The selection is diverse--ranging from classic tin toys to rare action figures and timeless board games. Every inch holds something different, and it's clear that the owner has a real passion for curating these treasures for a great price. I would not recommend bringing little ones here as it packed full & could easily be a hazard waiting to happen with little hands lol. The staff waited on customers for at least 3-4 hours limiting 4 per person to insure everyone was able to take some home. The line was orderly and the staff was wonderful even with zero breaks and a line wrapped through the store and outside.

I was willing to spend a decent amount of money at their store but they're too lazy to communicate with each other or keep track of stock?

On to the review of the comic shop...This place has a lot going for it, graphic novels rack with 30% off, tee-shirts, wall comic books (expensive sought after comic books that are fun to look at on the wall) and what appears to be a large back issue stock. I was killing some time and only bought a comic book oversized sleeve with a backing to protect the first appearance of Shadow Moon Premiere issue 23. I recommend you stop in as they have everything from Alf put together figures to very nice pieces of art work detailing comic book icons. Very glad this store isn't too far away but if I am being honest I buy 99% of my comics online. Great selection of toys, comics (current issues line the walls, lots of back issues, and lots of wall books for serious collectors), a lot of trades (which are really well organized which is something that I think a lot of comic shops don't do nearly as well as they should - these guys do!). They also have a nice selection of Hot Toys and statues, as well as tshirts. What puts this place over the edge? The staff. This is not your stereotypical comic shop staff (which, to be fair, is not as common nowadays as when I was a kid) where the clerks would look at anyone who came in that wasn't a regular as an outsider to be shunned. These guys make all feel welcome, even those who know nothing of these nerdly delights. I've seen them help moms search for something for their kids as intently as regulars looking for a new book to try. The best thing I can relay, though, is a time I went with my son - we walked in, were greeted as we did, and went about perusing the store. As we walked around, one of the clerks came over to us, asked if it was ok to give something to my son, and gave him a little plastic Flash ring. It wasn't fancy but it was a touching gesture that made me and my son feel welcome, even moreso than we already had. So if you're looking for a comic book shop, this is your place!

I will say that most of the staff is very nice and helpful! Usually all the time I come in and they're very chatty and friendly. The first book event I went to was a little disorganized. I think they need like signs or something to say, "check in at the register first". I think the staff was maybe confused and a little hesitant or shy to speak up which made navigating the event a bit frustrating. The second one I went to was better but was more or less because I knew the drill. Otherwise on a regular day it is always very clean and organized, they do have a small kids section which is nice. This location is small. There is minimal seating and I'll still go to the one in Montgomeryville to meet friends and have coffee. The rumor was they weren't having a cafe because Whole Foods was - but Whole Foods doesn't. It's small and tight and definitely more maze like to fit everything in. But they always have nice displays and it's usually pretty easy to find what you're looking for. The proximity to my house is the biggest convenience as before the only options were willow grove or Montgomeryville which also both are pretty traffic-y areas. I will also say , it's weird that the sign doesn't light at night. It looks like it's closed when it isn't.

The probably is that due to some stuff being worked on at their house, we really didn't have a place we could set it up. So we wanted to find somewhere we could chill and play. So the cool part about this place is that they have tons of tables you can use and they aren't going to charge you like some places. If they are using them for tournaments then there are requirements, but on a regular night you can come right in and play games here. They have plenty of beverages in their cooler for sale and the prices are insanely reasonable too. As for store stock, they don't have a ton of gaming stuff. I would say this place is 80% venue for gamers and 20% stock items for sale. Definitely come here if you need somewhere to play, just give em a call first to make sure it's not tournament night.
