A lot of these 1 star reviews seem spiteful. I went in with no appointment to get my window looked at, since it fell through the door. I couldn't raise it up or move it. The front desk lady was very helpful and friendly, and I can't say exactly who helped me, but a man came out to diagnose the problem. He took my car in, checked it out, came out and told me the problem and even offered to give it a quick fix FOR FREE. I had to order the part he needed to fix it completely, but I left knowing what was wrong and with my window better than it was before. Price was completely fair, and I appreciated their business. 5 stars from me! read more

Wish I could give a zero start review. Paid $90 to get my side mirror fix and it ended up flying off going down the Interstate on my honeymoon a day later. Took it back and they said they fixed it but couldn't guarantee it would stay on. No offer to fix or refund the problem. Please save your money and go somewhere else. Took very good care of my car when I had a broken rear passenger window, my window regulator was also bad and they searched around to find the lowest price on a new regulator and got it for me at their own cost, installed it and the new window and now I have 2 working windows when before none of my windows would roll down. I've recommended Joey's to multiple people since I've had work done there and will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Have had my windows tinted here and rock chips in my windshield repaired several times. Always great work and can get you in quickly for rock chips before the heat makes them spread. read more

A Rock flew at my passenger window on I-10 and shattered it within seconds. I pulled over and thankfully found Joey's in my search results for glass near me. (Not local to Baytown) Called and Bryce confirmed they had my window in stock and to head over. He installed it in little to no time (no mess left in my SUV) and I was back on the road. Also while I was there waiting, Cheryl was able to help me find a piece I've been looking for forever for our glass shower. She was super knowledgeable! I've been on the hunt for it forever quite sometime with no one being able to find it. Everyone was friendly and the space was squeaky clean inside! I was in Baytown on business and a rock cracked my windshield in several places. I called the big window repair replace companies and they could squeeze me in...two weeks later. I had to drive back to Austin the next day. Joey's to the rescue! They had my window ordered and I was on the road by noon the next day. They could have literally saved my life. I am forever grateful for their understanding of the situation and the care they gave. read more

After listening to the woman's reasoning and explaining why I don't need a new windshield, the woman completely disregarded everything I was saying and did NOT value my words at all. Recently had a not-so-pleasant experience of vandalism to my truck. When I was finally able to get myself together, the next morning, I called Joey's and they were willing to help and seemed ready to do so. I'm not sure if I had an appointment or not, but they were definitely accommodating and seemed somewhat open to also tinting my window. The tint and the small waiting room are the only reasons for the 4 stars. Tint Tech (they used to be the only tint company in Baytown) is on-site, and I'm guessing when a glass installation process is complete, Joeys consults with and turns a vehicle over to them. My new window was installed within 30 minutes, but it was the Tint Tech guy that seemed to be a bit backed up. He first greeted me to inquire about what color tint I wanted, then to encourage me to be patient, then to promise that I would make it to work in a timely manner. Needed a side window replaced after my car was broken into. Insurance recommended Safelite, but they couldn't do it for 3 days (mobile) or the next day (at location). Joey's is another approved shop through my insurance. Not only were they able to order AND install the window the SAME DAY I called (I called early morning), but the price was less than half the "super low discounted price" I was quoted for Safelite through my insurance company. They also vacuumed all the broken glass out of my car, which I was not expecting but greatly appreciated. Super service, very professional. I have used Joeys Glass two times and on both occasions that were major issues. The first time the glass leaked under the dashboard somewhere and under my Weathertech under the carpet so I didn't know that it was leaking until I started to smell it. I took it back to them and they clean the carpets and replace the windshield but the rubber is still not good and tight around the windshield but at least it's not leaking The second time they replaced a jeep windshield and I did not drive it until I took it to Colorado. On the first drive going to Colorado about 4 1/2 five hours into it it got a little crack in the bottom of the windshield right in the middle and by the time I made it to Denver it was cracked from top to bottom I called them and explained what happened and that this was the first time I had driven the car and they said they had to see it and there was nothing they could do about it. Once in Denver I transferred the vehicle to my son and he got the windshield replaced and the mechanic said it looked like a stress crack but Joeys Glass still would not help me out at all I was just out the $450 for that windshield and had to buy another one. I will not be using their service again. I always try to support local businesses but in this case I cannot afford to. read more

Fast service, fair price, and professional work. What more could you want? I needed a side window on my car replaced after someone broke into it while parked on Sunday night. I called around Monday morning, and Joey's had the lowest price on this repair versus anywhere else (Dealer, Safelite, other body/glass repair shops). Joey's also they said they could have the glass ready the next day. [Fortunately I was able to borrow another car from my family so, I waited until Thursday to order the glass.] After ordering the glass on Thursday, I called ahead on Friday morning to confirm it was ready, and trekked on over to Baytown for the repair. True to their word, it took less than 90 minutes in the waiting room, and I was pleased to be off on my way and put the unpleasant experience of a vandalized car and broken window behind me. I called Joey's Glass to get a quote for a new windshield for my vehicle. I told the female who answered the phone the make, model and year of my vehicle and she asked if my windshield was heated or had humidity control. I didn't know the answers to these questions because I just inherited my vehicle from my mom. I then asked if she could look up the specs by my VIN number and she said no. Didn't seem very eager to have my business. I called a second time on the same day and spoke to a different female and she told me that she couldn't look up the specs by my VIN number either. I thought maybe the first person I spoke to was just busy so that's why I called a second time. Both of these ladies were very short with me. I read a lot of positive reviews on Joey's Glass so that's why I called to get a quote in the first place. I called David with Continental Glass after I called Joey's Glass and he was more than happy to look up what type of windshield I needed for my vehicle. He gave me a quote within 10 minutes. I hired him and he came to my home yesterday to replace my windshield. He did quality work at a very fair price. He treated me the way people are supposed to be treated. Maybe Joey's Glass should consider talking to the people who take phone calls for their business? They lost a customer. But it all worked out in the end. read more

Their installation for a residential Wall Mirror is unprofessional and unsatisfactory work. They don't know what they are doing and now I have a bulging, crooked mirror with empty spaces on my entry wall. The current Manager does not follow up on their word of satisfaction and left me an unsatisfied and unhappy customer. read more

All reviews seem to be 1 year old. This place has become rude, overworked and very unprofessional. You call and are passed around and are told - he will come any time today - we cannot say when. We have a lot of jobs. Drivers come with wrong addresses - and the office staff does not want your order. Baytown deserves better. read more

I brought my mothers Tahoe to Joeys Glass in October 2013 with a leaking seam. We paid $65 and waited about an hour. It was leaking in December 2013 and went back. Although the unhappy woman up front declared there was no Guarantee, fortunately an older gentleman took the vehicle around the back and that has lasted until March (No rain!). I learned my lesson - we took it this month to PROFESSIONAL AUTOGLASS which is across the street from Joeys. He replaced the entire windshield. While Jason is a one man shop - he was professional and very careful and charged less than all other quotes. We would have gone back to Joeys this time but there is not anything worse than paying for the UGLY that Joeys' front desk is giving. And it has been that way the last four-fives I have personally gone into that business over last few years. JOEYS GLASS does not care what people want or feel! read more

Don't get windshield chips repaired here. I had one and brought in paid 35.00 and it is still very visible. I complained and they said sometimes it will still be visible it just won't spread. They didn't say that over the phone. Now I have to go elsewhere to get it fixed right. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had a worker from joey's glass come out to measure for a broken window. When the worker measured and gave me a price, he said it was for a window unit. And it would take 5-7 days for the UNIT to be shipped to them. Ok fine. Well, another worker showed up here today, worked on the window, rhen came to the front door to tell me it was installed. I signed the paperwork, paid, then went to go look. In that time I went to look, all he did was replace the glass!!! When the estimator came to my house, he said a window UNIT. this led me to believe that I was getting a whole new window. Frame and all. And the price was high, so since that was the case I really thought it was a whole new window. This company charged me $ 253.61 to replace a piece of glass!!! $12.00 max at home depot. The guy wasn't even here an hour and he did not install a UNIT!! They were not honest at all, and way too overpriced. Dont call joey's glass. Call another company. Great service! I needed the windshield replaced on my truck and they were able to accommodate me the day I called. The prices they quoted me included labor and beat big companies like Safelite (they don't include labor in quotes - careful!) and the other places I called. I live nearby and they were even able to drop me off and pick me up since the whole service took about 2-3 hours. Employees were very courteous and professional. If your going to use these people take before and after pictures on their property. These people scraped the roof of my truck putting in the wind shield. When I said something about it they told me I did it and it wasn't them and because I cant prove that it was them there was nothing they would do about it. I took a pic about a week before I took it to them and that scraped wasn't there and about a day after I got it back I noticed the scrape. its also on the roof its not like some one going to climb my truck just to scrape it or that someone could accidentally hit it like you can the sides. read more

I just had the worst experience ever with this glass company. On October 30th 2014 I dropped off a glass shelf {the original}to Joey's Glass Company located 3011 N. Main St Bay town, TX requesting 3 shelves to be cut to match. Unfortunately the woman behind the counter {which acted it was out of her way to assist me} came to the counter and I explained what I needed.Not to mention them to be over priced I gave them the shadow of a doubt, She stated it wouldn't be until Monday November 3rd until this would be ready for pick up. They contacted me Monday and stated ready for pick up.On November 3rd Monday I went to this company and picked up my shelves, drove 5 miles home and realized they were cut wrong.This was not the fault of the tech, it was the fault of the woman behind the counter which apparently gave them the wrong measurement {Even know they had the original shelve in hand}. I returned to the 3RD time and she said i could wait, I did for 30-40 Min's..when complete I asked the older Caucasian woman with sandy brown hair that charged my Visa 2 hours prior if I could have some kind of discount {not a refund} just something $10.00 anything just to accommodate my time and prove good customer service, she rudely said NO, we cut your glass...I said WOW, I'm recently buying a house approx 3 miles from there store and was going to renovate and upgrade my restroom and spend allot of money, which now I will be going to another company that can appreciate and take care of there customers...This was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH A GLASS COMPANY, AND READING THE REVIEWS....THIS WOMAN HAS NO PEOPLE OR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, GO HOME AND FIND ANOTHER JOB. read more

Joey's Glass installed a custom shower door. The door leaked like crazy. Their guy came out and looked at it, here is what he said"The door is not supposed to be water-proof." I replied" An $1800 dollar door, and it is not water-proof?" He said they would see if the manufacturer had any suggestions and they would call me the next day. A week later( no call), I call them. The lady said the owner was on vacation and would call me the following Tuesday when he returned. It has been a couple weeks with no call....Surprise, Surprise! I highly recommend to go somewhere else for what you need! As in some other reviews I've read, I also wish I could give them 0 stars! Oh, yeah! And the door shakes when you open it. They said it should have had different supports than it does! THEY put it in! I am not the door expert, that is what I hired them for! If they didn't do it right, they should have fixed it!
