I couldn't find anyone whose photos I liked at a price-point that was reasonable. In addition to price, I had something rather specific I was looking for in the photos - a look that was moodier than most wedding photography, with a higher contrast and deeper shadows (without going overboard). Then we found Larousse, and she ticked all of those boxes, and delivered to us wedding photos that many of our friends and family have called 'the best they've ever seen.' She was great day-of too, as was her second shooter (Leo? I feel terrible I can't remember if that was his name). They did a wonderful job of being communicative and giving us guidance, helping get us the best looks, without being overbearing. My wife and I just can't say enough good things about our experience with her. If we did it all over again, we'd go with Larousse 10/10 times, hands down. He knew what we were looking for and took pictures of everything, food, guests, the venue. He directed all of the family photos and wasn't afraid to tell people to fix things for the sake of the pictures.
