I had to get a cleaning done as my first appointment and after a quick scan and check, I had a minor filling crack that needed to be filled. Generally most dentists tell you to come back later under a new appointment but I was offered to get it done right after my cleaning! Wow! That saved me an additional trip and the Dental team did an amazing job to patch me up :) I would highly recommend this place!

My biggest issues were the lack of transparency, inconsistent communication, and failure to properly address my concerns. I repeatedly received unexpected balance statements months after paying what I was quoted. Every time I contacted the office, I received a different explanation. At one point I was even told to ignore a balance statement because it "wasn't actually a bill," only to receive another one later. Patients should never have to guess whether they owe money after being told everything was paid. I also had ongoing problems obtaining my records and X-rays. Despite multiple promises over the phone and by text that they would be sent to me, I repeatedly dealt with delays, excuses, and inconsistent answers. I completed Invisalign here as well and was disappointed with the final outcome. Whenever I raised concerns, I felt they were dismissed rather than genuinely addressed. The reason I am updating this review is because I finally sought a second opinion after losing confidence in this office. That decision may have saved my teeth. For months, I repeatedly complained about pain and sensitivity in a tooth with a previous root canal. I was simply told I needed a new crown. No one identified the real problem or referred me to a specialist. After seeing another dentist and then an endodontist, both independently diagnosed a significant infection beneath that root canal that requires treatment. The endodontist also evaluated a filling that had been placed at this office. They were very concerned about how deep it extends toward the nerve and explained that it needs to be replaced because there is an infection adjacent to the nerve. I was also informed there is approximately a 50% chance that replacing the filling could result in needing a root canal because of how deep it is. Learning that I have multiple infections requiring treatment after repeatedly reporting pain and sensitivity has been devastating. I can't help but wonder whether these issues could have been identified much sooner had my concerns been taken more seriously. I have since transferred my dental care elsewhere and no longer have confidence in the care I received here. If you choose this office, I strongly recommend getting every quote in writing, keeping every receipt, requesting copies of your records and X-rays immediately, and seeking a second opinion if something doesn't feel right. I wish I had.

The Smile Store Love my Smile Auburn WA review…read more Love my smile review First, I went into the Love My Smile office, in Auburn WA, inquiring about the snap on 4, dentures, only to find out that they don't do those there, plus, they are way too expensive. I hadn't had my teeth pulled yet, (those that I had left, that is). It would take months after they were extracted, before my insurance would pay for dentures and I wanted the same-day, dentures that go in immediately after extraction. I was quoted, $1000.00/ea, top and bottom. They fit you for them prior to extraction. They knew the date, and the dentist office that would be taking them out, and said they would be ready in time. I could only afford the top, as I had to pay cash. They day came, and I went to the dentist for extraction. They didn't have the dentures, so I tried calling Love my smile, to no avail. I went by the office, and they had gone home early. I went in the next day, and they gave them to me. They wouldn't fit, and I was told to try them every couple of days when the swelling went down. I finally went back in weeks later, because they were no where even close to fitting. I sat there in the exam chair, and John immediately went to the back to make a phone call. I heard him arguing with someone. He came back and informed me that I had been given someone else's dentures. I believe he knew this before I even got there. Your name is printed inside on the gum material. I thought it was a number, as it was very small print, too small for me to read. I asked what recourse I had. I would now have to wait even longer, for what they advertise as, "same-day dentures. " I was not happy, but he said they could probably give me the bottom set, free of charge. You'd think first of all, that when dentures arrive, that they would first look to see if they were "same-day", dentures, or regular dentures. If they were "same-day" dentures, they should look at when the extraction date is, and either send them to the dentist, or call the customer to pick them up, so they can be put in immediately after extraction. They didn't call me, nor did they even tell me whether or not they send then to the dentist. They had the date, and the dentist office, on file. They didn't call me, and then, left early the day I needed them. Of course that wouldn't have helped, since they didn't confirm that MY NAME, was on them. I finally got them, and he did some dremeling on the gums, and put some more material in them. He didn't smooth out the area he worked on, and I got sores in my mouth. I fixed it myself. He also told me that reliner is included after my gums shrink. I called months later, and he said it's too late for the TEMPORARY reliner, and that it costs $500, and insurance should cover it. I had to reschedule, and when I went in, they didn't even have the material in, to do the reline. He used some temporary, white material instead, and didn't trim it or anything.I had to pull it off. I tried calling him on the fact that he said the first reline was included, which he now denied. They didn't explain any of these details, and my paperwork, didn't either. They also didn't act like they even cared that they hadn't contacted me to pick up my same -day dentures, and left the office that day. I canceled my future appointment for reline. A purchase like this isn't cheap, and my insurance didn't cover it. Details about what is included, and the process, wasn't documented. His words meant nothing. I didn't imagine it. He quoted me $1000.00 for each denture, and I was charged $1500.00. Maybe that extra $500.00 was for the reline he denied me? I did receive the bottom partial for no additional cost, but, all in all, it was NOT a positive experience . I am searching for another denturist for my permanent dentures.
