0 stars: Shameful, deceptive business practices. They'll lie on the phone with a good price to lure you in, then they'll lie to your face and give you the run around (2 days wasted). Then I had to "settle" for subpar service and keep the alarm, or take the alarm off and STILL pay for labor. That was NOT the original agreement, (which by the way, the sales person threw away the quote I agreed to, or so he claimed, when I asked him for it). Who does that? And to the other complicit people there, shame on you too for allowing this ripoff to happen. Lesson learned, NEVER shop here again. read more

The price and costumer service was great but the 5 hour plus wait was really aggravating to me. He said give me about two hours to set up a stereo and backup camera, check out or speaker system and it's 7pm and still waiting on our truck to be ready!!! I'm beyond annoyed. I am a very understanding person but they need to be clear and honest about their timing and make people schedule a service date to be dropped off instead of waiting hours for your car to be ready. Don't go there. Amp went into fail safe mode and they want me to cover the shipping. now getting the run around between them and audio control to pass it off. next bought a stinger radio and the radio has issues cutting off. asked them to replace it the first time after they couldn't figure it out! what I found out is the radio was an old model that needs updates. when I told them what I found out the response from the installer was let me know if that fixes it! read more

Called to price stereo and was told they would match Best Buy so went by and talked to owner who told me the total price and time of 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. Called several hours later and told them I wanted to get it done and asked when to bring it in and how long once again said 1 to 1 1/2 hrs and bring it in the next day at 11 and said he was ordering a part then which should be in soon. Brought it in and remembered another thing I wanted while the had the radio out which the part cost 20 on line but they wanted 65. Finally was told the installer would finish up with the auto he was working on then get on mine in 15 mins. Next thing I know the owner wants to talk to me on the phone and says they now have several vehicles ahead of mine so I will now have to wait much longer. Having another appointment I decided to take my business elsewhere. read more

I went in to get an extra battery, tires and tower speakers in April and they wired my extra battery horribly to the point where it blew out my fuse box and fried my Jeep I went the whole month of May using Uber's to get around and I brought them an invoice from the repair shop asking if they could pay for what they broke and all they had to say was "he is just trying to find someone to blame " but if you look at how they wired it was clearly their fault being the next day my jeep stopped working. When I finally got my jeep fixed I went back for my tower speakers and this time they actually connected my system to a true 12v source and switch but my tower speakers have been sitting in a corner for nearly a month and they come to me saying that they are broken and have to find more pieces like they didn't have the common courtesy after what I went through just to give me new speakers like I bought and what I paid for they would only give me the ones that have been on the floor for a month and yet they still will not meet up with the mechanic so he can explain where they messed up. read more

These guys did a awesome job installing my amp and sub, they don't use generic Chinese wires like down at High tech auto sound, stay away from their btw. They used some Stinger high quality fat power wires and a really good fuse block. The install was very good.I had some bad luck with a defective JL amp and Lando was quick to help me get a replacement! Then when I decided to upgrade to a bigger amp Lando literally let me do a even swap for a different brand that had more power and very similar pricing. Three times I have called for problems and they were quick to get me in and out and not rude at all about having to fix little things I was picky out. I deftly recommend anybody to this place. They also did a level kit install on my Escalade and that also was a awesome job for really good pricing. read more

I just had my new radio with Bluetooth and back up camera installed in my van. I wanted an updated radio system put in and was referred to them. I spoke with them over the phone first, then when I went in Lando, customer service rep, showed me 3 options and pricing. It was installed within he time they told me. Lando also texted me during the process and even texted me the next day to make sure all was as I wanted it. The overhead lights weren't working and I took it in and it was just a connection not being connected, but they were quick and had it all fixed up. My van was cleaned up of any debris that would've come from the install and it looks and works great! I'm very happy with the work AllStar did! read more

We went to this place to get a sound system installed as a gift to someone else just to have the whole car shut off as soon as we leave. Okay cool. We take it back to see what we can do to get it running again just for us to go all over Houston for a part that they had no business touching or messing with. Spent over $600 for my time, my gas, and for pieces they sent me to get that didn't even work. We came in with the car working and left with it not being able to stay on more than 30 seconds. They wanted to say it was a fuel problem when in reality it was a loose connection which WE fixed after they refused to. The CAI was completely off the throttle body and was allowing raw air entering the intake. It was clear as day which part was loose but they're lazy and choose to look the other way. The guy trying to get it to run was forcing it , pushing down on the gas as if it would work like that. Upsetting. The "supervisor" also wasn't complying and customer service is terrible. Don't waste your time here, they clearly don't know what they're doing. read more

1st time going to the place was great, did great work. 2nd time not so much, got a bed cover and stereo put in and it took them 7 hours. I was told 2 tops. I waited in this place all day with hardly an update. Installers broke cup holders and lied about it, management made me feel I was lieing about it. They put in a bad antenna receiver which I had to come back for. They tried to make good on fixing the cup holders and ordered the part. Was told it would come in on Monday or Tuesday and I would get a call. It's now Saturday and I had to call them. Only to be told they are swamped and to come in on Monday. When asked why I wasn't called again they said they were super busy. I would personally not recommend them, while they are nice, management doesn't check work, heaven help you if an installer breaks something, and there time tables of how long it takes is waaay off. I visited the place after checking with them if they could install HID bulbs on my Mazda 6. They said they can. I walked in, was greeted and taken care of. They installed the HID bulbs and after installation they were kind enough to go over the procedure with me in case something causes the bulbs to malfunction. They had their QA/QC in place and ensured that the balasts were secured. I was very pleased with their work. These guys are reliable, hard working and humble. I highly recommend them. ***DO NOT PURCHASE THE GROUPON FOR THIS PLACE*** Beware of the bait and switch at this place. Prior to purchasing the groupon I called to find out what type of alarm they were offering. I was told that if you purchased the groupon for $129 that you would have a prestige alarm installed and if you purchased the $199 groupon, which should've been for $400 worth of equipment, then it would be a remote start viper alarm with a two way pager. So, after I heard that I figured that was a great deal, but it was too good to be true. After driving almost a hour to get to this place they tried to switch everything up on me and give me the crappy prestige alarm which I could've gotten anywhere else for the same price I paid for the groupon. They also tried to tell me that the pager remote was not included, but then told me that they would give me one anyway. Not only that, they wanted to charge me an additional $129 for a bypass module, the same module I paid $20 for near my house where I went and had my remote start alarm installed. After bringing up what I was told on the phone the day prior, the gentleman that I spoke to told the other guys in the shop that yeah he did mention that it was a viper alarm, but that he was confused because they had a couple of different groupon ads going on. That was clearly a lie because they only have one ad going on. After that I asked the guy how much he charges to install the prestige alarm and he told me that it's anywhere from $259 to $299. Then I asked how much the viper alarm was and he said it was $399. That's when I pointed out that their groupon ad states you will receive $400 worth of goods for $199. The guy quickly started back peddling and changed everything he just told me. He right away said that he told me they charged $399 for the prestige and $499 for the viper. That was clearly BS because if you look at any shop around Houston you'll see that you can get the same prestige remote start alarm installed anywhere from $180 to about $269. This shop may or may not do good work, but I will never find out because I will never return to this place and I encourage all of you to look elsewhere. Any place that does shady business like this is definitely not trustworthy and does not deserve your business. Luckily it had been less than three days since I purchased the promotional value through groupon and they were very helpful in refunding me my money. They actually were the ones that suggested I write a review about my experience on yelp. Anyways, Do your homework first and find out exactly what it is that you're getting before you shop here. You're better off going somewhere else and saving yourself the hassle of this place's shady business practices. read more

I called a few shops around town to see who could give me the pest pricing and I got ahold of these guys of course by referral. Wheels lift and tires came out to be under $5800 so I did it because they were nice and it was a great deal. A few days later after it's done I texted my salesman and told him that the lift didn't seem right and was making a lot of noises they said they would check it while they checked it the guy in the back told me it was ok nothing was wrong that it was normal that he had been lifting trucks for a while mind you my truck is a new f250 platinum. I said ok I left and my truck rides like crap my tires were balanced with beads which is bs! and it just was a terrible job now I have to spend another 3k to get it lifted the correct way but new tires cause the tires are chipped and I would not recommend this place and would advice to spend the extra money and go to a place where they know what they are doing! read more

Don't you ever buy anything for this guys , the customer services is the worst I have never been mistreated like that before , I bought a set of tires first of all Alex (CSR name) quote me a price $1600 tires and level kit , long story short some other CSR (jose) step in and quote me $2285 right after I got the financing approve, I ending paying the $2285 after a month I did a trip to Dallas and Oh surprise at soon as I got 75MPH the truck was shaking so bad that I have to lower speed down inmidiatelly I called and they said bring it back we will check it for you , well there I go back and Alex said Don't worry I know the prorblem , tires need to be balance again and I said what do you mean and He said we got another machine since the other one wasn't working properly Wow they new and they didn't said anything from the begging !! I said OK he said please give me a little bit we will correct the problem !! Yeah alright after 1hr and 55 minutes my truck was still at the parking lot I asked him about the truck and he said Oh I am sorry it will take another 45 minutes !!!
