Wow where do i start? this is all for the service dept, they have this courtesy service where they are suppose to pick you up, take you back if u dont wanna sit and wait, they will come to your house and pick up your car and return it... but wait! thats only if they have the staff available, and if the computer system doesnt go down which happens quite a bit! dont even try to use the phone to try and call and say hey our system went down we are running behind etc. dont offer a service if you have only 2 people trying to do all the transports and part running! dont give some a time and not have the courtesy to call and say we are running behind is there anyway you can come pick up yourself? bottom line is stay away from this dealership they try and sell you junk you dont need they try and sell the pour in snake oil instad of just giving you and oil change they say oh well if it messes up its your fault cause u didn't add the additives! take your buisness elsewhere, and not that it will matter but i will be in touch with ford about the issue with this dealership! read more

I've dealt with Jacky Jones Ford, and now it is called John Megal Ford. Both times there was something wrong with the transmission in my car, and I received no updates. I had to call and pester people to get any information. This last time, they kept my car for 10 weeks. It just happened to be ready the day I called and demanded to talk to someone. They said for all the trouble they were going to detail it. I came today to pick it up at eight am and it took 30 minutes to locate my car and to see if it had been detailed. It has not been detailed, I'm late to work, and I still don't quite know what all was done to my car. I was given no paperwork. I will never deal with this place again. read more

Wow! Where do I begin. I called the service department 3 times and 0 return call backs. I finally decided to go in person for them to check out my transmission since it has been failing. My experience that day was so good, it made up for the 0 return calls. Stephanie at the service desk went beyond my expectations. Friendly, smiles, helpful and professional. She will be my go to girl now. Then, Tim, the mechanic, texted me right away and started a rapport with me while I waited to be taken home. Oh, and the guys at the desk in the waiting room were so respectful and "yes ma'am and have a nice day ma'am. I love that Southern charm. Then Jesse, OMG Jesse! The sweetest man on earth. While I waited home, Stephanie called me twice and kept me informed about my car. Then their valet partners delivered the car to me. I ordered a Hybrid Ford Maverick in early October 2021. Was promised an order confirmation from Ford Corporate within a week. Never received order confirmation. Called Ryan Welch (sales) and Hal Pardue (sales mgr) no fewer than 10 times attempting to verify my order and get confirmation throughout October. Neither ONCE returned my messages left when they didn't pick up. Ford announced they were closing orders for the Hybrid Maverick on 11/15, so I called several more times trying to confirm my order prior to the cutoff. On 10/21, I received an order preview with out-the-door price from Ryan Welch, which included an order number. All seemed well, except I never received an order confirmation email from Ford. Come December/January, I call back requesting more information, and Ryan informed me that they had "12 or more other customers who had their orders canceled by Ford corporate" with the Hybrid Maverick on order. I called Ford with my order number and dealer codes. Ford has no record of the order. Even if the order was canceled, they would have been able to see that, according to Ford. Ford has not canceled Hybrid orders that were placed before the cutoff. Long story short, Jacky Jones/John Megel Ford, Hal Pardue, and Ryan Welch screwed up a dozen potential customers' orders, never fully executed the order, and want to place the blame on Ford instead of owning their mistake. The only recourse they gave me was to place an Ecoboost Maverick order (more expensive, not what I want) or wait until 2023 for the truck I actually want. If I see my Hybrid Maverick on the lot (and I'll be watching) for sale at a substantial dealer markup--which a previous Maverick had on their lot--I'll be reaching out to Ford for further complaints, filing a complaint with the BBB, and updating every review I can to warn others about ordering a new vehicle from John Megel Ford. read more

I called the dealership to get an answer to what time they closed as I had seen a couple different times. The nice operator transfers me to the sales que and Fritz answers the phone. I'm sure to him it was just another sales call that rarely end in sales. (I sold cars in my youth, 95% of those calls are dead ends). Talked with Fritz a few minutes explaining i was buying a car for my daughter. Inventory has been low and prices high so this car I was looking at wasn't likely going to be around long. Fritz was going out of town the next day. I called my daughter and got her to get off early to get there ASAP. It's an hour + drive to them from us and I hate being that guy who makes people stay late. Called Fritz back and said we're coming, he said come on. We went and it was an unbelievably pleasant, friendly experience. I've bought several Lincoln's at Jacky Jones Lincoln in Gainesville and have always been pleased. Fritz was top notch. His taste in vehicles was pretty close to mine so we got along great. He wrote up the deal and got it into f&I pretty quick. Casey in F&I did an amazing job and had a 2.99 offer for us from Ford Motor Credit. Casey did have to suffer counting $10k cash that was all the way down to 5 dollar bills my daughter had saved. But he was great and we discussed both having all girls. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Fritz even stayed all the way through then sat with my daughter in the car going over features! The man is the definition of what you want in a car salesman. Don't hesitate to use Jacky Jones Ford. Ask for Fritz!!! Also they aren't those freaking mask nazis. This is actually my second review for Jacky Jones. If I could give them a zero at this point I would. They are the ones that replaced my fan during a recall on my 2015 jeep renegade. I've had nothing but issues with it for months overheating the fans won't come on the air conditioner wouldn't work turns out they put in my wiring harness backwards. I had to drive further away to a dealer, Hayes Chrysler comma who actually knew what they were doing. Once they fixed all of Jacky Jones's mistakes my car has been working fine since. My car was towed there on Monday June 20th. The guy at the front was nice but told me no one can even look at my car for another week. I called the service manager Joshua Wilson and he did help me get the car looked at A week later. I called the sales floor Friday June 24th to try to work out getting into a new vehicle. His name was John Jones. I spoke to him twice and he said he would call me back with pricing and payment information. He got back to me Monday June 27 just as they were closing. No one has called me back. If you want your car repaired and can drive it elsewhere, do so! I'm at their mercy because my car does not run. They refused to look to see if there were any recalls on the Jeep and they told my insurance that it was mechanical failure even though the car had a factory recall That was causing the problem! Why not do their job and help with the recalls? Looks like Ill be waiting a bit longer to get a car back on the road. The only good thing I've experienced so far about this dealership is the coffee and snacks in their lobby. My advice is to drive past this dealership and go next door to John Megel Ford. Purchased a Mustang 6 months ago and the front end started making a popping noise. Call their service department and made an appointment to have it checked out. When I showed up for my appointment they told me that they don't make appointments and they weren't going to be able to look at it that day that I would have to leave it there for a couple of days before they would be able to look at it. When asked why I was told to show up on that specific day, and I also received a text confirming my appointment on that day, they replied "I don't know who you talked to but we don't do appointments." I was directed to the dealership through the autotrader site while looking for a new to me truck. On Wednesday, February 17th after reviewing the dealership and seeing they had a 4.5 out of 5-star rating and a recipient of 17 Ford President Awards, I contacted salesman Ben Lawrence via text and phone. Ben and I immediately connected as we discussed the vehicle I was interested in purchasing as well as my past dealership experiences. We conducted most of the sale remotely and once everything was decided I made the over two hour drive to finalize the deal. Once we arrived, I met briefly with Ben then sat down with Casey Tatum to complete all the documentation. The entire process took less than 45 minutes and as I was pulling out of the dealership in a new to me 2019 Silver Ford F-250 ($63,525.00) I made the comment to my wife that this was the best buying experience I have ever had through a dealership. I was poised to leave the highest possible rating for this dealership and the team who handled my transaction. The vehicle I purchased was a reacquired vehicle which had a "no start" issue. The issue with the vehicle was said to be repaired with no sign of reoccurrence. Unfortunately, this was not the case and on Saturday February 19th would not start and left me stranded 37 miles from home for over an hour. I immediately contacted Ben to advise him and supplied pictures and video of the issue. The no start issue continued throughout the day to include after dinner with guests on the evening of the 19thfor over 30 minutes. The following morning, I contacted Ben and advised him the vehicle would not start. Thankfully, Ben coordinated the delivery and pickup of a replacement vehicle for Monday. On Tuesday February 23rd, after serious consideration I decided that I did not feel safe continuing to use the vehicle as I travel out of town for business frequently. I reached out to Ben to advise I was not comfortable with the vehicle and to inquire as to whether I could get my trade in back and walk away from the deal. I was told this was not an option as the loan had already been funded. At that point I decided to pursue the replacement vehicle they delivered. The replacement vehicle was also a reacquired 2019 Ford F-250 ($67,690.00) with some additional creature comforts. I originally did not see the vehicle on the lot due to setting my spending cap and search criteria at $65K. Naturally, I asked Ben if there was any way they could meet in the middle on the difference. Ben stated there may be some room for flex due to asset depreciation however after looking into it, he returned to say there was no room for discount. I was no stuck in a situation where I could pay more than I had desired for a vehicle or put my faith in the original vehicle that had already left me stranded multiple times. I decided I would continue the purchase of the replacement vehicle at full asking price. On Wednesday February 24th, I notified Ben to finalize the deal. Nearly a month later, on Tuesday March 16th the purchase of the replacement vehicle was finally complete. In that months' timeframe there were multiple frustrating telephone conversations with the team at Jacky Jones. This is a very condensed version of the month long back and forth. In addition to all the mental frustration, while in Florida on business I was pulled over due to the vehicle having a test drive tag. The officer believed the vehicle to be stolen since I can only assume test drives from Georgia do not include central Florida. Luckily, I was able to provide text messages and insurance coverage to satisfy the officer. Of all my 13 previous vehicle purchases this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The response to the situation and timeframe of resolution was completely unacceptable and only received because there was no walk away option. Throughout the entire process the team kept reiterating how the dealership is losing money on the taxes paid for the previous vehicle and how they responded with the delivery of a replacement vehicle. This was being stated as if I created the situation and should be grateful for the dealership doing what any good business would do in this situation. During our initial conversation I notified Ben that I was very credit conscious and only wanted my credit pulled once an agreement was reached. However, from start to finish my credit was pulled 6 times in total. Three separate occurrences through two of the reporting agencies. I know this has minimal impact on your score however it does stay on the report for two years and creates perception from potential lenders. A phone call and apology from Mr. Jacky Jones, Dennis Green, or the General Manager Berrong Kimsey would have spoken volumes and could have in fact prevented this review. The only thing worse than having to deal with a situation like this is to know your business and customer satisfaction is not important enough to warrant a simple phone call. Buyer Beware! read more

I said no, I always get a ton of unwanted phone calls when I call a dealership, and that if he didn't know the price I was going to move on. He said "thanks for calling!" Yet another car salesman who wants my number so they can call and bug the crap out if me. These types of dealers give me nightmares about buying a car. Seriously?!? You can't just give me a price? This was hands down the best ever dealership experience I have ever been apart of. I drove three hours to purchase my truck with a pit in my stomach knowing how my experiences in the past have been. My mother bought a Lexus SUV here just after Christmas. It had just been traded in by the previous owner. The vehicle is fantastic, no complaints there. The problem has been the customer service and the dealership not living up to their word. When the vehicle was purchased, my mother was told that the previous owner still had the second key and that they would take care of getting it to her and they also promised her a detailing job on it, since they had not done that yet. Within about a week, she traded the vehicle to me, as she preferred my smaller SUV and I wanted a larger one than the one I had. It's now almost April and still no second key. I have called NUMEROUS times since January and have spoken with the man my mom originally dealt with (Tony) about a dozen times. I was first told that they were working on getting in touch with the previous owner, then I was told that he apparently didn't have a second key now. Then, I was continually put off over and over again - he had to talk to the manager, he had to talk to so-and-so. I have NEVER received a call from him. EVER. I have initiated every single call and every time he's promised to call me back he never has. The last time I actually spoke with him, I offered a compromise - if they would pay for the key and the cutting service (I even referred them to a wholesale site to have this done), that I would take care of paying to have it programmed by Lexus, which would run me about $50. No response. No answer. No callbacks, even after my attempts to reach them to follow up. Nothing. In a final attempt, I called again yesterday. I asked for Tony and was first immediately disconnected by the receptionist (who wasn't terribly friendly to begin with). I called back, asked for Tony but got someone named Wayne. I was told Tony was with someone else, so I asked for a manager. I was then put on hold while I heard him talking with someone who I could tell knew who I was when my name was mentioned. Wayne came back and told me that Tony had JUST walked in and would call me back in five minutes. That was more than 24 hours ago. I have no delusions that they will ever live up to their word at this point. I should have known this would be the case when during an earlier phone conversation I mentioned coming in for the detail job and hopefully picking up the key at that time and Tony actually laughed in response. This is really unfortunate, as I have a lot of family in the area who buy cars and Jacky Jones will not be getting business from any of them now. My mom has since bought two more vehicles but not from them. If they'd rather lose business than do right by others, that's on them. Their word apparently isn't even worth the $215 the second key would have cost them. 4/5/14 Edited to Add: After posting this review on multiple sites, I received a call that they had located the key and it was being mailed to me. I did receive it in the mail today. It's not another master key - only a backup, completely manual key (no buttons) but at least it's a second key. Besides the anti-mask COVID denier attitudes dripping down from the owners of this dealership down to the reception desk employee at their Quick Lane franchise, they literally tried to scam my wife today by trying to make her sign a work order that had hidden within the pages a cost for the agreed repair that was literally double the estimate price she was handed by the manager himself last week. She was supposed to get the front struts replaced on her SUV for an already inflated price of 850. When she decided to verify everything in the order matched the written estimate before signing, she discovered they where trying to charge her 1750 instead. When she mentioned there was a huge discrepancy between quoted prices and the work order, the receptionist gave her an attitude and stated the manager, Greg Everson, was somewhere around but she didn't have time to look for him, that she was too busy with three other customers. So they are trying to scam her while spreading their disgusting germs during the height of a pandemic and then having the audacity to cop an attitude with her. This is not the first time she has been given an attitude by one of their dim witted employees. In fact she has video of another employee chewing her out because she had the temerity to show up for an oil change an hr and half before closing time (we'll be posting video of incident soon) Yes shame on her for going back to that backwoods place when it's obvious these people don't care for our business by intending to double an already high ticket repair. Lucky for us she walked out without signing anything. Honestly I'm glad that lady was super rude to my wife as we found a reputable well known shop to do the same repair for 400.00 So Quick Lane at Jacky Ford lost 850 dollars, but we saved 450. Yay. I just hope my wife didn't catch the rona thanks to these people's anti hygienic attitudes. read more

We purchased a used Ford F550 on 5/29/2017 and still have not received the title as of 7/10/2017!! We cannot register or use the vehicle until the dealer can find the title. The finance department was very untruthful and told us several times that they are shipping it Fed Ex overnight which was truly not the case! I would not recommend giving this dealership any money until you have all the paperwork in front of you. We are now working with the Atlanta BBB to resolve this issue. Purchased a 2016 Ford Fusion Energi in May of 2016 from Jacki Jones. I live in Florida and they are in Georgia. They delivered the car to my doorstep (some 350 miles) and took my car back as a trade. There was a small incidence when with their driver had a small mishap and ruined the rear bumper. One phone call solved the problem. Jacky Jones authorized my body shop in Florida to replace the bumper. They made payment to the body shop directly and everyone was happy. My wife and I love the car and the great way everything was handled right from the beginning. Bottom line....We would highly recommend Jacky Jones, and we would certainly do business with them again. I chose this place because of all the good reviews. Normally my husband does this but because my car is under warranty having it changed with a receipt of proof for my warranty is the ONLY reason we took it in to be "professionally" done. I took my car in for an oil change when they told me my car was ready, I went to start it and noticed the key was bent I look at it and sure enough it was. The remote was broken off it, I took it in and the receptionist guy "fixed" it. Well I got it home, told my husband and he looked at it and the actual key was bent. Called the place and told them. The guy literally said "the key went back together", yeah it may have went back together but YOU BENT THE ACTUAL KEY. So they told us we'd have to drop the vehicle off for there locksmith to make a new one. After debating forever about taking our brand new vehicle up there because of them already bending the key, we decided to let them make it right. We took it up there and they told us that the locksmith would replace it the next morning. That night while dropping it off we took pictures of EVERYTHING because this is a brand new vehicle and we already lost trust in them about the whole key situation. We took a video of the entire vehicle as well. My 4Runner had one scratch on the back door on the right side (when we bought the vehicle it was like that) and that is the only one. Well we go to pick up the vehicle the next night and we noticed a medium sized scratch on the left fender and the paint was off too. My husband called and no one answered. An employee came down and asked us what was wrong (because we weren't leaving there until we had a witness), and we should him the car before and now. He was just as mad as us and told us to call first thing in the am to speak with the manger, he also told us he wouldn't take the vehicle.... we weren't about to leave it there to be damaged AGAIN! We took pictures while the vehicle was still on the lot and had that witness as well just in case they tried to play games when we called the next morning. The next day my husband calls and they told him "that was already there", my husband got off the phone with them and sent all the videos and pictures and proof that it wasn't. They called back a few minutes later and said "they aren't fixing or covering it because someone else could of done the damage when it was sitting on the lot someone that doesn't work for them". We were told that this manager would do that and try to argue with us about it. He is refusing to give us the owners number. Now I don't know about you but this is extremely poor customer service and it will be dealt with. This is not okay to treat a customers car like this. I would NOT take your vehicle here, very unprofessional and lazy ! Still currently dealing with this crap. It's on your lot it's YOUR PROPERTY! As careless as the tech was who had to of known he broke my key I really don't put it pass one of them to scratch it also! read more

NEVER HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE!! And definantly don't send your wife or someone who knows little about cars because they will be taken advantage of. It all began when my wife needed an oil change. She called around and this was the only place that wasn't to busy (probably for a good reason). She took her vehicle in and they did a change the oil. She got back into her vehicle and saw that the the fob surrounding the key was bent at a 90° angle. She took the key back to Eric at the counter and he rigged it back together and said it was fine so she left believing she it would be ok. When I looked at the key that night I found that not only did the key get hung up in the ignition every couple try's but the plastic clips that hold the fob to the metal key were also broken. I called and talked to Eric at the desk and he claimed they did not do it and he had fixed and tested her key for her. This is a 200$ key on a 40000$ vehicle! After numerous phone calls he offered a coupon for a free oil change. I told him I wanted a new key that was not damaged, after realizing I was not getting anywhere I even offered to just take a refund and buy the key myself and cut my loses. He was extremely rude and said he would get back with me. He never did... I called and talked with the service manager the next day Gregg Everson and he said he would make it right if I dropped the vehicle off there for his locksmith to make a key. He said the vehicle would be in his personal care and taken care of. I dropped the vehicle off there but not before walking around the vehicle recording a video of every panel, not only because Eric was rude and I wasn't sure if him or someone else would purposely do something to the vehicle, but also because it was damaged the first time and I didn't want it to happen again. I picked the vehicle up that evening after they closed because I work all day. I immediately noticed two scratches on the front of the vehicle one on the fender flare and one just above it on the fender itself. It also looked like a poor attempt to touch it up was made .To say the least I was very upset that my new vehicle had more damage. I walked to the service area where an older gentleman was cleaning up for the night and he looked at it with me I will not state his name hear but this is what he said "don't put up with that these kids in here don't care how your vehicle leaves this happens all the time. Call jackey himself and get it taken care of Gregg Everson will promise you the moon and never deliver". This man did put me at ease and said don't let it go someone will make it right. I called Gregg Everson this morning and he asked for pictures. I sent them and he responded saying no one there did any damage to it and it could have been done by someone passing through the lot. Incompetence at it's worst. I had two major incidences at this place. The first was when I got my tires rotated and they didn't tighted the lug nuts. I heard a strange noise and when I took the car back, they blew me off. I took it across the street at another place and they told me what was wrong. I was about to go on a long road trip and this place could have killed me and my family. Believing that everyone makes mistakes, I took it back for new brakes. Again, started making a funny noise. Took is someplace else and was told the rotors were worn and should have been replaced with the brake pads. When we asked why this was not taken care of the mechanic said plain and simply, "incompetence." Never will I use this place again for ANYTHING!! read more

Dealt with them on email until I got and out the door price on a 2015 F250. So I told them I wanted to talk to a salesman, and it took a few hours before he call. I told him what truck I wanted, he came back with a price over $5000 more on the truck. They will tell you anything to try to get you in the store. I'll keep looking. read more

I am beyond thrilled with my car buying experience at Jacky Jones. Lee Call, my salesman, was exceptionally friendly, helpful and kind. He really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable after I was jerked around by other car salesman for weeks during my car search. Let me go into a bit more detail about this- my husband and I were looking for a used 2017 Fiat Spider 124. At first we thought it would be a good idea to buy local. We visited several local car dealerships, but we were not happy with the selection or the way we were treated. Specifically, a lack of work ethic, follow up, or caring about the customer. We decided to broaden our search online, and that didn't go much better. I spent several weeks of sleepless nights, worrying about making such a large purchase from someone over the Internet- how could I trust these people? To me, it was very important that I find someone I could trust and put some faith in that this would be ok. I'm a pretty good read on people, and I couldn't find anyone I felt comfortable buying a car from. There was always something that didn't add up....one guy didn't want to take additional pictures of the car we liked- he claimed that "There are pictures online! Why do you want MORE pictures?" What was HE trying to hide? Nothing felt "right". Just bad gut feelings that it wasn't going to turn out well. Then after LOTS of searching, I found the perfect car, exactly what I wanted, at a great price, in Cleveland, GA. I sent an inquiry, and wasn't expecting much. I had almost given up hope. Then within an hour, the kindest, friendliest man called me- Mr. Lee Call. He answered all my questions, and then, without my even asking, he went out and took a VIDEO of the car for me! It showed me the detail, inside and out, of the car I really wanted. The car looked great, and I felt comfortable saying "I want to make a deal."We are from Louisville, KY, and since I had to work, my husband rented a car and drove down to see the car in person and sign the paperwork. He met with Lee, test drove the car, and said that Lee and everyone at Jacky Jones could not have been nicer or more helpful. He bought the car and made the seven hour drive back home. When I saw the car and drove it, I was beyond thrilled. It was everything Lee said it was and more. I couldn't be happier! I have bought five cars from this store. Three from Jacky himself. All the cars have been great drivers. They paid to alter the seats in my Explorer due to the hard backs. I never requested that. I will use them again when buying a Ford. Maybe a Chrysler product too. read more

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. I feel as if I was taken advantage of during the sale experience. They know I needed a vehicle desperately and used that against me. I contacted the dealer and the Ford corporate office both of which would not listen to me. The dealer manage basically said that all of the problems I was having with the vehicle my mechanic was lying to me and the Corporate office was of no help. I hope this helps. read more
