I parked my motorcycle in the lot behind the East Milton Starbucks at 7:30am earlier today. I returned at approximately 8:00am to find my saddle covered with mulch. A large crew of approximately 10 was "landscaping" the terrain bordering this lot. I knew they were working when I went in for a coffee. I parked facing the rear wall next to a dumpster (in a designated space.) The crew saw me ride in and park. Their blowers could have easily directed the mulch in another direction away from my bike. (They could have advised me to park someplace else, too. I would have.) When I brushed the mulch off my bike I looked up to see a crew member laughing at me. I looked around at the rest of the crew; heads down, working. I confirmed the identity of the landscaping company on the side of the truck into which debris was being loaded. (Some of that debris was under my rear wheel when I returned.) I looked at the cars in the lot when I exited and didn't see any mulch on them or debris under their wheels. Disappointing. read more

As I am a renter and the Landlord and I have asked this company many times to mail the bill to the MGT Company of the home owner. But the MORONS do not have a voice mail that you can leave a message. Also the refuse to listen to the homeowner who has requested many times to lay mulch. NOPE. THEY DO NOT. The men who come to the property BARELY speak any English so asking/telling them is an absolute waste of breath. I refuse to mail the bill to the homeowner in a reasonable amount of time. read more

Poor service is all I can say. His workers don't even weed wack weeds at the edge of your lawn well . Also they leave patches of missed areas on the lawn SLOPPY! read more

Thank goodness for businesses like John Driscoll Landscaping. While visiting my disabled mother in Milton, she insisted that I remove a bush from her front yard. He was able to get the job done the next day in minutes whereas I would have struggled and wasted a full day. Very responsive and very reasonably priced. John Driscoll landscaping is a beacon light in what is otherwise a black hole of poor quality and customer service in the landscaping business in Milton (Thayer, etc). John is super responsive, fair, explains his quotes and most importantly stands by his work. He's a busy guy, but that's because he's the best. Great locally owned company. They offer a whole range of landscaping services. Reliable, professional and very reasonably priced. We had a 26 tree hedge planted. John Driscoll came personally to oversee the work and brought a large crew so they could get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. They planted all the trees very well, evenly spaced and in just a few hours. He's pretty busy so it may take a couple weeks to get a large job scheduled but the work is high quality. We also use him for lawn care, to cut the grass and do all the edging, again for a very good price and they come as often as requested. He's also weeded and cleared out a large overgrown and wooded section of our property. They provide a 5 star quality of work for a 3 star company's price. The owner is a bit old school, low tech, no e-mail or contracts to sign. Quotes for work come handwritten and deals are signed with a handshake. John, the owner, is very laid back, not pushy but also provides plenty of advice/options/solutions for your projects. I would highly recommend him based on price and quality. read more

This company is very disappointing. During the Blizzard of 2015, their plows pushed tons of the snow from a nearby commercial client onto my sidewalk and into the street parking spaces in front of my property. While they denied that they did this, both of my neighbors and my wife witnessed this occur. They attempted to blame it on the Milton DPW, which denied that it did this. I spoke to someone in their office and they did not call me back, despite promising to do it. It is unacceptable to treat neighbors like this and I intended to contact the BBB. read more

One word to describe this company: Disappointing An accurate description/comparison of this company is to very bad restaurant. The experience that we've had with this company was downright revolting. Picture this: You go to a restaurant that had a couple of good reviews and decided to try it. The service there is abysmal. They forget to refill water, forget drinks, forgets food, etc, and at the end of the disappointing meal, (which consisted of poorly made/horrendous tasting food) the server charges you for things that they never brought out to you. When you tell them about the charges, they apologize and take it off but they do so unwillingly because they wanted to leave it in there to make the bill bigger. The owner realizes all these mistakes and tells you to give them a second chance. (What a good guy..or so we thought). Fast forward to the next visit, you live through the same experience as last time. Just disappointment all over again. Instead this time, the owner says you have to pay for the food and drinks that were never brought to your table. And to cap it off, he no longer wants you to come back to the restaurant. All this due to a complaint of them failing to bring us what we asked for and wanting to charge us for what we never recieved. This is comparable to our experience with this company. read more

This landscaping company does plowing in the winter I guess. They were plowing out a big commercial lot with tons of car and managed to hit mine. I know it was the plow company because there was yellow, tractor color paint on the side of my car. I called them and left a message explaining what happened and no one has called back. read more
