He did a project for my mom in August of this year - a simple small outdoor landing and two step staircase down to her pool. He was friendly and promised to do the job himself and even stated this was his favorite type of work to do. He finished in a day and a half and it was shoddy, second rate work that certainly would not pass inspection and will definitely not last. When we tried to reach back out to him, he completely ghosted. My mother and I sent numerous texts with pictures and calls and voicemails pleading Robert to talk about the project and he never responded to a single one. He said he gave a 1 year guarantee on his work and would come out to visit the project at the 1 year mark to make sure it was still sound - this was obviously a lie and he will clearly say anything to you to get you to sign a contract with him for a project. Stay far away from this guy and this company. Obviously would give zero stars if I was able.

He was supposed to work from 9 to 3, he was never at my house at 9 am and when he finally did come 10am or 11 am he never stayed past 2. He would work maybe an hour and then talk about his whole life for an hour or so and then leave. Took off completely on Fridays. He placed an order for a window and window flashing tape and framing lumber, bathroom vents, Insulation for walls and floor 2 electric boxes, and flooring braces for 1,274.34 $ and told me the widow was going to be delivered to my house but it never came. Nor did he bring any of the other materials ordered. He did not return any of the $4,000 and all he did was demo and some awful plumbing rough in that was all wrong. So if you need bathroom remodel or upgrade DON'T GET N.E.A.R. CONTRACTING L.L.C. Robert K. Belton Owner. He did NOT have an MHIC, nor does he have an license for plumbing or electricity. He lied to me repeatedly. He probably doesn't care about this review because he is moving to Florida in May. He mistook kindness for weakness and he had a rude attitude about him. Hope no one else has to put up with this awful handyman who pretends to be so much more. He is not even a 1 star but to post I have to press a rating.

They also were simply pleasant to have in our home for the better part of three months; they were always incredibly prompt, cleaned up after themselves, and treated our entire family, including kids and cats, with a lot of care. Right from the start, Parviz gave us confidence that the work would be done well. He listened to what we wanted and provided us a complete estimate. He visited the site regularly, checking on his employees and asking us if we had any questions. When I reported to him that one of his employees wasn't getting as much done as the other, he pulled the employee from the job and put someone else on it. When I noted a seam in the wallboard, he had his workers flatten it and repaint. When he noticed peeling paint around a window that we hadn't asked him to address, he had his workers take care of it anyway. And when the supports for a shower rod got lost, he had an employee purchase, deliver, and install a shower rod. They even provided a shower curtain and hooks!
