to come in with families and it is very affordable given the quality and service. Additionally, it's in a very cute area in downtown Milford with an ice cream parlor next door. I would highly recommend Padrino, as it's a perfect place for families, friends, and has incredible food! read more

Very good filling food for dinner. Good Italian pizza and super nice staff. They were able to remember the peppers and Parmesan for our pizza. They have an interesting drink menu which I would love to come back and try as we had wine tonight that was very sweet. Overall a very good meal that we were able to sit outside and enjoy our food with great weather in the front of the restaurant. They do have a back porch to eat at for more outdoor seating and have a nice bar for drinking at. Their menu has a bunch of options to choose from but isn't too overwhelming. read more

The food is usually pretty good depending on the time you go. Wouldn't recommend going an hour and an half before closing as staff gets pretty rude and your food is usually close. The waiter definitely forgot about it and I had to remind him. So I got it with my entree which I hate. I don't want to drink a martini with my pasta. -We ordered salads but never got them. I just want to say I am such a fan of their thin crust pizza. It had a great balance garlic, basil, sauce and cheese. This is a pretty popular place so please come with patience if you are to order food here. The staff was attentive and kind throughout the entire meal. They handled dinner rush very well for a Saturday afternoon. Despite the wait, the food came out fresh. Their mixed drinks were something special as well! I loved their Adult Swim drink and will likely order it again if I find myself in Milford ready to dine in. Came here on a Friday night because I was looking for chicken alfredo because if you have a craving, you go get it! Lol. There's definitely a vibe here and it's like young college students and local families which is interesting lol. It was pretty busy so we sat at the bar because they still provide full service and I was super hungry. The menu is very interesting and I don't know if I would really consider this authentic Italian food but it does the job and it's pretty good. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it came out super quick, it needed a little bit of salt and more Parmesan cheese which I was able to add and all was good. My husband ordered the chicken "carbonara" and that was really interesting. True carbonara is pasta, egg, pecorino and/or parmesan cheese, with guanciale. Their version of carbonara was Alfredo sauce with bacon, peas, and parmesan which was really interesting but my husband enjoyed it even though it wasn't true carbonara. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread with marinara sauce and I have to say I really like that lol. I felt like that was the star of our dinner. I was surprised business was pretty slow. I know that they have a popular business. There's only a couple of places to eat in the area many of which were closed at the time. Everything was really good. The garlic knots that aren't shown are hot and good. The chicken was so tasty. I wish I had ordered chicken fingers. The bacon on the club was so crisp and the vegetables were fresh and tasty. They have a sauce that tasted pretty standard, it's kind of watery too. Seating was no problem. They have a bar and television. They are also one of the only places on the strip with a restroom. I want to go back more often to try more menu items since everything was very tasty. read more

So because everything we ordered, on a Friday night, was on point. Like really yummy. Imma give it 5 stars! We ordered the ceasar salad - great dressing, garlic knots - great bake and large pizza - sausage/mush for my man and fresh spinach/banana peppers on mine. I'm a NY pizza snob (and garlic knot snob) and this was a homerun. It is a different flavor sauce that I'm used to and it didn't suck. Tonight my friend who recently recovered from ankle surgery wanted pasta she heard about Padrino in Downtown Milford so we stopped by and we're seated right away. We were then welcomed by John who gave us time to review the menu. We started with the fried mozzarella mezzaluna's ravioli shaped version of mozzarella sticks with homemade marinara sauce. John told us a crew comes in every morning making the restaurants sauces from scratch & you could tell delicious Then to the main dishes there were a variety of pastas to choose from my friend selected chicken Parmesan and I eventually decided on lasagna. John said it's very cheesy which I love. Our food came out of the kitchen minutes later hot, loved the lasagna was in its own crock container and the chicken Parmesan was huge with 2 chicken breasts. The lasagna was delicious hot, warm & cheesy, it had meat, but could have used a bit more & some more marinara sauce. We also enjoyed garlic knots too. This is just a great little comfortable neighborhood spot! A lovely outdoor patio, and great service. John was our server and couldn't have been more pleasant! There's plenty of parking around back, so don't let the narrow cute Main Street worry you. Started with a delicious Aperol Spritz- generous delicious drink!
