Was in town for work and was recommended this local spot. Bummed I found out about it on my last day there, but was sure to stop on my way out of town. Bummer!!! The espresso was lacking in flavor. Americano was seriously the worst I ever had because they use way to much water. The man's vanilla latte could give you an instant cavity! Sooooo sweet!! Both dranks we couldn't taste the espresso. Bummer. read more

The food and coffee were delicious! We had a couple bagel sandwiches, cinnamon roll, and coffees. The service was top notch; the manager Ashlyn and all the staff were working hard to take care of everyone and they were all so helpful, had great attitudes, and made our experience fantastic. The ambiance was warm and comfortable. There's a decent amount of seating, people were playing games, catching up, reading... overall highly recommend and this will forever be our #1 pit stop as we pass through town. read more

The staff was very nice. Coffee was great! The sandwich was nice and hot, however, the eggs on inside-out bagels tasted like a premade egg mixture. I would recommend skipping the egg and just get the bagel and cream cheese. read more

First time trying this shop out and we were not disappointed. We were passing through during our camping trip. And let me tell you, the coffee is amazing. And they have all kinds of different drinks to choose from.. I got a triple shot iced white mocha. And both my boyfriend and I got the biggle breakfast. Started my morning with an Americano, decent flavor and the right level of hot. Had a blueberry scone and white chocolate cranberry scone that I split with my partner; kinda flavorless, but the berries were fresh at least. Came back through town (delivering belongings to a relative that moved) just minutes before closing (4pm, Saturday), got a dark chocolate half-sweet, oatmilk mocha.... Can taste the quality...bought a bag of their dark roast beans take home! I'll be sure to stop here my next several trips through! read more

I love this local coffee shop, my friend and I go here often to do some work and get some chai latte. They have wifi for customers and exceptional prices. They also have a drive thru, which makes it convenient for people that are in a hurry. It's never packed, always space to sit. It's nice to get out of the house to get some work done. This place is so hit and miss. I really like the blended drinks but they aren't consistent in making them. Sometimes it's watery, or sometimes like wayyy to much chocolate syrup that no one asked for?????? And don't get me started on the espresso. I gave up on getting that years ago. It's super watery and tastes kinda dirty. It tastes like they aren't cleaning the machines, not tamping hard enough and are probably running 30 second espresso shots which should be 60 second. No one is properly trained in the ART OF ESPRESSO IYKYK. The bagels are good if you call ahead but they don't cut them in half. Seriously I don't know anyone that just wants to start mowing down on a giant bagel sandwich like that. I also used to like getting the smoothing bowls but sometimes they would be too tart or too watery, so gave up on that. My biggest take away is this business has a serious issue with quality control. I happily stopped going here and make everything at home. I love saving the money. If this place could take it up a couple notches in quality control I would happily start spending money there, all the employees are very nice and friendly. read more

This place is completely worth the stop. They coffee is amazing. The breakfast sandwiches are great. There were 5 adults and two kids in our group when we visited. We all give this place two thumbs up and will be stopping again the next time we come through. They have a drive up window but we opted to dine in. We came for a drive thru snack. So haven't had any if their drinks yet but my daughter says they're excellent. I got an Inside Out Bagel Sandwich. It's cut in half and grilled. You get you choice of topping but some cost extra like avocado. I got cream cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. It was good but it could have used alot more cream cheese for a 4.00 bagel. My daughter had a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You get your choice of bread either sour dough or multi grain. It looked good and she said it was delicious. You can't be in a hurry at the drive thru. We had to wait a while for our 2 sandwiches. read more

Joe's is my favorite coffee spot in Susanville! Their food is absolutely amazing! I have had their Berry bowls, their delicious toasted peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and today got to experience my first inside out bagel! And Omg was it amazing! It was an inside-out Pesto bagel with mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes on a parmesan bagel! It was so beyond delicious that I literally didn't take a picture of it until my very last little bite I had left! Lol Support local, family owned business! Was disappointed with the servers. A lady was in front of me who came in from drive Thru and was trying to explain she didn't like the sprinkles on the scone but the server had an attitude and just kept telling her they don't do refunds. Instead of offering a replacement of something she might like. The poor customer walked out frustrated and left her scone at counter. Plus I saw the other server pull out a muffin that seemed to be moldy and she proceeded to throw it away. read more

Just needed a mocha for the long drive between Reno and Seattle area. Good coffee, excellent service, the treats looked wonderful but I'm not hungry so didn't try any. The last three times I've been to this location I've received Luke warm coffee. The last two times I asked for extra hot and one time I asked if to be hotter and still got it back as Luke warm. They leave the back door wide open so flys could come in. I would not recommend this place to others!! read more

Waiting for coffee now. This review is for the drive thru wait. Two cars in front of us and we've been here maybe ten minutes. One gal came out and took the order of the car in front of us and not us. It does appear there are four cups that were made but really? Lots of convo taking place and we're still waiting. After taking the order ahead of time it still took them forever with that car. Finally a gal comes out and takes our order. Then she went in and put in the order (how efficient is that?) and comes back out and takes the order behind us. When we eventually got to the window our order is done. Whoever that little gal was seemed to know how to keep the line flowing. We just got two Americanos and they are hot so I'm not sure how they taste yet but they are Americanos so pretty sure you can't go wrong and they'll be great. read more
