The most friendly and professional group of people to share your dental needs with. Everyone at this office is amazing, from the front desk to their assistants and hygienists to Dr. Peterson himself. I moved to the area a year ago and was overdue for an annual exam/cleaning. The exam was very through. I appreciated being able to go through my x-rays and pictures of my teeth with Dr. Peterson. He was very informative and explained in great detail the situation that was going on with my teeth. I have crossbites, a jaw size discrepancy and surprisingly, my wisdom teeth! He offered great suggestions as to what to do to help my teeth. He also gave me a referral to an orthodontist in the area that has worked on his own teeth! Kimberlee was the hygienist who did my cleaning and she was great! She explained to me the importance of keeping up with my oral care (which is a given) and offered me a few tips to make taking care of my teeth a little easier. She was easy to talk to and I am thankful that she really took the time to clean my teeth since they easily build up plaque. I tend to have anxiety when I go to the dentist or even think about going. It is part of the reason why I procrastinated being seen. I absolutely had none here. The thing that sets them apart is everything they plan on doing is explained throughly so you always know what to expect. Dr. Peterson came highly recommended by my implant surgeon. It was easy to make an appointment by phone. They were able to fit me in before the clinic closed for the holiday break. Dr. Peterson and his staff are friendly and compassionate. Dr. Peterson is thorough and guides you through every step. The reception area is cozy and the clinic is clean and comfortable. If there was one thing I wish was different it would be the privacy of each treatment area. They have cubicles instead or rooms so you can hear conversations between dental chairs. Professional staff, nice office, good service. I have been a patient for several years, and have had no problems with the services provided. At my first visit I made it clear that I would do my best to care for my teeth, and would appreciate not being "sold" on every possible improvement available. And I have to say Dr. Peterson has remained true to that agreement, (my prior dentist was always hounding me to have this or that done, and when he discovered I was double covered by dental insurance, the list of possiblities grew rather quickly. . . very annoying). The only reason for the 4 stars vs 5 stars is that even though I normally just have 2 routine check ups per year, my insurance doesn't cover the entire visit, therefore I have to pay some $ out of pocket each time. I think this is because Dr. Peterson is not on the network per my insurance carrier. read more

Missed an appointment and in order to reschedule they demand $75 payment over the phone to reschedule, rather than at time of service. I had been going here for about 2 years for cleanings and last month wanted to get fitted for a nightguard for clenching during a regular cleaning. During my appt the hygienist Shannon took x-rays, then showed me on the x-rays that i had a cyst in my nasal cavity that was taking up space and it would be beneficial for me to see an ENT. After my appt i got a referral to an ENT from my PCP and called them to ask for a copy of the x-rays that showed the cyst in my nasal cavity. The woman at the front desk looked through my medical record and said she saw no notes about a cyst in my nasal cavity and said their hygienist Shannon likes to be "very thorough" with patients and sometimes shouldnt be. She said Dr. Peterson would look at my X-rays and she would call me back. 2 days later and no one followed up with me so i called back and the front desk girl was rude and said i dont have an answer for you yet and i will call you when i have one. The next day she left a voicemail saying i didnt have a cyst in my nasal cavity. During this time i also was fitted for the nightguard by another hygienist and sent home with the 500 dollar piece of plastic without Dr. Peterson actually looking at the fit of the nightguard or how my jaw was aligned when laying down. I used it for 5 nights and developed muscle spasms in my jaw and tooth pain and bleeding on my gums. My cheeks were swollen as well and i called the office to tell them i wanted to return it. I had to argue with the front desk for a few hours calling back and forth trying to return the mouth guard and they finally agreed. After sending it back when i was speaking to the front desk girl who is all named Shannon, she let me know that they did me a favor in taking it back and were suck with a 100 dollar lab fee, inferring that i should be thankful for what they did. After they gave me a misinformed diagnosis of a cyst in my nasal cavity and causing me to go through the process of going to an ENT for no reason they sent me a letter in the mail dismissing me as a patient "due to a miscommunication". None of what transpired was my fault and they took zero accountability for their hygienists actions in telling me misinformation and their lack of making sure their patients are properly fitted for nightguards. They caused me alot of unneeded distress because of this then had the audacity to dismiss me as a patient. My advice to anyone is to not go here, they are nice until you see their lack of quality of care and their front desk employees are condescending and rude. read more

if I could give 10 star I would best dentist I've ever been to in my life I had a previous horrible experience at my last dentist which caused me to go back 6 times and I finally said screw it and asked around and was referred to this office The staff is not only professional but friendly I have never felt so welcomed in my life They were very honest about everything that I needed done, they didn't treat me like I was any different than anybody else, they broke up my teeth cleaning sessions into two so that way I was in less pain they made sure that I was ok literally every 5 seconds while I was getting my teeth cleaned I will never go to anyone else again I am more confident in my smile, they got rid of all the nasty tar that was built up in my teeth and I actually for the first time in two years can chew on the right side of my mouth. thank you North west smile design for your kindness patience and outstanding customer service read more

I remember Karie coming to my preschool which was right across the street from the office & showed us all how to properly brush our teeth. I am now 22 years old & I could not imagine going anywhere else. My whole family goes there & everyone in the office makes us feel like family. The service is always great & professional. As much as I dread going to the dentist, I can always count on Karie to make a teeth cleaning an enjoyable experience! I am very thankful for the Care Credit system they have to offer as well. I put off getting a night guard for a long time... probably too long & it was because of the cost! But with Care Credit I will be able to make payments & save my teeth in the long run.
