Molloy does decent landscaping but needs significant improvement with clerical staff. Each time I've engaged with them there is either an issue in scheduling or billing. The staff they send out don't speak at all so you have to rely on their clerical staff to relay the right information regarding work that is requested etc., but they often get it wrong. Would be nice if they used a foreman who was an effective communicator and had someone in the front office that was reliable with managing scheduling and billing. read more

Molloy Lawn & Landscape was here on Tuesday to perform a spring clean-up. The team is extremely professional and went above and beyond. My property looks amazing. Left over fall leaves and all winter debris was removed and did the first cut of the season. Their pricing is extremely reasonable in comparison to other quotes I've received for clean up and lawn care. We used Molloy last year for weed and fertilizer treatments. Our grass in just one season looks miraculous. So far there are very few weeds and my grass is healthy are so green. They are always extremely careful with these treatments. John does a great job explaining the process and the products they use. I couldn't be happier. read more

Molloy Lawn & Landscaping has no regard whatsoever for local residential noise regulations, sending their guys to show up in the evening - well after the 5 pm cut-off time here in Quincy - and firing up their incredibly noisy hydro-seeding equipment, even when it is a clear imposition on their customer's neighbors. I'm not thrilled with my neighbor for allowing them to continue even after receiving complaints, but as a commercial service, Molloy should know better and should be held responsible. If you are looking to anger your neighbors, these are the people to call. read more

We had Molloy come and do a spring clean up for our yard in anticipation of a graduation party. Chris the estimator came out and spent time measuring and then discussing what Molloy would do. I went away and came back and was nothing short of amazed at what a great job they did. The ewes never looked so good and it was clean!! We also have a lot flower beds that were in need of a serious weeding and thinning. It was all done making sure my beloved peonies were kept in tact. They came back the next day and mulched the edged beds and it really made them pop. Very clean, quick & professional and the office manager was great to work with in terms of payments and scheduling. He sent me a quote to my e-mail as he stated he would. I felt the quote was fair for both of us. I approved the quote on line, signed and gave my payment information. 2 days later.. Used this company for mulch spreading and they were outstanding! Not only were they professional but they also took their time and cleaned out all the beds prior to spreading. They used a big machine attached to the truck to spray the mulch and then spread and it was neat and looked great! I contacted Molloy for lawn repair-landscaping needs in the spring, John came over very friendly, many ideas and suggestions said he would get in touch with an estimate and them I never heard back from him. After reading my initial, frustrated, review with Molloy Landscaping, John messaged me on Yelp to apologize and asked if I would give them another chance. I was impressed he had the courage and willingness to do so, so I agreed and we tried the process all over again. And I'm very happy that I did give it another go brocade he and his team did a great job (and continue to do so). The yard looks so much better and he stayed in much better contact with us in planning all the seedings and timeline of the various projects (including some serious tree work). My condo association contracts with Molloy Lawn & Landscape for landscaping and snow removal. While plowing in March of 2018, a Molloy associate backed into my car, causing over $2,400 worth of damage. The driver got out of his vehicle, looked at his truck, and drove off - it is all on security video footage. When I contacted Molloy to inform them of the damage, I was asked to send photos. After sharing images with the company, they subsequently refused to respond to my calls or emails. Thankfully the hit-and-run was recorded via video and my insurance agency was able to pursue the claim; however, given the recklessness and lack of integrity of the company I would recommend that anyone looking for landscaping or snow removal steer clear of Molloy. read more

TERRIBLE customer service. I scheduled a lawn treatment in fall 2018, Molloy never came as scheduled, but they still billed me for the work! When I called to complain they promised the service would be completed in the spring. I emailed in March asking when this might be scheduled. Two months later I have heard nothing back. This time of year the lawn is always brown, with the only green being a little moss. And for the first time in, well, forever, we have a green lawn! In only six months they've completely changed the look of our property. I love that they are using natural products that aren't going to harm pets or get into the water supply. Absolutely the worst first experience with a landscaper. A simple clear out and re plant of a front yard took more than 6 weeks and multiple phone calls to complete. The "designer" is all talk and offended me and my home in some way at every interaction . my plants are dead/lawn is all crabgrass despite watering as directed. After many years of deteriorating service there comes a time when I need to speak out. These men do not follow repeated customer instructions or requests; most may be well intentioned but do not speak English. And there is insufficient supervision. The crew members now come for a summer and often disappear the next year. Each summer, requests repeated weekly through the summer weeks fall on varying ears that don't respond adequately. And simple requests, like call me before you add an extra service that I did not request, are ignored. Requests to the office throughout the summer are listened to politely and much too often ignored. I have known John for years. He is uninvolved with this customer. I have met his various, changing managers and crew members each year. This company is not what it was, nor what I could recommend. Disappointing. read more

These guys are top notch. My lawn looked horrible at the spring time with weeds and crab grass and now it looks like a golf course. They also plow my yard in the winter time and do my tree work. When they DO the work it is good. That's IF they show up. I don't think the office talks to the field and vice versa. I also think they must take care of big ticket yards first. While I've been waiting more than 2 weeks on a clean out, I've seen their crews out in my town many times yet for some reason they can't do my house. First it was ordering supplies; what you ran out of mulch?!? Next it was one of their mowers broke. The kicker? I have no grass to mow. I have never posted a review but this customer experience was SO BAD I had to. They're speedy running to the bank to cash my check though. read more
