So we went to customer service to talk to them since we had travelled a bit out of our way just for a lamp. Ha! They looked up their other stores and found it at one on the east coast. So they are having it shipped to this particular store and will call me when it is in. They were so nice and went out of their way to find the product I was really wanting. Superb customer service! The buildings were once barns and homestead housing of an old farm. They stand in a semi-circle which frames a makeshift courtyard hold art that relates to its original purpose. This configuration makes a natural connection between the shops, a traffic flow guiding visitors in the front of one shop and out the side where the next awaits. Out front was a horse and buggy. It was a large horse. I don't know whether this was part of the places decoration or an Amish visitor or employee. For the shopper that likes old-timey styles this place will be loved. Of most impressive are expensive but craftily handmade quilts sold in the last building. I am not into Amish country fashion, but the tour of these shops reveal its quality to me anyways. I stumbled upon Fettig's Flowers back during the Van Wert Chocolate Walk in March. I came here…read morebecause it was one of the stops in the walk, they gave everyone a chocolate rose. I loved the flower shop and promised myself I would return... took months due to covid but glad I came by. It's more than just a flower shop, although they do sell flowers and make arrangements. But, while in there I found a number of little pieces of home decor that I brought home... two pieces because it had a spiritual significance to me. During the early morning hours of the day I went to the flower shop, I got up from bed because I was thirsty. It was still dark out and I walked from my bedroom towards the kitchen. Several of my plants and trees in my backyard are lighted and I saw this beautiful cardinal perched on one of the trees. I am from Florida so I had never seen a Cardinal before. Beautiful bird. Later that morning, I was telling my mother about it and all of a sudden the cardinal flew into one of the windows. It was ok and flew away but certainly it was startling. I then went to this flower shop and I noticed a little statuette of an angel holding a cardinal and it said: When a cardinal appears in your yard, it is a visitor from heaven. I was shocked. Next to it was another angel statuette of an angel holding a butterfly and it said Butterflies are the heaven sent kisses of an angel. When I was young, my little sister died. It hurt a lot and I remember I was told... perhaps as a way to comfort me that if I ever saw a butterfly... it was my sister visiting me. Ever since then, I have had a connection to them and they always catch my sight. I may have grown up, and I may understand that butterflies are just an insect... a beautiful one but an insect. Nevertheless, I still carry that idea/fantasy close to my heart. Seeing those two together, made me want to buy them. Maybe I am deluding myself, but I felt the need to buy them. The store has lots of other decor for gardens and such... including beautiful wind chimes which I also purchased. I love wind chimes! Beautiful store, can't say anything about the flowers because I haven't bought any, but this store is definitely worth a look!

Talk about a diamond in the rough, why I have not stopped before is puzzling. I definitely will be going back there and also to their bigger shop in West Unity. Of course, my husband was pleasantly surprised to see a touch of Buckeyes. (GO BLUE, for me). We were greeted pleasantly and assisted by Deb who made our visit even more pleasurable. I stopped to get ideas and ideas I have many. From ornaments to lovely Christmas decorations and everything in between I was more impressed than I imagined. The building is in an adorable log cabin building which makes it even more unique. It truly felt like Christmas.

To deliver the chair 20 minutes away charge 100.00 and then just to bring it in my house and set up which took me 10 minutes they wanted another 50.00. So thats 799.00 100.00 for a warrenty which shold have been included, then taxes,100.00 delivery and 50.00 for set up total 1099.00 some discount store. They say oh my bob should be oh my god. I ordered a significant amount of furniture for my home, my daughter's home, and my wife's office last year. And, as I stated before, I found the sales people helpful and the deliveries positive. But, WOW...Bob's service department is a complete mess. I had a very simple issue with my touch lights not working on a headboard I called about in January. First, they made me wait two weeks for a tech to come out and confirm what I already knew...the control box on the back has gone bad. Then I waited several more weeks before calling to find out when they were going to come out and fix it only to find out the part was delayed. They said they would cancel that order and order it again with a rush and have it within a week and after another two weeks of not hearing from them, I called again only to be told it wouldn't be in until May. Then they decided they would just bring an entire new headboard out, which just seemed silly given I only needed the box on the back, but I agreed and scheduled for today...another two weeks from that call. I was given a 3 hour window, then a message saying they would be an hour later than the window, and then called at the end of the hour later to hear it would still be even longer, which at this point would not work do to evening engagements. At one point, I tried to call and a person answered on their customer service line and proceeded to laugh for several moments before hanging up on me. When I finally did talk with a supervisor, my only resolution was canceling today's headboard and per my strong request, simply have the part shipped to me and I would fix it myself. Of course, no timeframe offered for when the part would get here and at this point I really don't expect it to arrive at all. Bottom line...no matter how helpful the sales staff is and the initial deliveries are, if I can't trust that any issues that come up with my guaranteed merchandise will be taken care of promptly and appropriately, I simply will not do business with them and I would encourage everyone else to think of the long game when making these significant purchases as well. Bob's really didn't back anything up from the initial assurances and guarantees made to me and now I'm simply terrified if anything more significant goes wrong with anything I've purchased from them.
