I was not a new customer as they misrepresented in their Google answer. It was plastered on Thursday 8/31 and Ken had scheduled an appointment to start the equipment, brush and check chemistry on Friday 9/1. He never showed up or called to let me know. Anyone aware of newly plastered pools understands that this service in the beginning is very important. Before he arrived I called Ken to ask if Kendell's could help me get a transformer for the lights as well. I never discussed cost and understand they are entitled to a markup. The response on Google is a total lie and I never asked for wholesale cost. The bottom line is that they never showed up to do the startup service and then posted a lie to help cover their failure. I just called a few random providers and only 3 responded to me, almost completely picking at random, I ended up choosing RPC. Best decision ever. From the first week service started, I was blown away. The service itself was done perfectly, but on top of that, the report he emails us every week to show what has been done is more thorough than I have ever received from any service company or trade. The step-by-step walk through of what they did accompanied by photos of every action they took blows me away. They take more photos of the hot tub during each visit than my cleaning company takes of a full 6-bedroom house after their cleaning. The confidence and reassurance this gives me that my client's hot tub and equipment are in good hands is invaluable to my business. I work with plenty of other service providers and have never received this kind of feedback after each service and as such I have never felt so sure about the service being done. We recently hired Stilson and Gooch to build our pickleball court. Overall, the finished court…read morelooks great and we're happy with the appearance of the final product. However, the process itself was frustrating and there were several issues that affected our experience. The biggest concern was communication and scheduling. We were told work would begin on a specific date and that the concrete prep and pour would take about a day and a half. When the start date arrived, no one showed up. After reaching out, we were told someone would come later that day to drop off equipment. Instead of a crew, one individual handled most of the work, and the preparation process stretched out over approximately a week and a half with several days where little or no work occurred. Prior to the concrete pour, we noticed multiple concerns, including missing rebar spacers, unfinished edges, a light pole footing that wasn't squared up, and no expansion joint installed between the court and our fence. We raised these concerns before the pour and were assured they would be addressed. While the finished court looks good cosmetically, these construction issues left us questioning the quality of the concrete work and whether the court will hold up properly over time. We were also told earlier in the process that custom court colors would be available, but on the day of painting we were informed we could only choose from a limited selection of colors which was somewhat dissapointing. The court looks beautiful today, and that is the reason we are not leaving a completely negative review. However, our biggest concern is that the concrete subcontractor's work may create long-term problems that are not yet visible. We invested a significant amount of money in this project and expected greater attention to detail during the preparation and concrete phases. While we hope the court performs well for many years, we are left with concerns about its long-term durability because of the issues we observed during construction.
