Good casual quick Italian. We enjoy the pasta dishes for a casual lunch. We also like the pepperoni pinwheels.

Stopped by here at last minute to grab a couple slices on my way to work. Tuesday night and not very busy. I knew they sold it by the slice sink could probably get in and out in under 10 minutes. Only one person ahead of me and I chose a supreme slice and ricotta slice with spinach and big chunks of feta type cheese. A little pricey at almost $12 for two slices. I could get a whole pizza for that. But they were big slices. Watched them throw it in the oven and patiently waited. After a few minutes they boxed it up and I had a long drive 1/2 mile to work. Took my first bite into the supreme and a little disappointed. The mushrooms were obviously canned and the bottom crust was soggy. This slice was "meh". The second slice was a little better. The bottom crust was actually harder and the taste was good. Not a great value for the price and the taste was just ok.

    Pinwheels

So I did an online order for the pinwheels, the picture online is attached to this review and as you can see it shows 2 pinwheels. I placed 2 orders of them assuming I would get 4. Due to the image on the menu. I was only given 2 so I went back and asked if there was a mistake with the order but he said that only come in singles not doubles. So it's 1 per order. Very misleading picture and the customer service wasn't the nicest when talking to me about the issue :/

Joes used to be the best pizza place haven't been in 2yrs. Sad to see what it's become I'll never come back, ordered toppings on my slice they were just tossed on with 3 shredded tiny pieces of cheese, the pinwheels the bottom was rock hard from 1/2" of burnt. Dominos is now better quality and dominos pizza isn't great.

The world needs more places like this. The vibe is authentic and the Employees especially the owner seems very nice and appreciative of our service. This place does not take advantage of the location.. must visit , must order , a must.

The food was awful. Our sandwich had so little meat we put meat from one half to the other. The chicken piccata Was overloadded with lemon the acidity was burning my esophagus. The chicken slices were dry! All the benches have tears in them.

The first time that I came I wasn't too impressed with the green chile mac & cheese pizza but this next time after ordering something new, my expectations were blown away. We ordered the queen margherita pizza with the gluten free crust and the chicken parmesan pasta and everything was AMAZING. The pizza was cooked to just the right crisp with a very flavorful sauce, and the chicken parmesan had a perfectly cooked chicken with cheese on top and a delicious chicken alfredo pasta with 2 pieces of bread. The cooks were on it that night! Not only was our food amazing but our waiter did his job extremely well and was very personable. It was a 10/10 service and we will definitely be coming back!

We were brought upstairs to this little loft area, which felt....like we were being punished. Now we were only a 2 top, so I can understand that they may not have a spot or wanted us to take up a 4-top on a Saturday night, but it felt...CRAMPED up there. This place really does seem fun, but it was very hard to enjoy it up in the attic... As far as the restaurant, it was very clean and well kept, no issues with how everything looked. Nothing was really out of place, although it did feel like the upstairs was a storage area. We ordered the Killer Queso for an appetizer, which was served with fritos. Odd choice for fritos, but hey, all good, didnt take away from the appetizer. What took away from the appetizer was the fact that this felt like it was heated up from a can. The cheese was not really seasoned well and it was already clumpy, like it had been left out for a while. Then we ordered 2 pizzas; The Bees Knees (spicy red sauce, hot soppressata, fresh moz, basil, honey) and Local Goat & Fig (bacon, goat cheese, free moz, dried figs, balsamic glaze, basil). Here is where I continue to say that pizza is a very opinionated meal, so your taste may differ, but this was my take. Flavor was there, I liked the pizza, it had a nice crispy crust, however, as far as the bee's knees, there was no spicy that pizza at all, like zero heat. The Goat & Fig was good, like the flavors they put on that pizza. The crust did lack some flavor and could have used some olive oil maybe. There was a nice crispy to the crust, like I said, but ZERO crisp on the bottom of it, which is odd. they had a nice wood fired oven (at least I think it was wood, hard to tell from the attic). So you thin they could get a nice bottom, but hey, it is what it is. Drinks. Had a OB Hef and also a Prickly Pear Mule, both were DIVINE, best part of the evening! Staff. Well, lets just say, she started off like she was going to be fun, but really felt like we were annoying her to have been seated up there. I could understand with having to walk up and down a narrow staircase with food and drinks. She must have passed us 5-6 times and we had not touched any more of our pizza. She finally did bring us a box for it. Overall, price was not bad, the drinks were awesome, the service was meh and the meal was meh. I think that this place could be KILLING IT, and maybe it was just an off night, perhaps we will try it again with a bigger party to see how it is.

He replied "yeah you got that" I went and sat down & about a minute in the waitress approached us and asked if we checked in. I tried to explain the situation and she cuts me off "it doesn't work that way, you need to pickup your food and leave" then walks off to attend the other tables before I can explain. I try to get her attention again for a few more minutes & she's avoiding me walking around the section where I'm sitting. Then she asks someone if there's "anyone who needs seats" and grabs 2 menus & approaches the table again, this time I explain the whole situation & she gives a half assed apology & tells me she has "2 people who need this table now." I relent & go back to wait by the door. After another 6 minutes of waiting our food gets brought to the dining room by another server & she has to go find us by the front door. Now I'm eating in my car, the fries are delicious & perfectly crispy with a soft fluffy inside. The pepperoni pizza is delicious with some nice small slices of pepperoni so they aren't split between bites. & the burger tastes pretty good, the patty is well toasted & the brioche bun is a nice touch. The food is fantastic which is a bummer because I don't think I'll be frequenting this location if service continues to be like this. However I believe it can be improved with just more communication & a united front & listening to someone when they're talking & not walking off mid conversation. I will not try & pretend like I am not at fault here because I did complicate things when I tried to dine in after ordering to-go, but there are better ways to deal with these things. Thank you for reading, please have a good day! -Ryan

The business grew and he opened a handful of other locations around the country. Ambiance: The restaurant is casual, but had a lot of intentional use of the space. She was so kind as we danced around the idea of sitting on the patio vs indoors. The patio only had about 2 seats and it was windy that day. We decided to sit inside. Michelle was very friendly, and came by often to check in on us. Food: The pizzas are made in-house and very thin, just like the ones I've had in Italy. The pizza blended Spanish/Mexican and Italian cuisines together by mixing Spanish chorizo, avocado, jalapeño, with ricotta, fresh tomatoes, and Italian Parmesan cheese. I didn't know what to expect from a pizza food truck, but I can tell you that it was GOOD! Of course, if you wanted to sample multiple toppings it is awesome that they also sell by the slice! They are strictly a food truck at this point - no brick and mortar restaurant. I'm funny about my pizza crust. I like a thin crust, but not one that is crisp like a cracker. Even it the bottom crust is good I typically leave the outer edges. This pizza had a great crust all the way through and I even ate the edges. The sauce was flavorful without being overpowering. There was a sufficient amount of pepperoni (although is there really a thing as too much pepperoni?) and cheese. Altogether a great pizza, and one that I would order even if I was in a brick and mortar restaurant! We also got a slice of the lemon ricotta cake. That was ok, but it is unlikely I would order it again. The flavor was great but overall it was pretty dry. I'm not deducting a star because I was there for the pizza and that was the star of the show! Sorry, no pics today - we already polished off the entire pie!
