I paid a large deposit upfront because I wanted a one-time visit to get everything done and reduce stress. Instead, it's been nothing but problems. First appointment: I arrived as instructed and waited over two extra hours past my scheduled time. I went to the front desk multiple times asking for updates, and each time staff would go into the back and come back with nothing. Eventually, the anesthesiologist himself had to come out and told me not to worry, to leave and drive around for another hour, and to not eat or drink. That was ridiculous. I walked out. While driving home, I spoke with Nicole, who verbally promised there would be zero issues going forward. We agreed I would be the first patient on the 18th, that I would arrive five minutes early, and that if I wasn't taken back within ten minutes, I would walk out. Second appointment: I showed up on the 18th expecting to move forward as agreed, only to be told my appointment had been automatically rescheduled to December 23rd without my knowledge. Nicole did call, but from a different number than the office, which my phone flagged as spam. The new date is the day before Christmas Eve, which I'm not available for and forced me to cancel plans. So much for "zero issues." At this point, I still haven't received treatment, and this will be my third time walking into this office. I'm only continuing because I'll lose my deposit if I don't. What was supposed to ease my dental anxiety has made it ten times worse due to constant delays, poor communication, and random scheduling changes. I'll provide a third update after December 23rd, but based on everything so far, this office is disorganized, unreliable, and not appropriate for patients with anxiety.

What I didn't like was how I one time went to go pick them up and they asked one of them when she could come in for her next appointment and she just chose a date that she thought would work I'm really surprised on how they can ask a 12 year old girl at the time without telling her parents about increasing charges.

I did try dentists in other places I lived and had some pretty terrible experiences. Returning to Dr. Champer and his lovely hygenists (my favorite is Becky) made me appreciate them even more. Reasons to appreciate this dentist's office: 1. Very professional 2. Thourough cleaning that doesn't hurt 3. A good talking to if you've been slacking on your dental care 4. Careful watching of any potential issues. Example: I had a 'spot' on a tooth beginning in 2001 that wasn't filled until 2010. We talked about it at each visit and careful management lead to only a small filling almost 10 years later! 5. Even cavity filling is relatively low stress 6. Dr. Susan Mazzei is the kindest, most compassionate health care professional I have ever met/been treated by. She cares so much about her patients - beyond anything you could possibly hope for in a dentist! She's incredibly knowledgeable and skilled of course, but it's the way she truly cares and goes the extra mile for her patients that makes her so great. For example, I had a "Marilyn Bridge" that another Dr. put in as a temporary fix and was always breaking off, leaving me with an embarrassingly ugly missing front tooth until the dentist could see me. When I started seeing Dr. Mazzei, she gave me her personal cell phone number in case I ever had an "emergency" - well I was home for holiday break from college and the tooth broke off on Saturday night when I was set to fly back to school in rural Pennsylvania on Monday! I called Dr. Mazzei to get her advice and she insisted on coming in ON A SUNDAY just to fix my tooth!!!! Seriously, what dentist or doctor do you know who would do something so kind and generous?!? Also, before we got married, my husband and I had our smiles transformed quickly and painlessly by Dr. Mazzei! First, my husband had lived with a big gap in his front teeth his whole life, which he HATED and made him self-conscious. His previous dentists had all said he would need a full set of braces and/or caps/veneers to fix - both options were too expensive/painful/annoying, so he just lived with the gap. I suggest he visit Dr Mazzei before we got married and she found a perfectly creative and inexpensive solution - that day she put one bracket set on the BACK of his teeth (so no ugly braces) and a set of rubber bands and in only a couple of days his teeth were perfect, just in time for our big day! I think it only cost under $100 (compare that to about $4k for braces he really didn't need!) I was born missing one front adult tooth and the other a peglateral, but you wouldn't know it to look at me, thanks to Dr. Mazzei! For my crazy teeth, Dr. Mazzei and her excellent surgeon colleague did an absolutely fantastic job replacing my bridge with a permanent, sturdy dental implant, so I could smile with confidence on my big day! Prior to this, all the dentists I visited said that I couldn't get an implant or that if I did, I would have to have an implant with no fake tooth attached for at least six months! Well Dr Mazzei found a way and the procedure was even about a third of the price of the other dentists I had gotten consultations from! 9 years later and the implant is still perfect and my husband's gap is still closed! Dr. Mazzei's new colleague, Dr. Esposito is also amazing! My 3 year old son, who is very sensitive, had a wonderful first cleaning with her! Office staff are top notch! Great scheduling and billing help. They always work with us to get appointments all at the same time etc. and no long wait times. Over 10 years of consistently perfect, dedicated service, innovative solutions and compassionate care for my entire family. THANK YOU DR MAZZEI!

I needed a new dentist closer to home and found this location/dentist that had good reviews…read more Unfortunately I cracked a tooth and needed to be seen more urgently than a regular cleaning. Getting in was not the quickest, compared to other dentists, but they fit me in when they could. After seeing the dentist initially, I did like them. However given the nature of my cracked tooth, I had to be sent to specialists and then return to dentist office several times. I was fine with this. Things took a turn though with my follow up appointments at the office. I should mention I had to take sick days to see the dentist due to their hours. If this were a one and done thing I would say that would be fine, but this was not the case. During one of the appointments I drove to their office only to get a call while I was in the parking lot, informing me the dentist was sick and they had to reschedule. Fine, okay... very last minute since I was already there, but I accepted the news. I rebooked the following week. The following week comes and I take the day off from work again, and the morning of the appointment they cancel my appointment again. So that would be now two days off.. on top of all the other days I had to take off for the initial visit and my specialist visits. I reschedule for the following week and take a day off again..... thankfully they didn't cancel this time but when I got to the appointment, they discovered that the crown that was ordered did not fit and they would have to reorder. As a result I wouldn't recommend this dentist to others. The fact that this was such a long process and I ran into a lot of cancelled appointments/ fitting issue, I wouldn't recommend this place to others.

He's very organized in terms of knowing when you're due for xrays, how much insurance will cover, how much services will cost, etc. and he is very detailed in all aspects of a procedure - I just had a cavity filled and he made sure my night guard would fit (granted I remembered to bring it along, they also cleaned it for free!) and that there would be space between teeth for flossing. At this point my husband and I both go to see him every 6 months even though we live in Indiana, and my parents both go to see him now too. You are in a good dentist's hands with Dr. Zomorrodi.

I have difficulty numbing and they were patient - most dentists do not even believe me and yet I did not have to tell them twice! They also proposed a solution to a receded gum line that I no other dentist has offered to fix. I have moved quite a bit in my lifetime and have thus had experiences with a plethora of dental practices. Comfort Care makes me hesitant to move anywhere again as I finally found a dentist I love!!
