Reasons to appreciate this dentist's office: 1. Very professional 2. Thourough cleaning that doesn't hurt 3. A good talking to if you've been slacking on your dental care 4. Careful watching of any potential issues. Example: I had a 'spot' on a tooth beginning in 2001 that wasn't filled until 2010. We talked about it at each visit and careful management lead to only a small filling almost 10 years later! 5. Even cavity filling is relatively low stress 6. Paul and his brother Leon are equally good :)

At this office they are fast, efficient and have fair prices. They work with your insurance company and make sure that you get paid the correct amounts and are getting your maximum benefits. The staff is friendly and attentive, and always calls or emails you to confirm your appointment. Without this office I would have never had ANY dental work done during college because money was just too tight. Dr. Primiano understood when I couldn't come up with enough money to have something major done. He has done temporary caps for me until I could buy a real one, and spread out my fillings so they fit better with my budget. He has squeezed not just me in for an emergency appointment but also my boyfriend and my mother. No waiting around for 4 days with a broken filling, he will make sure and get you in ASAP. After 3-4 appointments with Dr. Hamdan, I can honestly say I don't see myself going to another…read moredentist. She always takes the time to explain every procedure, why it's being done, and answers all of my questions without making me feel rushed. Andrea and Liza are also incredibly kind and welcoming--they make every visit comfortable from the moment I walk in. I originally went in because years of grinding my teeth had started chipping them away, to the point where I actually broke one. Dr. Hamdan recommended trying Botox for my TMJ and grinding. I had never had Botox before, and it honestly wasn't something I was looking to do. But if it meant protecting my teeth, I was willing to give it a try. Two weeks later, I can confidently say my grinding has decreased by about 80%. I barely clench my jaw anymore, the constant pressure and soreness are gone, and it's made a huge difference in my day-to-day comfort. As a bonus, it even slimmed my jawline a bit! "Doctor" Lina Hamden completely BUTCHERED my tooth. I went in for a simple surface cavity filling…read moreand left with my tooth shaved flat and to a tiny point that cut my tongue up. She numbed me with novocaine and then kept asking "does that feel ok now." I had no idea what she was doing or what "ok" meant. I'm completely numb, how am I supposed to know that I'm biting on a filling? So she just kept shaving more and more of my tooth off. When I accused her of being rushed in an email I was told that she took her time. So I guess I will say that she very thoughtfully and methodically shaved the inside of my molar flat and to a tiny sharp point. For weeks until I could get into another dentist I chewed on one side and had headaches and jaw pain. I can't believe that my bite is never going to line up and again and my tooth will feel misshapen and deformed from now on. Now the right side of my jaw clicks because my teeth don't line up. I wake up every morning in shock because I can't believe someone would do this to me. On top of that, this "dentist" and the rest of the staff seem to have no idea what's going on. When I initially came in for a cleaning I asked for an out-of-pocket quote for a mouthguard and was told it was a little over $500. Also, I asked about making an appointment for both the cavity and to fix a loose filling, but was told to only do one at a time. When I get there for my filling appointment I was told that the appointment was for both, even though I only made the appointment for the cavity filling. I was also told by the receptionist that they hadn't heard back about the night guard. Then 10 minutes later the "dentist" tells me that insurance denied it and it was about $900. On top of that, when I told them what I was originally quoted for, they basically called me a liar saying they have no idea how I would even get that information. After she ruined my tooth, she did offer for me to come back and look at it, but if this person can't even complete a routine filling without ruining my tooth, I would have to be crazy to go back and let her cause more damage. I had to go to another dentist who was absolutely shocked at how horrible of a job she did. He did his best to smooth it out, but it's still jagged and catches my tongue. On top of that, they billed my insurance and billed me and then wouldn't even reply to my email when I told them they owed me a reimbursement.

They also have a TMJ specialist who is a dentist with extra TMJ training that offers consultations. Well-integrated practice with wonderful people Would also recommend asking for Hiba for your dental cleaning! Very kind, patient and does a thorough job of cleaning your teeth! Very knowledgeable as well about everything from the technology to dentistry. Parking lot available - it's near the old DMV and naperville fresh market.
