He called me on a Sunday to inform me someone just cancelled if I'd like the earlier appointment. Brought up some concerns with "patient experience " in the past, and they were a joke too. My son ran out their medication - his refills are to be filled automatically . Called their service department so he can get his refill signed off by the doctor, and they marked the message as "urgent" which means it can take up to 48 hours for the doctor to full fill that request. I asked to be transferred from the call center to the actual doctor's office and they told me they can't do that which is a lie. We use to be able to call the directly into the doctor's office, but now they don't even let you do that. Needless to say, they never got back to us yesterday, but I was able to solve the situation temporarily elsewhere . Over 40 hours since they first got the fax request from the pharmacy and still waiting. They need to seriously put better processes in place and hire competent support staff.

She let the data lead. Rather than let prior hastily arrived at opinions influence her assessment, she took test, got labs, and developed a treatment plan to help alleviate constant pain. This stood in contrast to prior evaluations of my condition apparently informed solely by my age, gender, & appearance. We had some scary moments for sure but we also could rule out things such as MS. Dr. Siavoshi is attentive to the science of medicine & the care of her patients. Two months ago, it seemed that cortisone and surgery were the only answers. My chiropractor recommended Karen and it has been phenomenal what she has accomplished. My pain, when I started, I was at level 7 or 8 on a regular basis. In just one month of treatments, I can say that I have entire days with little or no pain. I've never used acupuncture before. Here's what found out. It is a medical treatment at least 5000 years old and works for me. They are a VA Community Care provider, so Veterans can get treatment with no out-of-pocket expense, when approved. Karen's assistant, Patrice, is absolutely the best. Dr. Haas is well intentioned but practices fringe therapies that have no backing from mainstream…read moremedicine or basis in peer reviewed science, something marketing labels as "functional medicine" but is really just expensive out of pocket poorly proven procedures. This wouldn't be so bad if she was just taking money from patients and prescribing them placebos, but many of the things she does not only have the potential of not helping, but also causing harm. Perhaps worst of all is that she simply doesn't seem to understand the scientific reasoning behind a lot of the therapies she prescribes, only their marketing. I took my mom to Dr. Haas for an ozone injection into her shoulder for an injury, soon after which my mother developed Parkinson's. When I researched ozone, I found about half of sources suggested it was a neurotoxin and not neuroprotective, but the doctor wasn't aware of any of this. I feel a lot of regret that trusting Dr. Haas with my mother's care may have been what lead to Dr. Haas causing her Parkinson's. Similarly, she recommended "exosomes" to my mother, an unproven theoretical stem cell derivative, and my mom ended up developing breast cancer. Exosomes have been linked to the spread of cancer and are a completely unproven alternative therapy that it is currently illegal to administer. Probably the last straw was when she started sending out anti-vaxxer e-mails and trying to treat COVID with some other nonsense alternative therapies (light therapy. I will alwys regret bringing my mother to this doctor as I believe it stared the sequence of events that led to her disability and early death. Dr. Haas is a well intentioned but extremely dangerous doctor and should be avoided at all costs. The first principle of medicine is to do no harm. Dr. Kori Haas has left this behind a long time ago.

I was working with Dr. Farhidvash but her availibility has decreased significantly since. I asked to be moved under the care of another neurologist and after waiting a month for approval, I was scheduled a couple months later only to be met by a nurse practitioner who assists Dr. F. She informed me that my neuropathy wasn't in their records. Disappointing. Disheartening. I got a referral from my primary care for another neurologist because the Neuron Clinic is terrible.

She was extremely unprofessional and almost condescending. The first visit I ended up getting up and walking out of. Came back and had the EGG with a different practitioner. Followed up with Julia again recently. I was questioned about my personal life completely off topic of my EEG and given false information I had to correct her on. This woman should not be in this line of work. I had to cut her off from her intrusive questioning to remind her I was there for my results and had nothing more to say to her. I highly recommend asking to work with a different neurologist if you have to be at this location.
