It's amazing that Dr Dawson has had the same staff for 20 years. Janine and Joann are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. They are also happy and it makes the office so much nicer overall. I have visited this Ear, Nose, and Throat Care office five times now for my chronic sinus…read moreinfection, or chronic sinusitis to be precise. The five visits cover initial consultation with Dr. Jennifer Heydt which extended to include a pre-op consultation, a visit for a head CT scan, followed by three post-op visits. At least one more visit is in the horizon, but hopefully, that is the last. This review addresses only this facility and the general staff. Throughout the five appointments, I had zero issues with scheduling, checking-in, being seen in a timely manner, and scheduling follow-up appointments. The front desk staff is courteous. So are the nurses of this office. On the days that I needed more time to recover after a post-op 'suction' appointment before I can leave the clinic room, I was never hurried, I was always told to take my time. The nurses are always very kind and patient. I am perhaps too famous for my extreme case of infection, and everyone was always very nice to me. Thank you for that. The facility has everything it needs. It feels a bit small, but that is understandable given all the doctors perform surgeries as well and are not always using the office. Amongst the names, my husband recognized Dr. Jennifer Heydt as the person he saw when he was having seemingly non-stop nosebleeds and miraculously fixed it in one appointment. Naturally, I picked her name amongst all others. Seeing her during the first visit, she expressed amazement at the magnitude of infections my CT scans show (well, it has been nearly a year of symptoms). I had done my research, and as expected, she recommended surgery. Despite my research and her immediate recommendation, I still have some hesitations. I went through the motions of pre-op consultation and scheduling. Days later, I called back and expressed my hesitations. To my surprise, it was Dr. Heydt herself who called me back. She was able to calm my nerves, and I agreed to the surgery. Perhaps my case was much more extreme. My recovery was far more difficult than she let on. I was told that I would have mild bleeding for 24 hours. I wasn't told that I would be a mouth-breather for a week, interrupted sleep that required me to be sitting instead of laying normally, and have bloody globs coming out of my nose. I saw her one week later during the first post-op, and she literally vacuumed an insane amount of goo out of my nasal passages. The process scraped all my nerves, but I felt a ton better afterwards. I could breathe! Well, like comedians have said - tragedy plus time equals comedy. Perhaps Dr. Heydt was expressing less recovery than reality because she knows I needed to hear that to proceed with the surgery. It isn't quite over yet, but I am getting there thanks to Dr. Heydt. I couldn't stop staring at it!! He did an amazing job at refining my nose and proportioning it with my features. Not only is he a master, he also truly listens to his patient's needs. He went for a beautiful natural look rather than overdone and fake. I also had the best recovery I could ask for. He personally called in the evening to see how I'm doing after the surgery. I want to thank him for all of the measures he took to provide fast recovery. I had no nausea after the procedure, pain and swelling was controlled. All of the staff members took exceptional care..anesthesiologist, surgical tech, nurses, reception staff. I highly recommend Dr. Ummat and his staff. You won't regret it!

I was in a deep, deep depression for the year and a half after the botched job, and Dr. Lamberti was able to provide exactly what he said he would. Unlike other plastic surgeons, he doesn't keep a pretentious office or surgery center, it seemed to be a regular hospital but the quality of his work is much better than the flashy practices. He also doesn't get overly personal with patients and sticks to business in a friendly way which I respect. From my experience I would say you can definitely trust him, it is expensive but for me I got my life and identity back which makes it worth it.

What's even worse is that when I swung by the pharmacy to pick up my meds and there's stuff in there he didn't even mention. No instructions either from him or even a morsel of care; the guy is LAZY. Funny that he also handed over a pamphlet on nasal allergies - that kind of summarizes Dr. Young's approach: basic, cheap, and borderline useless. Save your time and see someone else. Oh, and I was also seen 17 mins late despite the fact the place was dead.

Getting information about the risks of surgery took weeks of calling and they acted suprised and put out that I would want to know before I decided on surgery. They wanted me to just schedule the surgery, pay the initial fee, then on the day of my surgery they would "give me the paperwork" that explained the risks? How are you supposed to make an informed decision on whether you even want surgery? The office is constantly running late and overbooked. Your appointment will never start anywhere near on time. Doctors run back and forth between patients during your appointment, leaving you sitting around alone in an exam room for no reason. Once they have your money and you're done with the surgery, they ghost you if you end up with problems from it. My surgery caused more problems than it solved. I wish I'd never done it. On top of all that, half of their front office staff is bitchy and unprofessional, like incompetent teenage mean girls.

Then it took another half a hour to get through the building, parking and two elevators!!!! All to be told, come back another day! With a nonchalant attitude! Dr. Knapp is a god-send! I have been miserable the last 5-6 years. I couldn't breathe, was coughing…read moreconstantly, couldn't lose my baby weight because I'd go to the gym and be wheezing and have to stop. Probably worst of all were the constant sinus infections, 5-8 infections each year. I was always on antibiotics--the last infection took me through four different antibiotics and none would help. I was referred to Dr. Knapp's office a couple months ago, and he went through my CT scans, did an exam, and determined the root cause of my problems: small cavities, infected tissue that no medication would help, deviated septum, and just very small airways. He gave me lots of options, and also mentioned surgery. I have heard how awful sinus surgery is, but he told me that while he can't guarantee it to cure 100% of my ailments, that it would make my life significantly better. So, I went in a month ago and had turbinate reduction (he took an inch off from one cavity!), removal of the infected tissue and opening of my passageways, as well as a septoplasty. A month after the surgery now, I feel like my entire life has changed. I haven't coughed once! I used to stay up all night coughing, every night. The recovery has had some pretty disgusting parts, but I can't tell you how amazing it is to be able to breath. I only had dissolvable packing, which I heard is the worst part of the recovery, and no bruising at all. He's a miracle worker, and his staff is fantastic: his nurse was always available to me, (he even called me twice on the phone, which I have never heard of a doctor doing before), and his billing staff worked diligently to get my stubborn insurance to cover the cost. Another reassuring point is that I see an amazing doctor for my asthma and allergy issues, and he and Dr. Knapp told me the same things about treatment, ailments, recovery, without ever even talking to each other. I was very impressed that these doctors were on the same page. :) He's amazing!
