RUN RUN right pass this doctor's office. Until he takes it serious, treats patience better. This man has lost the essence of the craft. I did not have the best experience. I will NEVER go to this place again. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy and waited 2 hours after scheduled time in waiting room. Was taken back and waited another 45 minutes after undressing. When they came in the procedure room. The doctor got started. I did not recvd an IV. I was in alot of pain and told them repeatedly it did not feel right. The nurse, not sure if she was a nurse or not. I was still VERY alert, and she proceeded to give me more sedation (I did not ask for) and then Dr Clemmons entered and started the procedure. I felt the pipe tubing and lots of stomach pushed (literally) and I was screaming in pain. No one even asked me if I was ok. Horrible experience. With all the anesthesia I just blacked out and hours later in recovery my husband appeared. A lady told me the Dr would be in to talk to me, and I do NOT have any recollection of any. Upon meeting Dr Clemmons at first I thought he was a nice doctor but whatever his reasons where I felt literally like I was a number. No one followed up they gave me paperwork AND SAID THEY WILL FOLLOW UP IN A FEW DAYS. Never DID. I took the findings to another doctor he asks what this is. I'm so embarrassed hate that I allowed this office to do my colonoscopy. not even sure i trust the results. I am a former employee of Dr. Clemons' office, and I want to share my experience. In my opinion, the procedure rooms were not consistently cleaned or sanitized properly, which was extremely concerning to witness in a medical setting. I also observed that the instruments used for in-office colonoscopy procedures did not appear to be properly sanitized, which raised serious safety concerns. The work environment felt hostile and toxic, and the way staff were treated in front of patients was unprofessional and humiliating. It did not feel like a place where employees--or patients--were treated with respect. There is also a very high turnover rate, and the office was consistently understaffed during my time there. We were repeatedly told that hiring was coming, but in my experience, it never happened--patients even commented on how often employees were leaving. On top of being short-staffed, the manager repeatedly emphasized that the office had quotas to meet, which put extreme pressure on a team of only four staff members. The phones rang constantly, yet the manager would say things like, "that's not my job, I will not be answering phones." HR also made comments such as, "I'm very confused as to why it's a heavy workflow," which, in my experience, showed no empathy and no understanding of what the team was actually facing. In the procedure room, there often did not seem to be enough staff to safely support the workflow. There was no nurse present to start IVs, and I was concerned that some staff did not appear to have the proper licenses for the tasks they were performing. I also personally witnessed situations where patients seemed overly medicated and at times were unsteady or appeared at risk of falling--these moments were alarming to me. In my experience, HR and the doctor's wife were not present in the office, so they did not see the reality of what was happening day-to-day. Decisions seemed to be based only on what the manager said, not what was actually occurring. The doctor himself works extremely hard and truly cares about his patients, but in my opinion, he is being overworked and unsupported by the people around him. Many of the colleagues who are still there are struggling in silence. Just like me, they need their jobs, so they stay quiet--but that doesn't mean the problems don't exist. I finally spoke up about serious concerns, and in my experience, it completely backfired. I was laid off, and the excuse given was my "time," even though patients and coworkers knew I always did my job to the best of my ability. From what I witnessed, the focus seemed to be money and metrics, not patient care. I also saw test results sit for long periods with no follow-up, leaving patients waiting without communication. I am truly thankful for the patients I was able to help during my time there. Supporting them was the only positive part of my experience, and I am grateful for every person who trusted me. Patients should know they have a voice. If you believe you have observed unsafe or unprofessional practices, you have the right to report concerns. You can file a complaint with the Texas Medical Board. You may also report concerns to local health authorities in Houston if you feel patient safety is at risk. As a community, we deserve better. Speaking up is how we protect one another and push for change--no one should feel ignored or unsafe in a medical office. Based on what I experienced, I would not recommend this office. To anyone reading this: do not stay silent. Protect yourself, trust your instincts, and take action. Your health and safety come first--choose a provider who treats it that way. read more

I was being treated by Baylor for 2 years with no relief. I was referred to Dr Clemmons by my PCP. After about 10 minutes talking with Dr Clemmons, he diagnosed my problem, gave me a prescription, and I have not had a problem since. It has now been 6 months with no reoccurrence! I was misdiagnosed repeatedly by Baylor for 2 years! I am very grateful for Dr Clemmons. His office staff could use some improvement. I did discuss that with Dr Clemmons and he explained that it was a completely new staff. So I hope that is working more smoothly. read more

I will NEVER go to this place again. Firstly the nurse barely even listened to me and went ahead and sprayed my throat with no explanation. She just pulled my arm to insert the IV and I understand you have to be alert a little for the procedure but I said I was still VERY alert and she proceeded to give me more ( didn't ask) and then Dr Clemmons entered and started the procedure. The people in the office in addition to the doctor are proactive, super compassionate and helpful. Wasn't a fun experience as this never is but having awesome staff helps a ton and you can tell the doctor is super on top of his game and takes the time to ask questions and listen. I think this is the best experience anyone can have with a colonoscopy and I trust the doctor and his recommendations and feel safe in his care. read more

I experienced a somewhat horrific colonoscopy after turning 55 years old and realizing I was overdue. I had a physician by the name of Faruqi Sohaib attending as the proctologist. Polyps were found and one of a decent size. As I understand it, proctologist will take A biopsy to confirm whether or not the polyp is cancerous. OK, if the biopsy returns a benign result case should be closed. However, this humorless and emotionally detached imbecile caused me more than a month of pain and I mean gut wrenching, writhing pain. I found out after several days of severe abdominal cramps and absolutely zero energy, that I could've been very near to death due to bacteria breaching or entering the bloodstream from the location where the biopsy had been cauterized. This uncompassionate physician with no bedside manner did not answer his calls in a timely manner and brushed aside my concerns, stating that it was more than likely the Chinese food that I had eaten three days after the exam. Long story short, I seat consultation from several other proctologist in the area and they appear to be a network of individuals who could not provide an objective view. I finally opted to visit with Dr. Clemmons and was extremely pleased with his level and depth of knowledge, including his professionalism. Not only was Dr. Clemens able to correctly diagnose why I spent two days in agonizing pain in bed, as opposed to going to the emergency room for some indefinite period of time as Dr. Sohaib had stated, dr. Clemmons, true to his Hippocratic oath was also concerned that my brother had a higher than normal likelihood of also having polyps and recommended that he get tested as soon as possible. Sadly, but one last testament to Dr. Clemmons thoroughness, he identified a smaller Polyp that had been overlooked and undetected by the original hack, Dr. Faruqi. Dr clenmons is very professional, patient, explains things in layman's terms. Listens to what your complaints are to order the proper work up. Haven't found out yet what's going on but he has also not just so readily dismissed me and passed me on ton someone else to figure out what's wrong. Staff is friendly, but the nurse that prepped me with my IV for the sedation did not listen to me when i said i have poor access on my right arm and proceeded to do it on my right arm without pushing saline after to make sure there was access. I went in for an EGD with "conscious sedation " as they were going to clip pieces of tissue all the way down my esophagus. First clip i jumped and the dr looked and me and said people don't usually feel that, needless to say by the time it was done i had to call out from work the whole week because i felt every clip of tissue because apparently my IV infiltrated leaving a huge bruise ....so i did not even receive the sedation, not happy. I hurt the next few days didn't even want to eat. read more

Torture chamber... This Doctor caused my immense pain. He tilted my pelvis out of whack while taking a tissue sample. I felt like he was splitting me inside out. Not anesthetic or as he put it a mild anesthetic.. Warning! do not use this doctor. Even the county has better medical care than this doctor.. read more

I saw Dr. Clemmons for a routine colonoscopy. He is pleasant, has a calming manner and well informed. He asked me several times if I had questions and answered the few I had completely and in an easy to understand way. He explained what was going to happen and was sure that I had all the information I needed. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment time and was taken back to the exam room right on time. His staff were pleasant and the office is clean. Scheduling the appointment by phone was easy and there were no difficulties handling my insurance. I would highly recommend Dr. Clemmons. read more

Dr Clemmons was there for me when I had been in severe pain in my stomach for three months. I had seen three other gastrointestinal DR and they could not figure out why I was unable to hold down any food or liquids and lost 40lbs. The first day he seen me he started running test at the hospital. He then had me to come back the following day to do another procedure called ERCP. This is where he put a scope down my throat into my stomach. He found the problem corrected the problem. He had me on medication for a few months to stimulate my stomach to start working again. I was no longer in pain right after have the ERCP done. Dr Clemmons had resolved my problem in 2 Days. When the other DR's I seen didn't get anywhere I'm 3 Months. read more
